Shikamaru had mostly returned to a normal life after that incident, Naruto never came back. He found this strange as the blond said he was interested in him. Was he lying? Shikamaru shook his head at the thought, if that was the case Naruto would tell him. He wouldn't leave him hanging like that. But still, he went out on boarder patrol for a week and not once when he snuck off did Naruto come and find him. He must know that Shikamaru was waiting for him right?

He didn't like this one bit, he wanted the blond here. You don't just rape someone, apologize and then disappear for two fucking weeks. He was near pulling his head in frustration at the situation. He didn't know what was going with him, he felt like crying for an entirely different reason. When did his mental barriers become so weak? He just wanted to talk to the blond, he'd become distant with his friends. They were taking notice and tried to find ways to bring him closer but Shikamaru didn't want that.

He was slowly becoming frustrated with them, they were so damn happy all the time. They had their relationships and placed half hearted effort when it came to finding Naruto. So what if it had been 3 years. This was the same Naruto that fought in the war to save us and now you guys can't save him. It rubbed him the wrong way, plus he may not admit it but he was jealous of them. He may not seem like the type but he wanted love.

Naruto was the only one who came close to giving him that but now the blond was nowhere to be found. And it wasn't like he could tell anyone, Naruto was still rogue and the blond looked like he had no interest in coming back. When he came back from boarder patrol he slumped into bed for a nap. "I think that's enough time," Naruto muttered to himself as he tossed a Hidden Cloud headband in his hand. He had just stuck a deal with his good friends, it was nice to see Bee standing up for him.

He was now a secret member of the Hidden Cloud. He looked at the white headband and smiled. If he was going to be a nomad he needed a little incentive to keep Tsunade off his back. He has come to terms that he will never be Hokage, it didn't matter. Life was short, the war told him that. He wanted to be like his godfather. A traveler of sorts, he wanted to see the world at his own pace and he needed a little company along the way. 

With him being a member of the Hidden Cloud that extended to any party he considered family. Shikamaru was his soon to be family so that he wouldn't have worry about the Hidden Leaf coming after him. He tied the headband around his neck and it sat beside his Leaf rogue headband.

Back to his raven, he must be getting impatient. 

Third Stage: Deprive Him. 

This ensures that they cling to you when you are around and less likely to leave your side. It is even better if they love you. Naruto chuckled as he pulled out a three prong kunai. His father was indeed useful.

Naruto waited patiently for Shikamaru to come to the clearing, he couldn't enter his home this time. His mother and father were home and He knew Shikaku had perfect sensory skills. He wouldn't chance it, he was already chancing it by being here so often.

He didn't have to wait long and was rewarded with an angry raven who was cursing as he made his way to the clearing. Naruto listened amused with the weird set of curse words. He saw the Nara appear in a set of loose clothing and Naruto knew he was pushing a button.

"Miss me?" Naruto called from his position in the trees. Shikamaru paused and looked up. Naruto snorted in amusement as he saw him smile. 

Not the best method but the most effective. Maybe in the afterlife he'll apologize to him. He jumped down and caught Shikamaru who threw himself at him. They stayed in each other's embrace and reveled in the warmth they felt. Shikamaru pulled back with a pout on his lips and Naruto realized how out of character Shikamaru has been since he broke him. It was a bit weird but it was Shikamaru he can accept him anyway he acts.

"Where did you go," Shikamaru asked and his eyes zeroed in on the new headband.

"I went to get an incentive from the Hidden Cloud, now with this I can travel freely and so can anyone I deem family. I was busy getting this so I didn't have time to come see you. I'm sorry if it looked like I abandoned you." Naruto said softly as he kissed Shika's forehead.

"So we as Leaf shinobi can't take you in because your a Hidden Cloud citizen," Shikamaru said as he gazed at the headband. Naruto nodded.

"I just want to travel the world at my own pace and I can't do that with Leaf on my ass. I'll still have to be careful but this method works out as well. I did this for us, if you were ever worried about them chasing us now they can't." He explained, Shikamaru nodded numbly.

He wanted to throw a fit, Naruto was putting his all effort to make him feel comfortable with coming with him and here he was stumbling over his feet. He looked up with determination. "Give me a month, I'll come with you." He blushed at the smile that over took Naruto face, it was so breathtaking against the moonlight.

He stood on his toes and kissed him, Naruto was surprised but returned it with a passion. He gripped the Nara's neck as he felt nimble fingers run through his hair. Naruto smirked and increased his hold on the slightly tanned neck. He wanted more, so much more. Shikamaru was loving the feeling of Naruto limiting his air supply he trusted the blond not to do anything drastic to harm him.

"Shikamaru careful, I feel like taking you." Naruto mumbled as he licked the raven's lips. Shikamaru blushed at the direct approach of Naruto. He trembled with excitement and pulled back. He pulled Naruto to the nearest tree. Naruto was confused as Shikamaru bent over ass pressed against his cock.
