Son of evil (Overhaul X Sibling Reader) PT. 1

Chisaki Kai. He isn't the most pleasant person there is. He was always so persistent to change the world because a quirk is nothing but a disease, a world pandemic that will end humanity once it does its damage. The air was infected with such disease, as he couldn't bare to breathe in the same air as other people. He believed that quirks came from experimental rats that somehow escaped the lab and infected other people... It reminded you of how the greatest pandemic of the history, The Black Plague. His beliefs were bizarre, yet he believed in then nontheless.

Growing up with him was such a challenge. Hell, you have no idea how you, his older sibling, manage to get a hold of his neck to avoid any forms of chaos. You can barely have any decent conversation with him. There were some nights that he would come home, wounded and barely breathing. All because of the Yakuza that he's been loyal in. The Yakuza's that made him obsessed of restoring their former glory.

He had two goals:

To eliminate quirk users, or in his words; "To heal the diseased one's." And to restore Yakuza to its former glory.

You didn't want to be a part of any of these, the Shie Hassakai, nor the Yakuza. Yet you supported Kai from the side lines. You know what he was doing was bad, yet you somehow didn't have any strength to do so.

You grew up neglecting him when you were younger. But it was for the best, you thought. You were working three jobs at that time to support the two of you. Odd jobs here, odd jobs there was your only job and source of income. You were a decade older than him. He was five back then, while you were fifteen.

Now, he is currently twenty one, while you are thirty one. Funny how time passes. Instead of looking older than him, you were often mistaken as the younger sibling. You didn't know whether to laugh at that, or get upset with that.

Anyways, the only thing you can offer him was your support for him. Even if you didn't like what he was doing. The boy was so persistent, he refuses to stop at anything. He does everything to perform his plan flawlessly. You admired that about him... If he weren't terrorising the world, that is. The stubborn boy would even go too far for his plans to make a difference by hurting and experimenting on a child.

A child! A five years old child that's so vulnerable and helpless that you can't stop seeing him in that child when he was five. You did your best to stop Kai from doing anything far more worst to Eri, but he always finds a way to torment her. One way or another.

With no other choice, you flirted with the one who was "babysitting" Eri to distract him so that she can escape. And when Kai found out about that, he punishes that person. You were extremely mortified to see Kai use his quirk on a living being, killing him. You know that you should get used to this, seeing him multiple times killing someone. Yet all of that was too unbearable to watch.

Luck wasn't always on your side, Kai found Eri, unfortunately. Perhaps fate was planning something. And it truly did.

Huh... Isn't this such a strange time to reminisce about the past whilst you stood on a building, blood spilling everywhere as both Yakuzas and heroes fought. The figure in your arms trembles, as they held you close. You looked down at the curly haired girl and stroked her back to uncover her face.

Somehow, you can see Kai. The vulnerable kid that looks up to you. You can actually see Kai, not he was calling himself. Overhaul is a name of a monster, but he was still your brother. You sighed, as the mask similar to the Shie Hassakai members began to adjust around your face.

Overhaul insisted that you should wear one. To protect your identity? I think not. It was rather to show the heroes that they were many, perhaps. You weren't a part of it in the first place.

"You!" You glanced at the source of the yell, and came face to face with a battered teenaged intern, approaching you with fists closed, ready to attack. "Let here go!" With a strangled and shocked yelp, you tightly held onto Eri as she trembled.

Out of panic and sheer terror, you turned your back on him to protect Eri. You were shaking, tears were unconsciously streaming down your face as you didn't knew what to do. You never wanted to be a part of this. But you can't do anything. You didn't want your baby brother Kai to believe that everyone has turned against him. Before you can feel any impact on your body, you didn't. Confused, you glanced at the intern. Your concealed face came face to face with a courageous, yet innocent face of an upcoming hero.

"Y-you're not attacking...?" His voice dripped with confusion, as he eyed you from top to bottom. "You're even risking your life to protect Eri-chan... Why?"

