Jimin's POV

Friday, week 10 of Jimin's pregnancy, 4:30pm.

I lay down on a medical bed while Taehyung sat beside me, we both had our masks pulled down while waiting for someone to enter the room.

A nurse then promptly entered the room wearing a mask, her dark black silky hair flowing down her side by her breasts.

"Hi, I'm Jiha, I will be taking your first ultrasound for you. A specialist doctor was supposed to take your appointment but there was an emergency that he had to deal with, however if you have any problems, I'm sure sometime he can be made available for you both to talk too." The nurse greeted us as she walked into the room.

"Not a problem." I responded.

"I haven't had any issues, have you?" Taehyung asked while looking at me.

I shook my head in response.

"Alright then," The nurse hummed with a smile.

She didn't ask us to put our masks on properly? Oh well...

"I will get you to pull your shirt up a bit for me." Jiha instructed.

I pulled my shirt up for her, and she started to put some gel on my stomach.

"Have you had any problems with your pregnancy so far? Any allergic reactions to medication or vitamins that you have been taking?" The nurse asked me.

"No." I responded.

"That's good." She hummed.

I smiled as I felt Taehyung's hand slip into mine, giving my hand a squeeze.

I looked over at Taehyung, his lip was bit as he looked down, his dark hair falling in front of his eyes.

Taehyung has been super excited about our baby but I've noticed since this morning that Taehyung's mood has completely changed.

"Are you okay?" I asked Taehyung lightly.

He looked up at me, our eyes connecting as he gave me a reassuring smile.

"Yes, I'm just more nervous then I expected I'd be," Taehyung responded.

"I didn't know how I'd feel being able to see my own baby like this so I guess there's just a lot I'm processing." Taehyung continued before looking back down.

My eyes softened as I continued looking at my boyfriend.

I've never seen Taehyung emotional before but I can sense his emotions are spiralling right now.

I looked back at the nurse as I felt her press the cold plastic toggle to my stomach.

"Would you both want pictures printed? The first ones you order are free." The lady explained to me while running the toggle over my stomach.

"Yes please." I responded to the woman.

The woman stopped before pulling the screen around from the bed so that I and Taehyung could see when he looked up.

She then continued running the toggle against my belly while looking at the screen.

"Here we are." The nurse announced.

I could feel movement from beside me, and I knew Taehyung had looked up.

My heart raced as I took a deep breath while seeing a grey and white fuzzed out shape of Taehyung and I's baby appear on the screen.

A smile drew on my face from ear to ear while I felt butterflies zoom through my stomach.

I watched as the lady did something else, probably took photos of our baby.

I looked over at Taehyung because he seemed too silent.

His gorgeous, dreamy brown eyes glistened beneath some strands of his hair.

His lips were turned upwards while some silent tears slipped down his rosy cheeks, the tip of his nose turning a subtle red.

Tears blurred my eyes to his soft reaction while my heart beat harder in my chest.

I softly squeezed Taehyung's warm hand in mine, seeing his eyes were glued to the screen until I intertwined our fingers.

Taehyung's glossy eyes fell upon me, his upper lip was hitched from crying.

He put his head down, running his free large hand across his eyes to wipe away the tears.

Some hot tears trickled down my cheeks as emotions demolished me.

I'm seriously having our baby...

I'm seriously having a baby, one I've always dreamed of having with the love of my life...

"I'll go get you both some tissues." The nurse said before disappearing out of the room.

"Come here." I whined while opening my arms up to Taehyung.

Taehyung got up from where he sat now that our hands weren't intertwined before leaning down over the bed to hug me against my chest where my shirt was still covered.

As soon as I felt the warmth of Taehyung's body against mine, his cries became a bit louder.

I wrapped my arms tightly around his back while he cried against my neck while I enjoyed the embrace.

I ran my hand soothingly up and down his simple black shirt while tears dried on my cheeks.

"I love you." I hummed in Taehyung's ear as his crying became more calm.

I pecked his cheek while he sniffled against my neck.

"I love you too and our baby." Taehyung murmured while pulling back from the hug a bit so that I could see his handsome face.

"Aw baby." I coed while wiping away a couple hot tears from his cheeks.

Taehyung then leaned down, capturing my lips against his.

Our kiss was slow and passionate as his rougher hands cupped the back of my head while gently playing with my hair.

Our eyes had fluttered closed while his masculine cologne circled the air around us.

My hands gripped the cuff of his black shirt, pulling him closer to me.

My body tingled from his force against my lips before he ran his tongue across my lips before pulling back from the kiss.

Our eyes met while Taehyung stood up straight, pulling his hands from under my head away so that my head rested on the bed again.

I giggled as a goofy smile appeared on Taehyung's lips while he ruffled up my dark locks of hair between his skinny fingers.

The nurse then came back with a box of tissues, reaching it across the bed for us to grab, "Here you go, seeing your baby can be quite an emotional experience." The nurse added.

We both took a tissue and blew our noses while the nurse wrote down a number on a piece of paper.

"If you take this to the counter, you can pick up the photo of your ultrasound." The nurse stated while wiping the gel off my stomach with some disposable cloths.

"Thank you." I said with a smile while pulling down my shirt.

"Not a problem, have a lovely day." The nurse called while Taehyung helped me off the bed.

Then we exited the room, pulling up our masks with the paper to get our ultrasound photo from the front desk.

I also put on a baggy T-shirt so that I could hide my pregnant stomach more from the general public.

The other day when I walked to my car after work on a hot day, some people gave me a few stares because of my stomach bulging from beneath my shirt.

Of course it just looks like a skinny person maybe has a massive beer belly or something but I have definitely had odd looks.

I just can't wrack my head around the fact that my pregnancy is actually happening. The fact I get a mini piece of Taehyung forever is wonderful, and the fact that Taehyung gets a mini piece of me is so comforting...

AU - Cuteeee! Thoughts? Also I just booked my first driving lesson with an actual instructor... Ahhh I'm nervous for that dayyyyy!
