Five let me walk into the trailer first, keeping close to me as he walked in after and looked around for any dangers. He sat down in the seat in front of Pogo and I stood next to him, arms crossed as I peaked at Tammy who smoked behind us casually. We both suddenly hear the sound of guns, Tammy aiming one at me from her book and one I think I heard coming from beneath the table pointed at Five by Pogo.
"You're either dumb or desperate. Which is it?"
I would say both but I ain't letting my big mouth get us more into trouble.
"You tell me." Five takes out the slab of skin he's been carrying and slaps it on the table making me shudder. Pogo simply drinks his whiskey and leans over to take a look at the tattoo on the skin before setting his glass down.
He picks it up and furrows his brows in confusion. "That looks like my work, but I never did that tattoo."
"Not yet you haven't." Five says.
"He cut it off his 100-year-old self." I respond back.
"Ah, so desperate it is."
"You would be too if you knew the entire universe were at stake." Five holds my hand and I look down at him when he said that, an anxious look in his eyes. Pogo looks at both of us before his eyes land on our hands, looking at his girlfriend (I think) and he eases up on his defence to put the gun on the table. Tammy lowers her gun as well and I let out a breath of relief I didn't know I was holding.
"So it's happened."
What? What's happened? The Kugelblitz? We knew that. Why does Pogo sound like it's something else!?
Bruh what other danger is there besides a growing black hole!?
Pogo takes out a book and turns the pages before setting it down in front of Five and me. "Here it is. Look familiar?" I peer over with Five as he examines the pages and the tattoo.
"It's the same 8 symbols." I mumble out, letting my boyfriend's hand go to flip the pages and Pogo purses his lips as he looks at me.
"Reggie was obsessed with these symbols. It's a sigil. A symbol thought to have magical powers."
"Maybe not magical powers but alien tech?" I whisper to Five and he glanced at me in confusion.
Right, didn't tell him his dad is from another planet yet.
"I'll tell you after." He nods.
"Dad believed in science, facts. I didn't respect much about the old man, but I respected that. Hoo-haa was not his thing." I hold back my snickers at that.
Hoo-haa, that's funny.
"It's gotta have a rational meaning."
"I don't know, but he referred to it as Project Oblivion." Five goes rigid and I narrow my eyes at him.
He's hiding something when he went to the Commission.
What happened over there?
"This project. I need to know more." I walk off and Tammy offers us some drinks and I simply take some water while Pogo and Five drank their whiskey.
I'm not going through what I did two nights ago.
I let Five and Pogo talk about the project as I leaned against the wall of the trailer, running through my head of what possibly this project could be about. I try to remember back to the first 2 seasons for any sort of hint and then I suddenly remember the one scene with Reggie's wife.
Wait, wait, wait! Is Reggie doing all this to bring his wife back to life!?
"It was a kamikaze mission. He was preparing the sparrow children with the expectation they might never return." I look at Pogo when he said this.
"My Doppel included?" I speak up and he shakes his head.
"You-your other you was the exception. Her powers were dangerous and volatile. She was a hurt child and it made her unpredictable, untrainable." I hold my arms, wondering what my Doppel went through for her to want to kill her family so bad. "That's why I gave the children those pills, to keep them safe from him."
"Well, my druggie brother just got him sober."
"Go figure..." I mumble out.
"Then project oblivion is starting again, and you're all in danger." Pogo and Five down the rest of their drink.
"Then I should probably get that ink. Complete the loop." I perk up seeing Five take his blazer off and I sit down on a seat opposite him to take in the full view.
No way in hell I'm missing the chance of seeing my boyfriend shirtless.
Also, I wanna see him with a tattoo.
"Are you sure?" Pogo asks.
"Oh, I don't think destiny cares whether I am or not." Five sighs out, going to the bed in front of me to sit down. He gives me a smirk as I raise my brow at him, watching him take his vest and tie off. "You're enjoying this," I catch his clothes and set them neatly on my lap as he unbuttons his shirt. "aren't you."
"You know damn well I am." I smirk at Five and he chuckles. I take in the view of his chest, seeing his abs in view and I shudder in my seat.
I really did bag the hottest boy in this universe.
"Well then, let's get started."
"That's a very tacky-looking tattoo." I snicker as Five winces when Pogo puts on the protective sleeves over it.
"Yeah well, it's not supposed to look sexy." I roll my eyes with a smile, standing up to help button up his shirt. Tammy and Pogo left after getting the tattoo done so it was just us, Five holding my hips and pulling me between his legs.
"Hey, no. No funny business. Not it someone's home." Five gives me a sly smile, his fingers peeking beneath my shirt and rubbing up my back. He pulls me closer, leaning his chin on my stomach to look up at me but I step back once the buttons are done. "You can put the rest on." I pass him his clothes and he grumbles in defeat but he perks up when I steal a quick kiss from his lips.
"What was the thing you wanted to tell me?" He asks as he ties his tie and puts his vest on in front of the mirror.
"You know your dads an alien right?" Five looks at me with wide eyes through the mirror as I lean my chin on his shoulder and hug him from behind.
"What?"
"Ok, I forgot to tell you that. He's not human. He's from another planet. Come on, do you not remember yelling out his name back in Dallas at that ball?" Five looked utterly bemused and I step back as he turns around.
"Ok, he's an alien..." he was trying to process this information. "I don't like where this is going." Five follows me as we leave the trailer to get to the motorbike, him starting up the engine.
"Ok I can't remember which season of the show it was but I saw a scene of Reggie's wife dying and him releasing these gold specs from a jar or something. I don't know what those specs are but, ok this might be a long shot, but I think Reggie might be trying to bring his wife back to life." Five raises a brow at me after my whole spew of words.
"At this point, we can't rule anything out. I always thought I knew who that old man was, now... not so much." Five pats the bike in front of him and I sit down with him behind me, him holding my hands on the handle to help me manoeuvre the bike back onto the road. We speed down the empty lanes, Five moving to hold my waist and lean his chin against my shoulder when suddenly the sky darkened like crazy.
"Holy shit-" the world around us turned into the night all of a sudden and Five flips on the headlights.
"What the fuck-" the ground shook, cutting him off but I kept the bike steady. I see a glimpse of a dome of light growing larger and a bad feeling settled in my stomach.
"Five that doesn't look good."
"No, it doesn't..." winds suddenly picked up heavily and rattled against us, everything flying everywhere and I suddenly see my flannel pocket open up to see something white peeking out from it.
"Five can you reach into my flannel pocket please." He leans over and reaches into the pocket, not without grabbing a boob. "Oi!" He chuckles but takes the paper out.
"It's an address to an abandoned drive-in cinema. It's actually nearby here."
"Who put it in my pocket-Viktor..."I frown, remembering him holding me when I was crying and I recognised that surge of power anywhere before it disappeared and the world became sunny again. "I think he's in trouble."
"(Y/n) we have other things to do." I was hesitant, seeing the road turning towards the drive-in and I don't know if I want to go there or to continue back to the hotel.
I mean, the power battle and that scary-looking glowing dome is gone.
Plus we gotta stop the Kugelblitz and now Project Oblivion too.
Maybe he's ok, maybe Viktor is fine...
I begrudgingly drive past the turn, going straight towards the hotel instead.
