Chapter Ten

*Finny's P.O.V.*

Pluto was now far enough away that I didn't think he'd come for (Y/N) as a chew toy again. I looked to see that she was down one of the rows of trees, looking out of breath and scared. I instantly went to check on her.

I didn't like that she stole from the Young Master, nor did I like the fact that she ripped apart my garden in the process, but she did apologize. The master took sympathy on her much like he did with the rest of us, and for that reason, she isn't so different than the rest of us.

"I didn't know there was a dog..." (Y/N) said in shock, still trying to catch her breath. "And- you...you picked up that tree- H-how!"

"(Y/N), please I can explain, just sit down..." I comforted her.

No, she was lost and confused like all of had been at some point, trying to make our ways to survive.

I took her to one of the benches and explained my entire story to her. I talked about everything I knew about the experimental camp that I was at, and how the Phantomhives saved me.

"So, Bard and Mey-Rin...are they like you?" she questioned.

"No, they have their own stories...but that's not my business to tell," I told her.

"Well, thank you for saving me, Finnian—"

"Please, call me Finny," I smiled at her.

She gave me a soft smile in return as her (h/c) hair started to fall in her face.

"(Y/N)! There you are!" Mey-Rin yelled from the top of the garden. "You were taking so long I was starting to worry."

"Pluto came after her," I explained as we made our way to her.

"Oh my! Are you okay?" Mey-Rin instantly asked.

"Yeah, just a little shocked is all," she replied.

"Well good because there is still much work to be done," Mey-Rin said, leading the two of them into the manor.

(Y/N) gave me a weary smile and wave before going back inside.

She's cute.
