Dean bounced up and down nervously.
"Dude, calm down," Sam said, putting a hand on Dean's shoulder.
"I'm getting married, Sam, I don't know what calm means!" Dean exclaimed. Sam smiled.
"I still can't believe you let Gabriel be the flower girl," Sam commented.
"He had Cas on his side, I wasn't going to say no to Cas," Dean defended himself.
"But the guy is already a bridesmaid. And if he tries to make out with me one more time, I will blame you, and don't think I won't," Sam said. Dean grinned.
"You have to give the guy points for persistence," Dean said. Sam just rolled his eyes.
Cas was positively radiant as he walked up the aisle in his white suit, and Dean couldn't help but beam like an idiot as he saw the love of his life walking towards him. Dean heard Sam trying not to laugh next to him, presumably because of the flower crown Cas was wearing - probably either Charlie's or Gabe's idea. Dean knew Cas was disappointed that his father had refused to walk him down the aisle, but in that moment, Cas didn't seem to mind, and Dean didn't mind that his own father had refused to attend, because all he needed was Cas. Cas was all that mattered. Cas was all that had ever mattered.
"Gabe, I swear to god, if you try to kiss me-"
"But my Samsquatch is just too irresistible," Gabriel cooed.
"I'm gonna go find Jess," Sam said, casting Gabriel an annoyed look before walking across the reception hall. Dean smiled.
"I don't think you're going to get him, Gabe," he said.
"Nonsense! Sam Winchester will be gay yet!" Gabriel exclaimed, taking off after Sam. Cas giggled.
"Your family is insane, Cas, I hope you're aware of that," Dean said, pulling Cas close. Cas shifted uncomfortably.
"What's wrong?" Dean asked.
"I.... I'm still ashamed, Dean. What if Naomi had killed you?" Cas whispered.
"Hey, hey, don't think about that. That's behind us, she's locked up now. Just enjoy the reception, angel," Dean kissed Cas on the top of the head.
"Okay. Okay, I will," Cas replied. Dean grinned.
"Dean, I still don't know how to dance," Cas whispered when they stood on the dance floor.
"That's fine, Cas, I suck too. We'll be adorably bad together, how about that?" Dean replied. Cas smiled.
"I don't think I'd mind that," he said as the music started.
People were starting to leave, and Dean was glad. The day had been nothing short of amazing, but he was ready to get on that plane and start the honeymoon. He still couldn't believe he was married. Dean twisted the ring around his finger, admiring the way it glinted in the light.
"Having second thoughts?" Cas teased, slipping his arm through Dean's and resting his chin on Dean's shoulder. Dean smiled.
"Never."
