Short chapter cause... well everyone knows why...

(y/n) - your name

I sigh nervously as Allison drives us through a sketchy alleyway, my foot bouncing in the seat as I double-check, triple-check that the silencer on my handgun was attached correctly. I had to head home first to get it, trying to remember how Five taught me to do it when he trained me on the Uber drive to Allison's place. I look around the place, the smell hitting me and I scrunch my nose, hiding my gun beneath my shirt in the holder on my back.

Why is there just a line of motorbikes here too? What is this, a bike gang hangout area?

"This is the place?" I ask Allison and she nods while I fix the jacket over my shoulders.

Even though she hates my guts as much as I hate hers, it doesn't hinder the fact that we're worried for Klaus.

"Yeah. It's his favourite." Claire says and I turn to look at her in surprise.

"Have you been here before!?" Allison and I ask and she blinks at us.

"No, no. I've never been inside."

"So you have been here before." her mum says, narrowing her eyes on her kid and I stay out of this conversation, getting out of the car.

"In a cab, Mom. To get Uncle Klaus." Claire rolls her eyes. "God. For once in your life, you just need to chill."

"We're gonna talk about this later. Wait here."

Allison gets out and I let her head off first before I knock on the window for Claire to roll down the windows. "How old are you kid?"

"16. Why?"

"I know you know this, that your mum cares about you a lot, but you gotta remember why she's so protective of you. She lost you three times." Claire's eyes widen. "Please don't give her any more grief. I know you think you're old enough to do things by yourself but the world isn't kind. You really do need to be careful when you're by yourself. Your mum has gone through so much at your age, and even worse the older she got." Claire nods. "Ok good. Now, roll up the windows, lock the doors and hide down on the floor of the car. Don't call us, just text ok." she quickly does as I ask and I turn my ringer off to keep my phone silent. I sigh out and get myself ready, jumping when I hear Allison kick down the door with her new powers, rendering the biker behind it unconscious. I peek in past the doorway, my eyes wide.

Ok, I have to admit that was badass.

I follow behind her carefully, acting as a guard and I roll my eyes when she makes the mistake of calling out for Klaus in unknown territory.

She's just giving herself away.

She walks into an empty room, calling for Klaus but I hide outside against the wall, grabbing my gun and cocking it ready by my side. I peek over and I see a man loom behind Allison, a metal bat in his hand and I wince when he swings it down on her head, knocking her to the ground.

Yikes. That's gotta hurt. Good.

"Seek, and ye shall find. So Klaus is your brother, huh? I guess pretty and stupid runs in the family." this guy laughs.

I let Allison make noise for me when she tries to use her powers and I creep up behind the guy, shooting his leg.

I'm not good with distance shots, but close-ups are perfectly fine.

He screams out in pain and I kick the back of his knee to make him fall to the floor, him clutching his bleeding-out leg and swearing at me. I quickly check the hallway and close the door so he doesn't alert anyone and press the gun to the back of his head. "You gonna shut up or want me to do it? I'm not pleased with you trying to alert your biker friends." I hiss. "And I don't waste time. And since you like to ride, bye-bye leg. Now, where's Klaus." I look at Allison and she gets up, grabbing the bat and I nod towards the door for her to be lookout.

"I'm not telling you shit!"

"Want me to shoot your other good leg then?" I sneer. "Then there's no way you'll have any more good use for your motorbike. And I'm not asking again. Where's Klaus!?" He screams obscenities and I give him no time before shooting his other good leg.

15 rounds left. Don't wanna waste it.

I let Allison do the rest, using her powers to scare the shit out of this guy, even making his balls burst like balloons. I grimace at the and be the lookout for the door, the guy finally telling us where Klaus is.

"Pet cemetery on Sycamore! He's buried there!"

"Which grave?"

"What the hell are you!?"

"I'm an actor, you mοthеrfսckеr." I roll my eyes at Allison's words before she walks off. "Well, he was rude." I look at her in confusion as she just walks off without getting the answer to which grave he's buried under.

I hate tv show common sense.

I turn back to the guy. "Which grave."

