And make it up to me, he really did.

After our late-night talk and jumpscare situation with his sibling shopping up out of nowhere, Five made it up to me like he promised he would. He surprised me with little gifts and flowers he buys randomly and brings home, cooking for me on our day offs and helps me with chores on days when I was too tired from work. He surprised me at work with treats and snacks as if he knew that I was craving at that moment, driving me to work and even picking me up no matter how late it was.

Even now, he had taken off work early to pick me up from mine, even though I was scolding him throughout the drive. "I don't want you to get in trouble Five!"

I smack his arm gently as he drives us and he chuckles. "Why are you here!?"

"Too pick you up of course! You've been working for 6 days a week! You must be exhausted, love."

"No, I meant why did you bail out from work!?"

"Because I can." Five grins at me cheekily. "I can do filing, reports, researching and recon from home as well as from the office. So I just said I'll do the rest at home." he shrugs like it was no problem at all.

"Five!"

"(y/n)!" he mimics me and I huff. "Sweetheart, I clocked off in time to come pick you up, so I thought we could go home together. I don't want you catching the trains after you fell asleep on one and missed your stop."

"You don't need to bring that up all the time!" I gasp in embarrassment and my sweet assassin laughs.

"I'm never going to let you live that down, (y/n)." he chuckles and I stick my tongue at him. We stop at a red light and he quickly leans over to kiss me before pulling back just as quickly making me blink at him when he continues driving once it was a green light. He snickers as I fluster and grumpily sit back in my seat, him cooing and pinching my cheek at how cute I was. I scolded him and he just smiles, turning the radio on for us to listen to some songs.

I thought we were going home but we drive up into a Costco, Five parking the car before we both jump out. "Why are we here?" I ask and he taps my chin up affectionately.

"We need to do some grocery shopping obviously, sweets." He muses, taking my hand and pulling me along with him to the front while taking a trolley. "Get in sweets." He nods to the trolley and I quickly sit on the front excitedly which makes him chuckle.

"Wheeee!" I throw my arms up as my boyfriend leisurely walks around with me on the trolley down the aisle, asking me what we were missing from home as we shopped for the essentials. He was cracking jokes about the brand names, making quick maths to see which was worth our money since I took too long to do it and gave me snacks from the free sample tables. I wanted to switch and let Five ride in the trolley, pushing him to sit down as I ran through the aisles and jumped on the trolley to skid through the empty hallways.

"(Y/n)!" Five freaks out when we come close to crashing but I manoeuvred us out of the way easily and he starts to enjoy the free ride as I speed through the aisles while looking for stuff we need.

"Ooo! Can we get this!" I see the tub of cream puffs I absolutely loved, haven't eaten one in years since the Costco in Australia stopped selling them! I look at Five as he makes a decision but I frown and put them back which makes him blink at me.

"Hey no, put it back on the trolley. We can get it."

"You'll eat it with me?" I look at him with wide eyes.

"Of course, I will sweetheart." He smiles at me, pecking my lips and putting the tub in the trolley along with my favourite ice cream. Reloaded up on sweets, cookies, little cakes and brownies to last us weeks. "You wanna eat anything from here?" Five asks while we were in line to ring our stuff up, the cafeteria in front of us.

"Um..." I squint, looking at the menu and he laughs softly, pushing my glasses up on my nose.

"What are you craving?"

"Something small to be honest. I'm not too hungry."

"I can order fries and a fudge sundae for you." He says and I quickly nod.

"What are you getting?"

"I might try the pizza and the churros."

"Sounds good!"

We get through to paying for our stuff and lugging it in our trolley again, Five ordering our food while I looked for a place to sit. I find a table and sit down, looking at my boyfriend getting our food in a tray and bringing it over as he sets it down in the table and sits next to me as I snuggle to his side immediately. He chuckles and hands me my food, holding up the giant slice of pizza to me and I look at him in confusion.

"I know you want to try it." He teases.

It was true....

I take a bite and it was good pizza for being cheap, greasy but good. I pass some of my fries to Five and we eat together, telling him to dunk his fries in my sundae promising it would taste good. He was sceptics but tried it, his eyes going wide at the yummy contrast.

"It's good!"

"See, I told you!"

I give my fries to Five when I couldn't finish it and he happily eats it, letting me try his churro while I eat my sundae too. He kisses my cheek when he finishes eating and gets up to throw away our rubbish, coming back to let me sit on the trolley and eat my sundae as he wheeled us back to the car. I finish my sweet treat and help him put our stuff in the trunk while I get in the front passengers and he goes to put the trolley away before climbing into the driver's side to take us home.

"You had fun, sweets?"

"Yes! Nothing beats a Costco run. It's so much fun." I grin at him and he smiles brightly.

"I'm glad. Let's get home, you shower and relax and I'll cook tonight."

