"Now, now's not a, good time" Phyllis stuttered.
"Oh you're tired? Obnoxious aren't I?" Calci claimed "but I embrace it, my time's valuable, which is ironic, you know, living forever, then my predicament"
"I need to meet with my guru first, before I jump into anything new and make major decisions" Phyllis claimed.
"A guru, oh darling" Calci sighed.
"Brother Ramen's instructions are invaluable" Phyllis claimed.
"You had no problem making up your mind before?" Calci accused.
"I had a change of heart" Phyllis answered.
"So, is it true, that you can't enter unless invited?" Phyllis asked.
"Why? Do you feel ready to invite me in?" Calci asked in return.
"I don't think I am" Phyllis replied.
"Well I don't think I'll answer" Calci replied in return with a faux defiance as she pointed her nose in the air.
Phyllis scanned the woman before her; looking her up and down
"You're dressed nice tonight, lure some poor sucker in and sap them dry?" she accused.
"You're getting brave Phyl, I like it" Calci responded.
Phyllis took in Calci's face, through glass.
"You look a little, healthier" Phyllis affirmed in an abrupt and sarcastic manner.
Calci made eye contact
"Good eating" as began before pausing "I feel very, satisfied"
Phyllis visibly stiffened.
"Phyl I have to ask; do you believe me inhuman?" Calci asked.
"I don't..." Phyllis started as she averted her gaze
"I don't know what to believe".
"How did Phill promote me? I'm more than positive he would have been truthful and direct with you" Calci asked.
Phyllis focus moved towards the other woman's open mouth as she spoke.
"What is it?" Calci enquired as she traced her fingers across her chin, realising something on her face was garnering attention
"I'm not fading already am I?"
"Do you have fangs?" Phyllis asked whilst maintain her fixed look.
"Fangs?" Calci asked.
"Oh!" She realised.
She hooked the tip of her index finger around the corner of her lip, slowly moving upwards towards the centre below her nose - showcasing her chipped, weathered looking and apparently very thick teeth.
Relaxing her hands, she spoke...
"They're, described as calcified; they're highly dense, and merely chipped"
"So you just shred through people like a wild wolf" Phyllis asked.
"Not if I can help it" Calci seemingly joked.
"So how often to you eat or drink? In fact, do you eat?" Phyllis
"Fresh bloody flesh I can manage, but it does little for me and solid won't settle, or move along, we just top up our fluids" Calci answered.
"Every last bit I'm guessing, leaving your victim a deflated..."
"You know you never answered my question" Calci spoke assertively "how did Phil sell me to you?"
Phyllis answered in annoyances after a sigh "He told me you were a genuine revenant, he told me you two were friends, he makes a small donation to you and in exchange, you share knowledge with him. He told me you may be interested in me."
"Phil speaks the truth" Calci assured "my question now is, why didn't you believe him?"
"Well, I just though, you were maybe some, fetish dominatrix, and he were into role play, and wanted me to play, along" Phyllis nervously confirmed.
"Oh really!" Calci instantly brightened up "That's what you thought? Why on Earth would... He did tell you I was interested in a new donor, didn't he?"
Phyllis replied with a nod.
"So do you have unrequited love for Phil? Or were you hoping to be his side piece?" Calci asked.
Phyllis looked towards Calci with a sneer..
"What!?" She snapped "Why would you say such a thing?"
"You're the one who was happy to kink play with a married man, you must have love for him" Calci replied.
"Well for your information, I love all the beings of this world and I support all ways of life, a refusal to take Phil up on his offer would be ignorant and I'm no bigot" Phyllis confirmed.
Calci's slight smile widened, she then burst into laughter.
A laughter that lasted.
"Oh, you're amusing you know, I'm going to like you" Calci claimed as she composed herself.
"How do you know we're going to remain acquainted?" Phyllis snarked.
Calci slowly looked the other woman up and down, settling on her face and shrugging...
"You're a being of love and acceptance aren't you? You don't want to be a hypocrite, do you?"
Phyllis clenched her jaw and looked towards the ground at her side; with an expression of discomfort across her face, she began yet another silence.