That question struck you. It was probably the fact that you failed to acknowledge Kai's early development as a child, that you're willing to risk your life for Eri to not lead her in the same path. You hugged her close to your chest. As a response to the boy, you simply shook your head. He was confused. He took this as a sign that you needed your privacy.

Before he can ask anymore questions, you pointed behind him and with a concealed look of panic, you shrieked: "Look out!" Behind him, was Overhaul preparing to send a wave of spikes towards your direction. Instead of running away, the boy pushed your out of the way. You landed on the side, holding onto the trembling Eri, as the green haired boy fought with your brother.

Groaning, you got on your feet. The red tinted glass of your goggles implanted on the mask cracked, prompting you to set Eri aside to take off your mask. You held the mask in front of your face. The white mask in your grasp just reminded you how much he affected your personality.

The once joyful, ambitious, encouraging big sibling was replaced by a cold, touch deprived, loveless person. Finally taking that mask of felt like a burden being lifted off your shoulders. You felt free. You threw the mask aside, as pulled the glass shards from your cheeks, before picking up Eri. "Let's get you to the heroes," you panted to Eri, only to hear a metallic click at the back of your head.

"Not so fast," you heard the muffled voice of Chrono behind you, as you trembled in sheer terror. Not for yourself, for Eri. "Drop Eri, and you can still live," with no other choice, you complied. Gently, you set Eri in her feet and raised your hands to your head in defeat. Silence enveloped you, as you can barely hear anything in the chaos ensuing environment. Turning unexpectedly, you grabbed the gun and used your overhauling quirk to disassemble the gun before engaging in combat with your little brother's right hand man by launching forward to tackle him on the ground.

He landed on the floor with a grunt, as you straddled his hips and pinned his hands above his head. You were usually frail, but with adrenaline pumping in your systems, you were stronger than your usual self. Before he can use his quirk, you banged his head against the floor, catching him off guard. Repeating this process, you finally blacked him out.

Standing up, your vision was a tad bit nauseating. Your vision was spinning as you picked up Eri in your arms. You refuse to let her land in the hands of your brother. Not again.

Now that you think about it... It's not too late for your brother to change. He can still stop. And that will be your primary goal when you finally save Eri. Though, you don't trust heroes as well. They try their best, but their best isn't enough. You can't blame them, though. They're only human, too.

You brushed Eri's hair away from her face. "It's okay, child... You're safe..." Is she? Nontheless, you reassured her. Picking her up, you carried her, where you saw numerous heroes evacuating the building.

"Y-you're bleeding," she pointed out. You don't sighed.

"Well, no one can escape a battle unscathed, Eri," you smiled, as you pressed a kiss in her forehead. As you ran outside, you avoided every obstacle there is and after that, you finally reached outside. Collapsing on your knees, a hero spots you with Eri. A hero you recognised as Fatgum, came to retrieve Eri from you. "Please... Keep her safe..." you panted as you gave her to him. Without waiting for a response, you stood up to run back inside the building.

It still wasn't over for Kai. It's not. You'll stop him, he'll see the errors of his mistake. Your thoughts came to a halt. No one in this society will forgive him. They'll want him dead for sure. Even if the society can't kill him, someone else will. A certain league of villains will.

A/N:

Tomura's POV

Both hands of this loser in front of me was decapitated. Thought, the loser shed no tears. Unfortunately. But it would still be fun to make him watch everything he has done crumble into dust.

"Just kill me now." He uttered in pure despair, as his lips pursued in pure agony.

"No," I spoke. "I decided to be generous and let you live! Isn't that exciting?" He just glared at me. But that look looked far too weak to look like a glare. It was more of a look of pleading, pleading to be just killed instead. How pathetic.

"All the things you devoted creating all your life! And all you can to is to watch in envy for the rest of your life, good luck with that!" I can't help but to laugh at his misery. Just a wonderful sight. "You can't even lift a finger, 'cause you don't have one any way!"

Narrator's POV

Somewhere in the mist of darkness, a figure shook in tears. They failed. They failed everyone, they failed the one person who has ever been there for them. They were the worst sibling one would hate the most.

They failed. They failed. They failed.

Forgive me...
