"I'm not mad, maybe slightly disappointed but you can come to me about anything idiot."

Juwon's POV

19 years since Jimin's death, Monday, 2:40pm.

"I hope you enjoyed my lecture, I try to make it more exciting as I learnt from my favourite middle school teacher that your originality can always leave an impression." Our lecturer Namjoon called out.

Everyone around me started to pack up but I smiled as a familiar woman lent against the table beside me.

"Wasn't he interesting," She commented with a smile as I looked up at her.

I stood up, pecking her lips before throwing my full bag over my left shoulder.

"He was, for once I didn't fall asleep." I commented, my voice husky, similar to one of my dad's while I looked more like the other one.

Then I draped my arm over her shoulder as we exited the room.

"Am I coming around to your house this evening babe?" I asked as we headed towards our cars.

"My parent's have invited your parents (though they don't know there's just one yet) and you around for dinner." She said calmly to me.

Only I stopped walking as my eyes widened.

She turned around to look at me.

"What?" She asked with a soft giggle.

"My dad doesn't even know I have a girlfriend. He doesn't even know I'm not gay." I stumbled.

"So what? He will love my parents. Don't be a pussy and come alone, my parents would be disappointed." She coed as she got closer to me.

She kissed me more passionately now, her arms draping across my shoulders as I held her waist between my large slender fingers.

She pulled back, allowing for me to stare into her deep brown doe eyes.

"Do your parent's even remember my name?" I asked while cocking my eyebrow.

"God no, they stumble over your name every time you enter our house. They keep wanting to call you a different name, but my father is busy working a lot and my mother's stubborn so we can't really blame them for forgetting." She muttered.

I nodded before pecking her lips one more time.

"I will get him to come then." I hummed while letting go of her waist.

"Good, I look forward to meeting him." She stated while heading to her car which was parked beside mine.

"See you later tonight." I hummed before getting inside.

She gave me a small wave as I pulled out of the parking lot.

I drove home, deep in thought as I pulled up our driveway.

I got out of the car with my belongings, entering our house with a key.

Once I made it down the hallway and into the living room, I saw my father sitting on the couch, watching TV.

His hair had started to grow grey hairs now and he had a moustache perched upon his upper lip.

I threw my bag down on the couch beside him, getting his attention while heading into the kitchen to make myself a coffee.

"Have plans later?" I asked him as he turned the TV off, standing up with a cup in his hand to put in the dishwasher.

"No, why?" Taehyung asked me, his deep voice noticeable.

"We've both been invited to my friend's house for dinner." I replied, looking up at Taehyung while sipping some hot coffee.

I'm just going to avoid the fact she's my girlfriend for a bit until I need to tell him.

My father stood close to me, looking back down at me.

His radiant golden eyes were peeking out between his dark black and grey hair.

"Why am I invited?" He asked curiously.

"Because normally parents should interact with other parents when their kids are friends." I stated while wiping away some coffee that had run down my plumper lip.

"Plus you have to come, you don't work at the bar anymore so you don't interact with anyone as much when you became a permanent caretaker of me. You need to think about going off the benefit too because I am 19, you need to get back out there in the world again." I muttered.

"I am going out in the world still, I go to the supermarket and also we go surfing every weekend." Taehyung fired back.

"But do you ever go out with friends? Let me answer for you, no. Do you even have any other friends other than Hoseok anymore? What even happened to him? I haven't seen you both hanging out for about a year." I stated before finishing the rest of my coffee.

"He's gone travelling, plus he's met a woman overseas that he's starting a life with so we only really call and text now. But fine, I will come but if I'm uncomfortable, I will leave." Taehyung mumbled.

I smiled as he left the room.

Monday, 6:00pm.

Dad and I arrived at my girlfriend's house and I just rang the doorbell.

I stood in front of the wooden door in light blue ripped jeans, a white singlet, a oversized black jacket and white sneakers.

My father stood in a woolen long sleeve white shirt, white sneakers and black jeans.

He still looked as handsome as he did in his twenties; I know because I've been through every photo of him and my dad together.

"Also, I lied." I mumbled while looking at my dad.

His eyes widened.

"Lied about what?" He snapped.

"We're actually having dinner with my girlfriend's parents and my girlfriend." I explained.

"Your not gay?" He gasped.

