A/N- This is more of a filler chapter, so it's really short. Sorry. I'm trying to update this as much as I can, but school is really stressful. Ugh. But I hope you enjoy the chapter!

Magnus POV

It had been three days since Alex moved in. I hadn't talked to him since the day he showed up. I mean, why would we? I took online classes, and who knew what he did in his free time. It was fine by me.

But Blitz kept telling me to talk to Alex. "Go make a friend. Plus, he seems your age. You need to get out more considering the situation" he always told me. I also had plenty of friends! I had Blitz, Hearth, umm.. There was this one kid in second grade.. Ok. I guess I didn't have any friends. But I didn't even need them. Who needs others when you have yourself?

It was a Saturday, so I took off time from school. It was early, so I was pretty sure Blitz and Hearth were still sleeping. I probably had an hour or two before they woke up. I grabbed my coat, and slipped on my tennis shoes.I was still in my pajamas, but I honestly didn't care. I just wanted to get out of the apartment for a bit.

Ever since I met Alex, I went outside more. I wasn't sure exactly why, but he had this odd persona about him. Like he was something foreign and new. And I don't think it was just the green hair.

It was a cold morning. A fresh layer of white, fluffy snow laid on the ground. My shoes left faint footprints on the sidewalk I was walking upon. I breathed in the cool air, letting it envelop my lungs. I closed my eyes for a minute, strengthening my other senses.

I could hear the sweet sound of birds chirping and the wind blowing past my ear. Warm rays of sunshine hit my skin as the sun began to rise. I shivered from the cold, clenching my hands in my coat pockets. I opened my eyes once more, and I just felt more alive.

When I arrived back at the apartment, I opened the door to find Blitz and Hearth making out in the kitchen. I groaned, and Blitz pulled apart from Hearth. Both of their cheeks were flushed as they realized I was standing there. I cleared my throat, and put up my hands in surrender.

"Hey, Magnus. You're back." Blitz said awkwardly as I approached them. I grabbed an apple and nodded my head, smirking. They usually didn't show it, but they were a really touchy couple.

I waved bye, walking towards my room. I turned back to them and signed, Carry on, while winking. Hearth just blushed and looked down awkwardly. Blitz rolled his eyes at me. I chuckled.

I sat down on my bed, finding a note on my pillow. It was addressed to me, so I hesitantly grabbed it.

"Meet me by the fountain in the park? I'd like to get to know you better. This is NOTa date. -Alex"

Huh. So Alex wanted to hang out with me? It couldn't be the worst thing in the world. I read the note again, admiring his seemingly perfect writing. I smiled to myself. I guess I was going outside again.

This time I made sure to actually get dressed. I put on a simple blue tee shirt and dark jeans. Then I threw on my red converse and my pendant. I went to the bathroom and combed my hair, looking at my outfit. I didn't look like complete trash, so I guess that was good.

I headed back to the door yelling, "I'll be back soon!" in hopes that Blitz would hear me. I closed the door behind me, hearing a muffled ok from inside.

The park was a really short walk, and I soon arrived at the fountain. And there he was. When I saw his green hair and pink clothes, my smile immediately got brighter. 

A/N- So there's the chapter. I promise the next on will be longer and maybe some Fierrochase? Idk.
