This ones really good I think

Basically what this video was about was Tord is the leader of the Red Army but after the accident you all know that he lost his arm. I guess others including those on his side thought he was weak because of this bad so they lost respect for him. Some even tried to become the new leader by killing him.

It failed obviously but they needed someone with strength to fuse with Tord to make him stronger. Tom has monster DNA so he was the obvious choice, keep in mind he told Edd and Matt absolutely nothing about it. After fusing the two together Tord was able to remain Red Leader but now he supposedly shared that spot with Tom.
