I think this strikes true with quite a bit of people. Like me for example.

I don't like myself. I can't remember a time when I liked myself. But when I talk to a very certain someone that will go unnamed for now, I love them so much that I forget what it's like to hate myself. Even if it's just for a few minutes.

That's what love is. When you're with someone that you love so much that you forget your flaws.