"Can I cook with you?" He looks at me with a smile.

"You wanna learn something new today?" I nod and he coos at how cute I was but I glare at him. "Alright, grumpy. Yes, you can cook with me. I'll teach you something new tonight."

"Yes!"

"My, love. Wake up." I groan softly as I open my eyes to see Five kneeling down in front of me as I lay in the bed, a smile on his face while he chuckles. "There she is. Rise and shine sweets."

"What time is it...?"

"Around 11." He caresses my cheek with his hand and I lean into his touch. "Tired from work yesterday?" I nod and he reaches over to massage my back a little.

"I'm ok though. It wasn't too bad..." I hum and he nods with relief.

"Well, are you up to going out today?" This piqued my interest, making me more awake in excitement.

"You have a day off today too?" He nods with a grin since it's been a couple weeks since we actually went out together besides coming home together from work. "Yes I want to go out with you!"

He laughs softly in amusement and brings out two tickets to hand to me as I sit up in bed, him kissing my thighs and my chest while I read over the tickets. "They're for a cherry blossom festival that's happening in a few suburbs over." He leans up to look at me happily as he pulls me closer by my ass.

"Cherry blossoms!? Here!?" I gasp and he nods, chuckling lightly against my neck when he presses light kisses there before pulling back to press kisses along my jaw.

"There's a botanical garden specifically that has these trees to bloom during spring. How about we get you dolled up, train it there, enjoy the festival and go out for dinner after. My treat." I blush as Five leans back to look at me, his fingers combing back my hair back with lovesick smile.

"That sounds amazing." I nod and he grins wider.

"Then it's a date, my love." He stands up and pulls me up along with him before patting me off to the bathroom so I could freshen up and brush my teeth. I get ready quickly, putting on light makeup and brushing my hair out before slipping on a new floral dress Five got me knowing I loved them. It was a corseted one, a soft white a blue dress that was off shoulder and went down to my ankles.

Don't need to shave my legs today.

I put on some high socks and my converse, quickly packing my little day bag-that has all my essentials-and rush out of the bedroom. My boyfriend's cheeks and ears flush seeing me in the dress, eyes wide as he couldn't take them off me and I fluster from his reaction. This was the first time I showed this dress on me and I think he really likes it from the way he looks me up and down.

"Fuck, (y/n)... you're stunning." He breathes out and I smack his chest lightly which makes him pout at me. "Is that how you repay my love and compliments?" He teases, grabbing my hands to pull me against his chest before his hands perch on my waist tightly.

"Ok ok... thank you Five. You look really handsome." I grin, loving the white button shirt and beige slacks. It's hard to explain but he looks softer this way, in lighter colours than his dark blues and blacks that make him look unapproachable. I press a soft kiss on his cheek, leaving behind a print of my lipstick and he had a lovesick smile on his face as he stares down at me while I shyly pat his collar down. He quickly pecks my nose before he takes us out of our apartment and towards his car, his hand never letting mine go and holding tight.

We get in and Five drives us to the station, parking the car and we get out to go down to the subway. I always avoided taking the train since the lines always confuse me but he taught me which one to go on. We get onto our train, sitting together and I snuggle with my boyfriend as we catch each other up about what's happening at work, me gossiping about the tea and him just telling me what missions he has been going on. Yes, they're supposed to be confidential but I knew how to keep a secret.

Cause I always forget them after.

I yawn softly and Five brushes my hair. "Still tired?" I nod. "Go to sleep sweets, I'll wake you up when we get here." I take up on that offer immediately and lean my head on his shoulder to take a quick nap.

It was going to be another 30 minutes so why not. I doze off for a while until my love woke me up, coaxing me out of the train and holding my hand as I yawned while he called an Uber for us to take us to the cherry blossom festival. It was better this way since apparently there wouldn't be any parking whatsoever. I just nod, becoming really, really, hungry! We got there and there were so many people! All walking in and out of the garden or taking pictures of the cherry blossom trees or of the hello kitty mascot interacting with the kids.

"This place is huge!" I exclaim, looking up at Five when he suddenly taps my shoulder and points somewhere past me.

"Look, there's a peacock."

"Where!?" I whip my head around and lo and behold, there was one preening and posing on top of the shed roof. There were people taking pictures and yes, I was one of them. I took a few and followed my boyfriend down the path to where our tickets got scanned. Good thing he got them cause this festival was sold out.

There were two paths in front of us, the short 10 minute walkthrough and the 30 minute walkthrough. "Which one sweets?" Five asks me.

"30 minute of course! We need to make most of your money you spent to get the tickets!"

"It wasn't much. Only $15 each."

