Chapter Twenty
It was now dinner time, and no one had heard from the Young Master, yet. (Y/N) explained to us what had happened, but she said that she didn't know anything about what he was doing in his den all day. Mey-Rin had been dropping off meals all day to the room, and when she returned for the dishes, they were neatly placed outside of the room.
"Well, I guess, I'll go drop off his super," Mey-Rin stated, holding a neatly put together evening tray for the Young Master.
"Maybe he'll come out when you bring it," I optimistically stated.
Mey-Rin gave me a weak smile before existing the kitchen. It wasn't but a moment later, we all heard her squeal, along with a crash.
"Already?" Bard mumbled under his breath.
Instantly, the three of us went out there to see Mey-Rin on the floor with the tray a mess on the floor, but in front of her, Sebastian stood with a smile on his face.
"I'm sorry to have startled you, Mey-Rin," he politely said. "Our lord will be coming down to the dinning room for tonight's meal. He is feeling much better than before, but my apologies on the late notice."
"O-of course!" Mey-Rin stuttered as she tried to get back on her feet. "I will get the table set immediately—"
"Hold that thought," Sebastian interrupted her. His crimson eyes then landed on (Y/N) who was still pale and quiet from previous events. "The My Lord has requested that Miss (Y/N) does the serving tonight."
There was a faint smirk on Sebastian's face as I saw (Y/N)'s face flush white. She had only trained for a few days, and I knew Mey-Rin hadn't gone over meals with her thoroughly; every time Mey-Rin served, (Y/N) sat back in the kitchen with Bard, making the next plate.
(Y/N) gave him a weak smile. "Well then, I shall wash up, and serve the Young Master his food."
