Timing (21st)

"You're 'Hype zero', the troll game-rager, it all clicked with your HZ hand sign" she accused.

"Hype zero the gamer, yeah, you recognise..." he started upbeat, however his disposition dampened "I'm no troll!"

"In your video play through of 'Tin Maidens', you said "Copper Maiden looks like a street walker", you misogynistic pig" she snapped "Oh, and "Gold Maiden's so useless she probably can't even make a sandwich" she finished before turning around and briskly walking off.

Fent stood in place, before choosing to follow her at a steady pace "'K, sorry" he offered.

Phyllis ignored as she made it towards the main road, overtook a pair of women and pulled open the door of a black taxi they headed towards open.
She plonked down in the back seat and slammed the door shut, ignoring one woman who knocked on the window yelling "this is ours"

"I'm being followed, I want to go home" she firmly claimed.

Phyllis left the taxi, walked towards her bright home.
Inside, she dropped her coat on the ground and rushed upstairs.
She approached a red lips looking phone on a desk; she removed the receiver, leaving it laying on the desk.
Phyllis sighed in relief, before choosing to root into her bags, locating and opening a box and retrieved a shiny mobile.

Sat on her bed, Phyllis scrolled through her two devices, a shiny black mobile and a neon green one.

An abrupt barrage knocking sounded at Phyllis' balcony window.
She maintained composure, shaking her head in annoyance, she put her phones down.
She walked over to the balcony, drawing back its curtains with a raised brow expression.
Shock possessed her features as she looked at Fent staring back at her.

"I'm surprised he left..." Calci surveyed the room "a good 40 people to their own devices, in his palace"

"He'll return soon" Maple offered as if pleading.

Calci looked around brightly light room, settling on the cluster of shelving units against the far wall.
"Bring me all those games on that top shelf, and, dig out his recorded collection too" Calci ordered as she pointed.

"Don't be scared, I, I, I just wanna talk" Fent stuttered through the glass with his hands up defensively.

"How did you get here!?" she yelled.

"I followed you, Phyll, Phyllis I've got about three minutes before I have to run" he claimed.

"I have no interest in speaking to the likes of you" Phyllis said.

"Yeah, I know, vampires, scary, but it's so important that..."

"I'm not afraid of Calci or intimidated by you" Phyllis cut in.

"You should be, we're vampires" he yelled.

Phyllis's eyes briefly widened.

"How else could I constantly upload and stream every night?" he asked.

"OK" Phyllis began she crossed her arms "now I know this is nonsense"

"What's wrong with you?" Fent asked in annoyance.

"I'm guessing she has plenty of common-as-muck 'relatives'" Phyllis accused with air quotes "hand you a tenner did she? I guessing you're some wispy burglar and Channel's your younger aunty"

"Ya, you know, you've had it" he stated as he backed up "I can't"

"Bye" Phyllis sarcastically added.

Wordlessly, he turned and leaped from the balcony.

He soon became visible again as he rushed down the gravel path, Fent slowed his pace as he looked to the hedges, then back towards the balcony...
"Nothing but pretentious trash, she deserves whatever's coming" he claimed before speeding up.

Calci threw shards of a thin, metallic object into the air above her as if they were confetti.
She was standing above the green chair she previously sat.
The dark haired woman lay unconscious on the sofa, beside her was a seated bald woman - this woman winced as the 'confetti' showered her.

"What's more valuable?" Calci asked the bald woman as she leaned on the back of the sofa behind her, she presented two disks
"'Venture South Star' or 'West Star Quest'?" Calci asked as she read off the disks "They look the same to me"

"Erm, 'West Star Quest' is the, prequel, Fent imported it last month" she quietly relayed.

Calci straightening up, then proceeding to vigorously scratch said disks shiny belly.
She tossed it to the ground before snapping the other in disk in half.

"Wilber sweet, come on, you detest modern technology" Calci said as she looked towards the old men in the corner.

Phill looked aside with discomfort as the vampir aproached.
The older man beside him looked startled as retro cartridge games drooped into his lap; falling at his feet.
"You're an active man" she claimed "not a stiff" she said in a raised voice as she stamped on cartridges at their feet, busting the hard plastic.

Calci suddenly looked to the door at the further end of the room.
A nervous crowd soon followed suit.
A slamming door was heard, followed by noisy footsteps stomping on each step, finally a creaky door flew open before Fent appeared in the doorway.

"You're just on time" Calci claimed with a wide smile "what did I tell you however, on time is rarely good enough, it's always best to arrive a little early"

Fent walked through the seated, fearful looking crowd and towards the further end of the room, soon crunching through the remains of many video games that littered the ground as he passed Calci.

The awkward silence featured clear communication once Fent's disgruntled gaze lingering upon Calci's purposefully vacant one.
This standoff ended when he quietly ordered
"All of you, get out of here"

Those near and far alike heard, making a hasty effort to obey.

"Sit down" Calci barked whilst staring at Fent.
Her order caused the gathering to halt; swiftly, they reclaimed their places.

"You all have the right to be here as I set the record straight" Calci claimed in a sweet tone.