"Oh. Yeah that's not much but still! Let's go!" I pull him along happily and he holds my hand tightly as we walk casually through the path winding through the entirety of the garden. The first wind was on the side of this beautiful pond and I started taking pictures, walking slowly to enjoy how pretty the blossoms were. There were too many people but you can't do much about that since it's the last day of work the festival.

"Sweets, let's take a picture." I blink at Five when he suggested to take one for the first time ever and I don't pass on it at all! We decide to take a selfie beneath a cherry blossom tree, the both of us smiling and another where I fluster when he kisses my cheek.

"You're such a dork." I chuckle and he just smiles brightly at me.

"You want one of you only?" I shake my head at his request and we continue walking over a red bridge with a beautiful waterfall. Small but cute. I quickly took pictures while we walked over since we weren't allowed to stop by the staff, following along behind the crowd as we took more pictures of the pond that started to clearly reemerge.

"Look at the bird (y/n)." Five pulls me along to the front and I see this cute bird building its nest in the water as it floated along!

"Awe! Look at the hard working boy." I take a video of the pond and of the bird building its nest. "Birb."

We continue walk after that around large round shrubs and bushes with beautiful roses and different coloured flowers. I had to take a picture of that, and of Five as he stood beneath the flowers. Oh he looked so cute! I skip towards him happily and snuggle his arm as he holds my waist to pull me along beneath a stone frame and Torii Gate. I gasp when I see the long winding path of cherry blossom trees winding over like a pink flowery tunnel. It was beautiful! I immediately start taking pictures and videos, taking some more of my lovely boyfriend as he stood beneath a tree and smiled for me. I skipped on ahead of him after to take. picture of the entire path from the otherside, smiling when I see my sweet assassin smile as he walks towards me.

"You got a flower in your hair." he chuckles softly as he brushes my hair with his fingers, pecking my lips. "Want a picture with the cherry blossoms?" as cheesy and touristy as it was, I really wanted one. I nod and Five asks a stranger to take a picture of the both of us, the first picture of us smiling for the camera beneath the blossoms and the next one of him turning me around to steal a quick kiss form me making me blush red. He laughs softly and taps my chin up affectionately as he takes his phone back after thanking the stranger. "Come on, there's a forest of bamboos next around the corner." my boyfriend takes my hand and pulls me along while I blush at him at how brazen he was to do that but I loved it anyway.

We enjoyed walking around the small bamboo forest, my sweet assassin pulling some smart and unique ways to picture them before we ended up finishing the walkthrough. I was surprised that we were in there for more than an hour but it was worth the money.

"Theres a little zoo! Lets go!" I tug Five towards the zoo and even though it was a small sanctuary with a few animals, it was all worth it getting a very closeup of a peacock. Oh my god he was beautiful, colours vibrant against the dreary day that was unfortunately a little bit dull. I took pictures of him and he feathers out his tail wide and I loved it. I turn to my boyfriend to see him looking at it mesmerised. I assumed it was his first time at seeing these kinds of animals and I was glad he was enjoying himself, taking a sneaky picture of him. "Let's go eat! Theres a food area nearby with different trucks and snacks." This immediately breaks my sweet assassin out of his reverie and he quickly nods. We both were starving and hightailed it to the large foodie area. "There's no bloody way!" I laugh when I see a Hello Kitty mascot dancing. onstage and singing Lady Gaga Songs. "This is so wild!" I took a video of the performance, before we headed to the first truck. "Should we take a look at whats there and then decide?"

"Yeah let's do that. Whatever you want, we can get." Five grins down at me and kisses the top of my head as we walked around.

"I want to try everything!" I scrunch my nose at how many options there were.

"We can always share, sweets." my love chuckles and I grin up at him.

"Yes!"

"Ok, which ones do you want to eat?" he asks me, taking his wallet out to pay. He remembered to bring cash and I forgot. We were trying to avoid the card surcharges.

"Oi, you have to tell me the total after so we can split ok." I point at him and he nods with a chuckle. "I want to try tokayaki, karaage chicken, and that pork Katsu curry."

"How about the 9 plus wagyu beef cube?" Five muses and I blink at him.

"What!? Where was that!?" he holds my jaw to make me look at the blue truck. "No way. How much was it?"

"28 dollars for a marbled cube." I grimace when my boyfriend mentions the price.

"Not surprised but damn. I don't know. I feel like you're gonna ruin yourself after eating something so luxurious, like nothing else after that will compare."

He nods in agreement. "You know, you're right. Maybe we can skip on that. Ill take you on a trip to Japan then so we can experience that together." I gawk at his words as he starts to walk off to get our savoury food.

I go find a place to sit on the ledge by the long pond, enjoying the sun the started to shine through finally until Five came back with all the food. "They all look so good!" He smiles and sets them down on the ledge and sits down with me as we tried the food-after I took pictures obviously.

"I got something for you cause I knew you'd think it's cute." My sweet assassin says as he pulls out this adorable little bottle in a shape of a man with sparkly pink juice inside!

