Taehyung's POV

Once the doctor left, I walked over to Jimin, sitting back down where I sat the whole procedure while waiting for the baby to be born.

Jihyun moved the curtain, making sure Jimin's shirt was down while waiting for him to wake up.

"Jimin-ah." Jihyun called while clicking his fingers in front of his face.

"Can you not, I'm tired." I heard leave his lips.

I laughed while running my slender hand over our baby's tummy.

I leaned over to kiss Jimin's cheek before speaking, "Don't you want to see our baby?" I coed.

Jimin's eyes opened instantly before he sat up.

"Jimin, slow down. You just had surgery." Jihyun muttered as I watched Jimin raise his hand, lifting up his shirt.

A line of stitching ran across his stomach.

Then his head turned to the side.

He smiled while seeing me but grinned wider seeing the baby between my hands, wrapped up in a towel.

"He's so cute." Jimin squealed happily.

"May I hold him?" Jimin asked me eagerly.

"Of course, he's our baby, you don't even need to ask because I was going to give him to you." I replied before carefully lifting the baby over into his arms.

I could see the tears sparkling in his eyes as he looked down at our baby in his hands.

"He's gorgeous." Jimin gasped while running his smaller index finger over the baby's soft cheek.

"He's more delicate than I expected." I replied.

"Are we sticking with the name?" Jimin asked me.

"Ooo, what name did you pick?" Jihyun asked excitedly when the baby started to cry.

"Actually, we both didn't choose it." Jimin replied while looking at Jihyun.

Jihyun looked confused as he raised his eyebrow.

"One of my students came up with it. It just feels right to call him Juwon." Jimin replied and I nodded my head in agreement.

"Well Juwon is very cute." Jihyun replied.

"Namjoon's gonna be super excited." Jimin snickered while looking at me.

I laughed while nodding.

"Jimin-ah, I hope you don't mind but I let the specialist doctor hold the baby a little while we were waiting for you to wake up." I told him.

"Oh, that's fine. I would like to thank the specialist doctor myself though." Jimin muttered.

"Want me to go find him?" Jihyun asked.

Jimin nodded before watching Jihyun disappear out the door.

"Shall I take a photo of you holding Juwon and then you taking a photo of me and Juwon?" I suggested.

Jimin nodded while smiling as he rested his back, back against the headboard.

I stood up, taking my phone out of my pocket, clicking a few photos of Jimin holding Juwon before swapping.

Once we were done taking photos, I sat down on the bed beside Jimin with Juwon in my arms before pecking Jimin's cheek.

"I can't believe this." Jimin mumbled quietly while resting his head against my shoulder as he looked at Juwon.

"I can, I now have the love of my life beside me, and our own baby in my arms, it's like a miracle," I started.

"I'm so lucky to have you both." I hummed while making eye contact with Jimin.

"How long have I been out for?" Jimin then asked me.

"Probably an hour." I replied and he nodded.

I leaned down, pecking Jimin's lips before deepening the kiss.

He held my head gently between his hands as our tongues mingled, our eyes closing.

Jimin hummed against my lips before I pulled back.

"Has Jungkook, Hayoon, Hoseok and Bora been in to see the baby." Jimin softly asked me while stretching his arms above his head.

"No." I replied.

After a bit of silence I spoke up again.

"I was thinking that when Jihyun returned with the specialist doctor, he could go get the others to come in but he doesn't seem to be coming back." I muttered.

"How about you go show them Juwon? Then they could see me afterwards because right now I'm comfortable just laying in bed." Jimin responded.

"Are you okay with that?" I questioned and he nodded.

"I want them to see our baby so please go, just make sure you bring them back here to see me after." Jimin lightly told me.

I kissed his cheek, getting up from the bed with Juwon still in my arms.

"Tae," Jimin coed before I got to the door.

"Yeah?" I responded while turning back to face Jimin.

His gorgeous black hair perfectly framed his face while his lips looked luscious and plump from kissing him minutes ago.

His glossy brown eyes glowed with happiness and his pink tipped nose made him look adorable as he sat on the bed.

"I love you, and our baby." Jimin stated.

I grinned while looking down at our baby.

So far, all I can see is Jimin in our baby, he's absolutely gorgeous, just not as gorgeous as my boyfriend yet.

"I love you too and our baby." I replied, making Jimin's lips curve upwards, my heart racing while looking at his stunning smile.

Then I used one of my hands to open the door, leaving the room Jimin gave birth in.

"Oh my god!" Hayoon squealed as soon as I turned around.

I cocked my eyebrow confused to see Jungkook, Hayoon, Bora and Hoseok all outside the door, along with the doctor crying against Hoseok's shoulder and Jihyun patting the doctors back.

"What's going on?" I asked while feeling confused as Hayoon just had her attention on Juwon.

"Babe, give Taehyung some space please." Jungkook directed.

"Oh, you both are a couple?" I heard the doctor gasp while moving away from my best friend.

How does he even know my best friend well enough to cry against him?

Then the doctor's eyes fell on me before he looked away.

He looked ashamed, confused maybe?

"Again, what's going on? Jimin's seriously been waiting, Jihyun what's going on?" I asked again while still feeling confused.

"He's refusing to go in, I'm sorry for taking a while." Jihyun stated while turning to face me.

That's when my best friend turned to face me.

"Remember how I was best friends with Jimin's ex almost 2 years ago? And remember how he was a doctor?" Hoseok asked me.

That's when it all clicked.

My lips parted as I stared at the doctor who refused to look at me.

I knew I'd seen him before, I knew it just I didn't know where.

Even his story aligned with Jimin's...

And what's worse, is I'm going to have to tell Jimin that I let his ex hold our baby and I don't know how understanding Jimin is going to be.

He's not even going to be understanding as soon as he sees him.

He just gave birth to our child and it's a miracle but now he's unaware that he's going to have to face his ex.

I was just speechless. No words came out of my mouth as I just stared blankly at the specialist doctor.

As I held a piece of me between my arms, I felt miserable for what my other half is now going to have to face...

AU - Welp, now Taehyung know's... Thoughts? I think I'm gonna have 2 more chapters for Piece of me - Vmin, then I'm gonna have the epilogue and then I may have 1 more chapter where I show ya a flash into the future. But also... They chose an original name so they went with Namjoon's choice... Super cute!
