-----Arisha's POV---

Several months of school had passed by. It was basically now crunch time! Midterms were just right around the corner. I was still trying to figure out how that was possible. 

People do not lie when they say that college flies by, because it does. 

All I had been doing these past days was studying, studying and studying. I did not have time for anything else. If I didn't get a passing grade on these exams my parents are going to kill me. Or give the typical Desi threat of getting me married off. You all know how it is. 

"Hey,"Shehry said sitting down. 

"Hi,"I said. 

"Ready for the exam?"He asked. 

"Yep and you?"I asked.

"Yep,"He said. 

"Oh by the way, ek baath karni thi tum sa,"he said.

"Karo,"I said. 

"After the test,"he said.

"Should I be worried?"I questioned. 

"I don't think so,"he said. 

"Good,"I said. 

Our professor came in and told us what he needs written our exam papers and then he passed it out. 

I wanted to cry when I saw it. I spent so much time studying for it and I still could not figure out what the questions were asking. There was no way I was going to ask for clarification on every single question. I just prayed a bit and guessed to the best of my ability. Thankfully it got easier as the exam went on. He's literally testing us. No pun intended. 

I finished the exam and went outside and met up with Shehry.

"Haan, abh bolo kya baath karni thi,"I said.

"Uuuummm, okay. I have no idea how to say this,"he said.

"Bas asa bol doh,"I said. 

"Arisha, I kind of really like you,"he said. 

"What?!"I asked shocked.

"I have for a while. You know when I first saw you, my heart whispered that's the one. So as you can probably tell, its been a long time. I didn't say anything earlier because one, I didn't want to risk losing what we had and two, you were so busy with the exams coming up so I didn't want to say anything at that time either,"he said. 

"I'm sorry, but I can't,"I said and left from there.
