Uh uh (Jin Bubaigawara X Mute Reader)

A quirkless AU

There was something serene about the river running under the bridge... Something so... Peaceful, tranquil in a way. I mean, he'd often find himself spending his time around the particular bridge looking over the vast rivers, but it hits different in 3 AM after a panic attack when his spouse helped him out of it. The rushing waters ran from a certain direction, whilst he watches peacefully from above the bridge. The moon shone brightly from above, the cold breeze blowing within his direction.

He'd shiver from the cold, but he found warmth and comfort engulfed between his arms. His lovely spouse, deeply snuggled into his chest, such a cute sight for him that never failed to make him smile. Heat evaded his chest and cheeks, his sense of companionship with you was still something to get used to, since both of you were just married a week ago and he found himself trying to get used to it. Not that it was a bad thing, he was just... Shocked and in disbelief that you'd marry trash like him... Oh he wouldn't say that out loud, that'd warrant him a smack on the chest. As much as you look adorable when you'd tell at him in your local language, he still wanted to live bruise-free.

Ahhh, but what did he do to deserve a blessing such as yourself? The beautiful person who knew not how to speak Japanese and struggled to communicate with him and yet here you were, hand in hand... Perhaps it's true that love can overcome any boundaries laid out for the couple's. Quite magnificent, if you ask him.

And for some reason, in a place like this he felt the need to smoke a stick of cigarette as he watches the water flow along the river. He reaches in his pocket, gently holding the stick between his fingertips and places it between his lips. Before he can light the cigarette between his lips, you immediately snatched the cancer stick and threw it out of the river.

Jin Bubaigawara rolled his eyes.
"Aww, come on, Y/N—" he grunts, wrapping an arm around your waist to pull you closer.

"Oi, 'wag mo akong i-'Aww come on, Y/N' ako! Naka ilang sigarilyo ka na?" (Oi, don't 'Aww come on, Y/N' me! How many cigarettes did you already have?) Through a glare, it was clear that your displeasure towards your husband smoking was evident in your eyes despite not being able to understand the language you spoke.

He sighs, running a hand through his tousled blond locks to hide a smile he was denying, when he was supposed to look annoyed by your behaviour and yet he found it amusing in a way.

"Alright, alright," he chuckles, spinning you around to face him and took the chance to cup your cheek with his palm. He smiles warmly as he witness you childishly pout and wholeheartedly chuckles at your wholesome display of concern, it will never get old for him really. His thumb strokes your cheek, while you took the chance to coil your arms around his waist. "I'll stop smoking just for you, okay? I'll do it for you."

Your face softened, averting your gaze as the heat spreads like a wildfire on your cheeks. "Kahit hindi ako masyadong nakaka-intindi ng lingguwahe ng Hapon... Sana alam mo kung gaano kita ka mahal..." (Even if I don't know the Japanese language that much... I hope you know how much I love you...)

"Hmm, mahal means love, right?" Jin wonders with a chuckle, before planting a kiss on your forehead. You only nodded at him, hiding your face in his chest.

"Mahal kita, aking sinta..." (I love you, my love...) your voice was muffled on his chest. Jin chuckles, before planting a kiss on your head, gently swaying you from side to side.

"Mahal din kita." (I love you too). He learned a bit of your language and he struggled to pronounce the word, but you got the message.

"Hmmmp," you laughed, lightly smacking his rear before pulling away. "Tara, uwi na tayo. Tulog na." (Let's go home. Let's sleep.)  He wasn't able to respond, as you already had his fingers interlaced with yours whilst you lead the way towards your residence.

Ahhh, how could Jin Bubaigawara be this lucky to find such an understanding spouse as you are? So lovely, so kind... The person that truly understood him despite the language barrier. A person he wouldn't mind spending a lifetime with. He smiled, giving your hand a light squeeze and waited for you to squeeze back... And you did! It was a silent way of saying your love for each other, only the two of you knew what it was and it was a neat little connection you had with him.

Once you reached home, you wasted to time kicking your shoes off and stripping your jacket to get to bed. Once you positioned yourself on your side of the bed beside your husband, you sat up for a moment to turn the lights off. After you've turned off the lights, you gave your husband his usual, quick smooch on the lips to bid goodnight, when he lingered a little more longer... And longer... Until it became more than just a goodnight kiss...

Ahh, if ya know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

"Hey, don't stress yourself out, okay?" Jin shifts his attention from you as he buttons his shirt close, his sky blue gaze glancing over his shoulder. You halted from your ironing to glance up your husband and gave him a heart clenching sweet smile.

"Para sayo, sige." (For you, of course).

He didn't need to try and figure out what you said, as your smile needed no translation. Smiling to himself, pulled you in for a quick smooch before pulling away with a smile.

