Jimins POV

I woke up to the light feeling of someone's warm breath on my neck.

My eyes opened slowly, focusing on the man in bed beside me.

Taehyung lay naked with his arm wrapped over my shoulder. His long brunette hair flopping onto the pillow.

I smiled seeing his lips steadily breathing before I shuffled over closer to him, wrapping my arms around him while hiding my head against his chest.

A grin formed on my lips as I felt his large hand reach up to the back of my head, playing with my blonde hair between his fingers.

"Did you sleep okay?" I whispered looking up at his face.

My eyes scanned up his golden tanned skin.

His brown golden eyes glowed as I looked at them.

"Of course, I slept next to my boyfriend all night so I slept fantastically." Taehyung coed leaning forward to peck my lips.

I beamed happily while he ran his hand up and down my bare back, us facing towards each other on the bed.

"I really don't want to go home today." I whispered pouting while I stretched my body out.

"I don't want you to go either. I mean, I know I've been ditching work all week and I probably need money, but I like having you here." Taehyung told me running his hand over my cheek.

My cheeks started to heat up.

"Please come back sometime. I will try go there though." Taehyung told me.

"It's okay. You never have to go where I live but I will definitely come back sometime I promise. I also just need to make a bit more money again." I told Taehyung and he nodded.

I groaned hearing Jungkook knocking on the sleep out glass door.

"What?" I yelled sitting up in bed.

"Make sure you are packed. We are leaving at 10:30am." Jungkook instructed before walking away.

"Damn you are leaving this morning?" Taehyung gasped pouting while he sat up.

"Yeah but I will come back, I promise." I said intertwining our fingers.

A soft charming smile appeared on his lips before he leaned over kissing me.

"I will head home and shower then come back before you leave alright?" Taehyung confirmed with me as he got out of bed.

"Alright." I muttered looking over his bare muscular back while he pulled on boxers and sweatpants.

He turned back to face me. A small smile on his lips.

"What?" I asked smiling back while running a hand through my hair.

"Nothing. I'm just happy. You make me happy." Taehyung said sitting back down on my bed, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me closer to him.

I giggle resting my head against his strong shoulder.

"You make me happy too." I coed kissing his neck.

However when I looked up at his face, his smile had disappeared.

"One night while I was at the beach, I took a young girl body boarding, she was so eagar to learn," Taehyung told me while he looked down at his hands.

"She was alone, her parents weren't on the beach. I didn't even know her name but she handed me the payment super eagarly," Taehyung continued.

"She got super good at body boarding that she came back the next night. I'd watch and help her. She was probably 9 years old, but that same night, I was unfortunate enough to watch a shark come up from behind her," Taehyung said biting his bottom lip.

His eyes glazed over with tears.

"Taehyung, you don't need to tell me, it's okay." I said rubbing my hand up and down his back.

"No, I want to talk about it. It's been so long since I've felt comfortable enough to talk to someone about this. Plus I said I would tell you, and it also would give you a good idea of why I'm so caught up on it." Taehyung told me wiping his eyes.

"I looked away for 2 seconds, waving to her parents because she was showing off the second night and I realized she was proud and showing her parents what she could do," Taehyung continued.

"But as soon as I looked back, I saw the sea was blood red, my ankles were covered in the little girls blood," Taehyung said covering his eyes with his hands.

"I pulled her out, but about an hour later, she died from blood loss." Taehyung cried out.

I instantly wrapped my arms around him, pulling his head against my chest as he cried.

"That's an awful thing to witness." I croaked out.

"It was awful. I lost appreciation for the sea from the accident. It took me a couple weeks before I could look at it and not see danger or her blood. I think Hoseok had to grab me and put me in the water during the day to show me it wouldn't hurt me." Taehyung said looking at me again, pain showing across his face.

"I'm pretty sure I just stood there in the water yelling blood at that point until Hoseok managed to remind me that water isn't red, and that blood isn't the only liquid in the world." Taehyung stated.

"I felt like I failed, after that point. I decided I would never go in the sea at night and I'd stop anyone who does. If they refused then I'd watch them non stop, no distractions, just to make sure they were okay." Taehyung told me.

"Is that the reason you approached me in the sea the first night?" I questioned.

He nodded slowly.

"Many people here know not to go into the water at night, so it's only the odd few. But yes, that was originally why I approached you. However I was glad I bumped into you because I did want to see you." Taehyung told me and I nodded.

I glanced at the time on my phone which read 10am, thus indicating Taehyung should think about leaving soon if he intends to come back.

"Anyways, I should be back in a bit." Taehyung told me pulling his shirt on as I let go of him.

"Taehyung." I managed to get out as he stood by the door.

He looked back over his shoulder at me while raising his eyebrow, "I'm glad you felt safe enough to tell me." I hummed.

He smiled at me nodding before he left the sleep out.

I couldn't imagine how horrifying it would be to witness one of my students die in front of me.

You definitely create a bond with them, you watch them learn, progress and master things.

It makes sense why Taehyungs so court up by this tragedy...

I got dressed before packing my suitcase.

I opened the sleep out door for Jungkook as he brought me some left over pizza for breakfast that he bought last night for Hayoon and him for dinner.

I stood eating it as his eyes scanned the room.

"Taehyung didn't stay?" He questioned.

"He did. He's gone home to shower. He will be back to say goodbye though." I hummed finishing the pizza.

Jungkook smiled.

"Anything happen?" He asked curiously waving his shoulders up and down with a smirk while I choked on some pizza.

"That's too much information for you to know." I muttered slapping his arm.

"Hey, I'm just wondering if when you get in the car, whether your rump may start hurting." Jungkook stated while I picked up my suitcase, walking past him as I ignored him.

I stuck it in the boot of Jungkooks car before I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I beamed as I saw Taehyung in his wetsuit, only he wore it halfway up with a grey singlet showing off his golden arms, muscles and strong shoulders.

"Hey." He said softly making me melt.

"Alright wrap it up so we don't end up saying here without a place to sleep." Jungkook stated as Hayoon got in the car.

I sighed looking at my watch saying it was now 10:30am.

Jungkook also got in the car giving Taehyung and I some privacy.

"Promise to call me when you get home?" Taehyung asked while running a hand through his dark hair.

"Of course." I said nodding.

He smiled softly, a bit of sadness coming through his smile.

I stepped closer to him, wrapping my arms around him, pulling him in a tight embrace.

Taehyung wrapped his arms around me too, his warm body pressed against mine.

"I will miss you." I whispered as I felt tears in my eyes.

I know I won't be separated from him forever, but I truly will miss him.

He's given me love and happiness while I've been here.

I truly don't want to leave.

"I will miss you too Jiminie." Taehyung whispered kissing my forehead gently.

"I promise I will work hard here then move there to be with you Jimin-ah, I promise we won't always be separate." Taehyung told me as he lifted my chin up to look at him.

I nodded biting my lip nervously.

Taehyung swiftly leaned down kissing my lips passionately.

A piece of me needs you by my side, I hope you keep your promises. I hope we see each other again soon. Little do I know what piece of you I already have inside of me, and not just in my heart...

AU - I'm back! Is my siblings birthday today though but has been chill enough for me to write. Also I hope Jin, RM and Suga are okay having covid-19. Poor them. They should be okay but still, awwww. It's a shame they have it among others in the world. I can't wait for the day it hopefully goes away...
