Taking away the second amendment isn't gonna happen.

like let's just face it, there are to many people who oppose it.

but like even if we managed to change the damn constitution, it doesn't mean we're inhibiting the psychos that wanna shoot up people at all.

Honestly, I think the second amendment should be left in place. But not as is, there definitely needs to be intense restrictions.

like you need to be 18 in order to legally purchase and own a gun. you need a gun license, and in order to get the gun license you need to pass psych evaluations in order to receive one. Background checks should be required as well. like deep shit needs to be unearthed in order to be able to buy a gun. I think concealed carry should be removed entirely, as in, you have a gun everyone should know you have that gun on you.

I don't want guns to be totally taken away personally. When I'm 18, I'm fuckin leaving, I wanna have that shit on my nightstand for if someone breaks in like legit I wanna be able to protect myself.

Idek like it's awful that people are getting shot up but honestly like taking away guns completely could seriously cause issues because like criminals are still going to be criminals.

I think a lot of people want to abolish the second amendment completely because it'll make them feel safer, but like in reality nothing will change, except normal law abiding citizens will give up their right to own a handgun in a safe box in their fucking home.
