Here I am standing next to you as you sleep. You look beautiful as always and you look so peaceful. Your soft gold hair brought out of it's usual hair style. Your pinkish lips that let out a few air. Your small petite body, calm and relaxed.  

I grabbed one of your hand gently and slowly to not wake you up from your slumber. Raising it up to my lips as I gave it a small peck. A kiss to the back of the hand. I let go of your hand and took the white soft blanket and covered you to protect you from the night's cold air.

I smile gently as I see you like this. Seeing you while sleeping is something I pretty much like though at the same time it scares me. It scares me that you might be gone from this world with how peaceful you look. It scares me too much that I have to make sure that every night you're still here, alive and breathing.

' Lady Felt, you really should close the windows. You might get sick from the cold air. '

I gently closed the window beside her bed before going out of her room, not after having one last glance at her. I walked down the long hallway which will lead me to my room. It was cold and not because of the cold breeze but because of the loneliness I felt.

I've lived here ever since I was an infant and grew up handling swords. I had a certain emotion that I didn't knew about that I keep hiding. I didn't knew what it was until I met her.

Having Lady Felt's presence around made me realize that I was lonely. I wanted someone to be with. Even though I have friends, Julius and Ferris and now Subaru, they all feel so distant. My family members all seems to be far away. I've reached my room then went to bed immediately. I closed my eyes as I relaxed.

It was fate wasn't it?

It was fate that brought me to her.

That day, that time, that moment.

It was fate that I've heard her cry.

It was fate that she bumped to me.

It was fate that I was the one she bumped into.

It was fate when I saw the glowing insignia on her palm.

It was fate that connected us.

There is no other explanation.

Then was it fate that I fell in love with her?

My eyes snapped wide open with that line of thought.

' What was that?'

What in the actual world was that?

' Me? A noble? Royalty? There's no fucking way!!!'

' No! I hate them! Nobles? They disgust me! Knights? They're assholes!'

' I do respect a few knights and nobles and...'

She blushed a beautiful shade of pink.

' Y- you're one of them.... B- but don't get the wrong idea!!!'

Her cute blushing face.

' I'm not blushing!!!'

Her wide grin.

' Hmph! I'll show those hypocrites whose boss!'

Her cheeky smile.

' Thanks a bunch Reinhard!'

Her sparkling red eyes.

' Woah! This is awesome!'

Her gold hair.

' Hey! Stop petting me!'

Her enchanting voice.

' Reinhard van Astrea!'

My heart is beating too fast. My body is shaking. My breathing speed up. All because of those memories of her... Of Lady Felt...

' I.... See.....'

I smiled, now realizing what was that weird feeling I've been having ever since I've laid my eyes on her.

' I love her.'

I closed my eyes and relaxed once again and before I let the darkness consume me.

' I love Lady Felt, my Queen.'

With that I let myself fall asleep.