"For some mutt with the name Thunderbolt!" I nod, making sure my mask is still on before I leave the room. I lock the door behind me and leave this place, heading back to the car as Allison gets in. I jump in and we drive off while I look up the cemetery for directions.

"Mom, you're bleeding! Aunty (y/n), there's blood on you!?"

"Yeah, we had to deal with business." I answer, checking my backpack.

Yes, gonna throw some unnecessary show logic where I've been carrying something with me I hadn't mentioned before but still am. It's the same bag from when we got tossed around like salad in the van, where Jean and Gene bulldozed us.

I rummage through the bag for wipes, tossing some to Allison and I clean myself off. I notice the jar of Marigold I still had, swaddled in spare clothes and I check the glass to see it wasn't cracked.

Well, that's good... I think?

I should probably get rid of this though.

I choke on my seatbelt when Allison jerks the car to a stop at the cemetery and I quickly unbuckle the belt, jumping out of the car and running into the cemetery.

Why is there a dog barking?

I follow the barking and find the grave of Thunderbolt. "He's here!" I yell out to Allison and I grab a shovel to start digging away at the obviously fresh soil that was put on the grave. She grabs another shovel and we try to dig quickly. "Klaus!" I yell out when the thuds sound clearer like he was trying to punch through wood, clearing off the rest of the dirt to reveal the coffin and he immediately punches through it. Allison and I pry it off, using the shovels to unhinge the lid from the nails and ripping it away. "Klaus!" I gasp when I see him and he blinks, wondering if it was god and I grab his hand to pull him out.

"(y/n)! Allison? Claire Bear!?" he gasps in relief and I hug him tightly as we crumble to the floor, him crying into my shoulder and asking Allison and her daughter why they came back for him. "(y/n), I can't believe you're here too."

"Of course I am!" I tear up, holding his cheeks. I wipe the dirt from his eyes as he cries and I knew there was something more than what he was letting on. I let him hug Allison and Claire before we carry him back to the car. I stayed in the back with Klaus as we head back to Allison's place and I use wipes to clean him off while he cried softly and my heart hurts seeing how afraid he was. "We're here..." I whisper to him and he holds me tightly, leaning into my hand as I finish cleaning the dirt off. "I'm sorry we didn't come sooner."

"No, I'm sorry for running off. I should've... talked to you all, try to fix things..." We fall silent for a bit until we arrive home, Allison helping Klaus inside and helping him wash the dirt off while Claire and I sat in the living room.

"Mom is always helping Uncle Klaus, no matter what. Even while he was getting sober..." she mumbles and I frown.

I should've reached out sooner the moment Five found me, reached out to Klaus to see if he was ok.

Allison comes back out and tells us that Klaus was resting downstairs in his room so I head down to the basement where he lives. He was aimlessly flicking through channels on the tv and I sit down next to him, giving him space.

"Klaus?" I whisper, tugging on his shirt. I didn't want to touch him just in case. I saw sex workers in the place we raided, I was worried he was...

Klaus hugs me tightly and I frown as I hug him back. "Did they make you..." he nods and my heart breaks. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." he starts to cry and I frown at how traumatised he must have been. On top of everything he has already gone through, to be forced to-

"-I'm ok Crazy-"

"-no, you're not!" I lean back, wiping his eyes.

"I missed you... I needed you... those first few years were so hard... too hard (y/n)... Where were you...?" I start crying myself hearing how hurt Klaus was.

"I should've been here, I'm sorry Klaus." I hold his hands tightly.

"You're here now... please don't leave."

"I'm not going anywhere ok. Forget about what I said about not interacting with this family again. I'll make Five drive me here whenever you want." Klaus chuckles softly. "How about we watch something now together then, catch each other up on the past years we missed out."

"I'd like that. But... the whole thing with the apocalypse-"

"-it wouldn't hurt spending some time together would it? We can save a few hours just for ourselves." I reassure him and we settle back against the plastic-covered couch, finding a movie to play before we go into depth about the past 6 years. More of an in-depth story about Klaus and a bit of mine from the last couple of years.