"Ehhh, kailangan mo pa bang pumunta? 'Di ba pwedeng maghintay yan?" (Ehhh, do you need to go? Can't it wait?) You insisted, as you pulled your husband's coat from the ironing board and draped it over his shoulder. "Hindi ko pinagkatiwalaan yung trabaho na a-applyan mo." (I don't trust the job you're applying in)

"I don't know what you're saying but with your time I can tell you don't particularly trust the company I'll be applying in, am I correct?" Jin sighs, as he watches you straighten his coat and tie. Pouting at the slightest, the blond man plants a kiss on the crown of your head for reassurance, his hand caressing your face and stroking his thumb over your cheek.

You sighed, leaning into his touch as your hands remained on his tie. "Ewan ko kung bakit, pero may masama akong hinala sa kanila. Yung Shiee Hassaikai na 'yan. 'Di ba sila yung... Yung pinag chi-chismisan na Yakuza? Tapos may toxic sila na workplace? Ayaw ko kung paano nila trina-trato ang mga employado nila, Jin. At ayaw kong mai-trato ka ng ganon." (I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling about them. That Shiee Hassaikai. Aren't they that... That um is rumoured to be a Yakuza? Then a toxic workplace? I don't like how they treat their employees, Jin. And I don't want you to be treated like that.)

"Look, it's the only job I can apply in that will support the both of us! I don't want you to be the only one providing us income! That would be shameless of me!" He sighs, as he held onto your waist and began swaying you from side to side. "As your husband, I want to give you the best— and I mean, the best thing ever!" His fingers trailed to pinch your chin between them, before tilting it upwards so he could gaze into your lovely eyes like he did when he fell in love with them. "Please let's give this a chance... I really want to do this... For you, for us!"

Jin watches as your face scrunches at the slightest from frustration, before it softens within a sigh. You mustered up to give him a small, yet sweetly amazing smile that never fails to attack Jin's chest with sweet, delightful nudges that the butterflies in his stomach feed on.

"Sige na nga. Basta kapag ayaw mo na doon, mag resign ka, okay?" (Fine... But if you don't want to be there, you'll resign, okay?) Leaning your head on his chest, you muttered in his local language at your best. "Be careful..."

"I will," Jin smiles, before tilting your head upwards to meet his lips against your for a quick peck. "I love you."

"I love you, too..."

"Tell us what happened next, Y/N Bubaigawara." Scoffs the judge as he sat in his podium.

Biting your lip and with teary eyes, you slammed your closed fist against your podium. "Hindi ko pinatay ang asawa ko! Mahal ko siya, bakit ko naman siya papatayin?! Mga hayop, lahat kayo!" (I didn't kill my spouse! I love him, why would I kill him! Animals, all of you!)

After hours of hours waiting for his arrival from his job, and he never came home. You thought of the worse the moment when the clock chimed in midnight and he made no known presence. In a form of a note, a call, a text, nothing at all. Your guts were stirring with anxiety as you bit your nail out of fear, the fear for the worst until a knock on the door erupts.

Relief flooded your system as you approached the door, enthusiastically opening it to greet your beloved Jin Bubaigawara, only to be met with two police officers. With the language barrier, you weren't able to understand why they suddenly took you to the police station, is when you were asked to identify the identity of the man found dead in their autopsy table, found dead with a decapitated head. Your sense of thinking vanished as you were properly process the dead body of your spouse laying before you.

Additionally and for some reason, the police claimed to investigate your house filled with 'evidence' of the murder of your husband even if you didn't murder him, WHY WOULD YOU? HOW COULD THEY?

"TULAD NG SABI KO, I AM INNOCENT! YUNG SHIE HASSAIKAI ANG DAPAT NIYONG ARESTOHIN—" (LIKE I SAID, I AM INNOCENT! THAT SHIEE HASSAIKAI IS THE ONE YOU SHOULD ARREST—)

"ENOUGH!" The judge bangs in gavel. "Y/N Bubaigawara, responsible for the man slaughter of your husband Jin Bubaigawara I sentence you to death via lethal injection! Do you have anything more to say Bubaigawara?"

You whimpered, attempting to free yourself from handcuffs and shaking your head with tears leaking from your eyes.

"Nuh uh... Not guilty!"

A/N:

The Shiee Hassaikai is a company owned by Kai that also doubles as a secret Yakuza group.

Jin is invited to have an interview, only to have him killed because Jin witnessed something he shouldn't about the business of the Mafia and Yakuza even if he is oblivious to it.

So Kai killed Jin, before framing reader for it by bribing the court and police officers because Y/N is aware what the rumours are about the Shiee Hassaikai company and might use that as a testimony to use against the court. But instead of getting the court agree with them, it would be the people who will protest because of the injustice of the court.

So yeah xD