"No." I replied while hearing footsteps approaching the door.

"How long have you been with her?" Taehyung asked calmly again.

"A year. I normally come to her house after school but you never asked me who I was with so I never bothered to tell you, also because I thought you may be mad." I hummed.

"I'm not mad, maybe slightly disappointed but you can come to me about anything idiot." My dad whined while tapping the top of my shoulder.

I smiled looking up at him while the door opened.

"Hi."

I turned and smiled while seeing my girlfriend at the door.

Her curly brown hair fell down to her waist as she wore a basic white T-shirt and grey baggy jeans.

Her eye make up was a gorgeous smoking brown colour while she had a cute purple headband in her locks of hair.

"Never mind, I definitely approve." My dad muttered as I hugged her while entering.

"Hi." She greeted again to my dad as we walked inside her house, heading into the living room.

"I will go get my parent's" She told me excitedly, kissing my cheek before exiting the room.

"Juwon, what is her name?" My dad asked.

"Why?" I questioned as I saw he had his back to me.

"Because why do they have a photo of your dad in their house?" He asked.

My eyes widened as I walked over to look at a photo on the window sill.

And sure enough, there was a photo of Jimin smiling widely sitting on their window sill.

"We better not be related to them, I have hit that girl deep so many times." I choked out.

Taehyung hit my arm looking at me.

"What? It's true." I whined while rubbing my arm.

"Her name's Bora." I told him shortly after.

Taehyung's hazel eyes widened as soon as he turned around.

Bora's parents entered with Bora as Taehyung stared at her parents.

Her dad wore some baggy black sweatpants and an oversized black hoodie while her mother wore a nice basic summery blue dress.

"These are my parent's." She said happily.

Bora yelped as her dad pushed her aside, storming right over to my dad.

For a second I thought he was going to punch my dad but instead he tightly wrapped his arms around him, pulling him in a tight embrace.

So we are related?

"I always knew it! Our baby's are gonna get married someday!" Hayoon, Bora's mother squealed.

For the first time in a while, I saw my dad genuinely smile as Jungkook, Bora's dad, pulled back from the hug.

"As soon as you quit working at the bar, I completely lost contact with you. I didn't realise I didn't even have your number and you never bothered to visit after everything happened." Jungkook stated.

Were they work mates?

But why do they have my dad's picture on the window sill?

"I'm confused, how do you know each other and why is there a photo of my dad on your window sill?" I questioned.

"What do you mean? We only keep a photo of my dad's best friend on the window sill?" Bora asked while walking over to me.

"Jungkook's best friend was your dad. That's why when I saw the photo, I asked for her name because either you'd brought me into Jungkook's house, Jimin's ex's house or one of Jimin's family members' houses but only we both keep in touch with your uncle, Jihyun." My dad explained.

"No way." I gasped.

"Well I'm glad we aren't related." Bora coed softly as she rested her head on my shoulder.

I wrapped my arm around the back of her lower waist while smiling.

"Do you still work at the bar?" Taehyung asked Jungkook.

"Yes." He responded with a nod.

"Maybe I will have to try to work there again." Taehyung commented.

I nodded while smiling as everyone grinned.

"How about we eat dinner before it gets cold, it seems we all have a lot of catching up to do." Hayoon stated.

We all agreed, heading into the kitchen.

It seems that fate has a way of working it's magic to bring people who were caught up over a piece of me together... Only the future is just beginning... So who knows what else could happen... I guess we just have to live our lives to the fullest to be able to see where the story concludes...

THE END OF PIECE OF ME - VMIN!

AU - I hope yal have enjoyed Piece of me - Vmin.

I'm still deciding right now if I do a Jikook book where the setting is like swimming races or if I do kinda like a naughty student and tutor book with a BTS ship tho if one of yal wanna read one of those, I'm happy to hear which you may like for me to write and if ya choose the student and tutor one, I'm open to hearing ship suggestions.

Also feel free to add this book to ya libraries, show it some support, vote on the chapters. Anything would be amazing.

But this is the end so I really hope you did enjoy, even a part of this book.

Also I recommend reading my other books. My other best one is called Polar Opposite and it's a Vmin book.

Anyways, take care, stay safe and stay healthy my lovelies... Until my next book, byeeeeee
