2.

I shut my locker and make my way to my group of friends who were down the hall. I was running late today and barely managed to get myself to look decent. Another day of high school, I can't wait to get out of here finally. I smile and join the conversation before someone gasps. All three of my friends look at me, what now?

"What?" I ask, confused at how everyone's eyes are wide.

"What's this?" Lindsey asks while pointing at her own jaw line. I place my finger on my jaw before wincing from the touch.

"Is that a hickey?! No way!" Ben says. Oh, no. How in the world did I not notice this? How did my mom not notice? This is bad.

"Is it that bad?" I whisper. They all nod before Lindsey grabs my arm and drags me to the bathroom.

"Here, we've got to cover this up before any rumors start. Although everyone knows you are the innocent one in the group, still best to stay safe, you have to tell me everything!" She says while rummaging through her backpack before taking out a concealer. I roll my eyes at her, does she just always carry that around? I nod and let her apply it, after a couple of minutes she fully covers the spot like nothing was there before.

"Thank you," I smile and give out a sigh of relief.

"No problem." She smiles before we walk back out to our class. I have been wanting to go into a music career, that's why I've picked as many classes that I could which involved music in any type of way. It's sounds funny, I hate going to piano lessons but I want to have a music career itself. But that's just the way it is. I enter the classroom and sit down in the front like I usually do. The bell rings, indicating that this period has started. Our teacher walks in, a smile on his face.

He's usually grumpy, maybe because he's old. But it's rare to see him actually walking into the classroom smiling. It's absurd, especially for a Monday. Everyone dreads Monday, if you don't, are you okay? But this should be something special if he's so happy about it. He sets his paperwork on his desk before turning towards us.

"Class," he starts, "I have some news."

I heard some mumbling going around if hopefully he's leaving and retiring. I ignore it and wait for him to continue.

"We have a student teacher," he smiles. The class starts chatting right away, who it is and how they look like.

"Quiet down, quiet down," He motions his hands. "Alright. He is twenty-one and just graduated university. He will be here shortly, maybe a couple minutes after we get started today."

So it's a boy, twenty-one, and a graduate. He's young to be starting to teach already. Class starts with us taking notes and learning new concepts before it's all interrupted with someone bursting into he classroom. Not like quietly walking and introducing themselves, but swinging the door open and revealing themselves. My eyes widen in horror as I see him walk in, a binder with papers sticking out in his left hand as he shuts the door.

"Ah, here he is." Our teacher says before walking over to him and draping an arm around his broad shoulders. He seems to have the same outfit on, black jeans, black shirt, black shoes. Full out black. I try to not make eye contact with him as he introduces himself.

"Hello, I am Harry Styles," his deep voice says slowly, making sure we hear every word. "You may call me Harry or mister Styles. It doesn't mean much to me."

"Now, class lets welcome him politely." Our teacher says, grinning.

"Hello, Mister Styles." The class mumbles, except me. I guess he noticed, since he looked at me shortly before turning towards our teacher.

"Well done, class." He praises before he walks back to his desk as Harry stands there.

"But, not everyone welcomed me." He mumbles while looking at me before turning back around. Instantly the classroom starts chatting as Harry talks to our awfully cheery teacher. As they chatted, the class took that chance to do so as well. Instead, I finished up my notes that were written on the board before the lesson continued on.

"So, now you have two teachers to help you if you need any." Harry smirks, I hear girls giggle behind me. I roll my eyes not just at Harry, but the group of girls behind me. I wait patiently as our teacher quiets everyone down.

"I hope you understand everything, and the homework will be page thirty-six in the textbook. You may get to work." He says before walking out the door with an empty water bottle. I sigh and start to work on the problems that were given. These are all just basics, what are dynamics and accents. This is easy. I quickly write the correct answers on a separate sheet of paper before Harry interupts.

"Now, let's have a couple of people come up and write the answer on the board." He claps his hands together as if he actually cared about this at all. Maybe he should get a beer for himself again, show how interested he is.

"Any volunteers?" He asks, looking around the room. "No? Looks like I'll pick someone."

He looks around the room as I look down at my paper and trace over words to not get called on, hopefully.

"Ah, Kate. How about you go do number one." He says while looking at me. I roll my eyes before getting out of my seat and coming up to the door. The first one was about dynamics, a crescendo sign was written on the board as I grabbed a marker and wrote my answer.

"Good job, Kate. Yes, the crescendo sign means louder. Like when you slowly start screaming you can get louder and louder..." He smirks at me. Just as he finishes the bell rings, signaling second period. I start packing my items in my backpack before I walk toward the door where Harry was dismissing students. As I got there, he pulled me away from the door towards a corner. His height towering over me.

"Next time you roll your eyes and give me that attitude, I'll make your screams crescendo." He whispers in my ear, before pulling away smirking. My eyes widen at what he meant. His laughter was heard as I tried to comprehend on what to do or say next before the bell rang. I sigh as I realize that I'm late to class, again.

"Oh, late for class I see." He asks.

"Stating that the bell rang, then yes."

"Don't sass me, or else I'll make you stay after school." I grab the slip from and open the door.

"Sorry." I say, keeping myself from rolling my eyes again in front of him.

"Remember! Attitude!" He calls out behind me. I huff out a breathe before walking out to the empty hallway to my classroom. This is going to be a rough year.