"He's so cute! I love him!" I gasp and take my little man. "What drink is it?"

"Peach and aloe Vera." Five explains and he opens my little man for me so I could put a straw in to take a drink.

"Mhm! It's refreshing!" I give him a sip and he nods in agreement.

"Theres like jelly at the bottom too." He points out, snacking on the food.

"Thank you!" I beam at my boyfriend and he coos at how cute I was as he pinches my cheek but I gently wack his hand away so I could continue to eat. He chuckles and eats with me, having most of the food since I didn't want to get full yet. I wanted to try the sweets too.

"You want dessert too, my love?" I nod quickly and he chuckles, wiping his thumb against the current of my lips. "What would you like?"

"Hmm I saw fried ice cream and churros. I don't want too much."

"Fried ice cream and churros it is, sweets. I'll be back. Five pecks my lips quickly before getting up to go get our dessert. He comes back in no time and nestles down right next to me.

We shared the yummy churros and fried ice cream, enjoying the cold treat with the sun starting to blaze down on us. We sat back together and just talked after we had our feast, feeling lazy as I snuggled against my boyfriend when he pulls my legs over his lap. We talk about nothing and about everything, enjoying the warm air until we decide to head out. I hold his hand tightly as we leave the garden and he orders an Uber to take us back to the train station, getting in the car and driving off.

"Damn, it really was a good idea to not try and find parking." I mumble when I look over the full streets with lines of parked cars. It took us a bit longer for us to get to the station due to the traffic with everyone trying to leave but it wasn't too bad, Five helping me out of the car and we head to our platform.

"You still up for dinner, my love?" He asks as we get on our train and sit down on seats together.

"Mhm... not really. Tiny bit maybe."

"What are you craving? Something sweet but not too much."

"How about we go to a dessert restaurant. We can order a small appetiser and your sweet craving. I promise to share with you."

"Ok!"

"Perfect. I had the reservations booked anyway." Five grins cheekily and I smack his chest playfully and he pinches my nose.

"What would've happened if I said no!?"

He just shrugs. "Doesn't matter. I could always just cancel the reservation. I don't mind doing whatever unless it's with you."

"You're being a real cheese ball today."

"I can't help it! I have the most beautiful girlfriend ever and of course I want to spend time with her and spoil her rotten." He coos in my ear and I flush, smacking his arm this time and he just laughs. "Alright I'll stop the teasing, my love."

"You better!"

"You're just adorable when you blush like this." He purrs as he kisses my cheek. I flick his forehead and he chuckles with a light wince while rubbing the spot. "Alright alright, you little feisty minx." He just pulls me close by my waist and I snuggle against his side.

I couldn't lie, I did like his teasing and having his attention on me.

We got to our stop and Five lead the way to the restaurant he booked for us. It had gotten dark really quickly and really cold as the biting winds blew around everything. My sweet assassin took his jacket off and turn me around to put my arms through the sleeves, zipping it up tight on me and kissing my nose before taking my hand to get us walking again. I was just a blush mess, this entire day him just affecting me with his affection and I struggled to process it. He takes me inside the restaurant and I sigh in relief to escape the wind as we sit down at our table. I tug my boyfriend to sit next to me instead of in front of me, him beaming down at me and nestled next to me.

"Feeling warm?" Five asks and I nod, looking over the menu for what I wanted. "What would you like, my love?"

"I want to try a milkshake!"

"That's very filling, sweets."

"You can share with me! We can get them to put two straws like in those cliche old rom coms!" I gasp and my boyfriend just snickers.

"Alright, we can do that. I'll get some bruschetta to share for us both as a savoury appetiser then."

He orders for the both of us when the server comes by to take them, relaxing together and talking about what's been going on at work. I look up at Five as he plays with my fingers, gently spinning the ring he gave me. He takes my hand to kiss the back of it and the ring and I just blush.

He was going to make me turn into a tomato at this point!

He smirks at me seeing my reaction and I huff at him which makes him snicker before stealing a quick kiss from my lips. "Five!" I hiss softly but he steals another kiss from me. "Not out here-" he kisses me sweetly this time, his lips pressing so gently against mine almost as if he was afraid to do more. He kisses me softly and in a gentle and languid manner, pulling back just enough to brush his lips against mine as he bumps his nose against mine.

I could see his cheeks and the tips of his ears turn pink and I giggle, leaning up to press a light kiss on his lips this time. We shared short sweet kisses here and there until our orders came along, pulling away and clearing our throat in slight embarrassment.

We shared the bruschetta and I tried the milkshake. "Holy shit! This is like, really decadent!" I clear my throat. It was delicious and sweet but damn.

"What did you expect to get a milkshake with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and New York cheesecake bits?" Five muses.

"I didn't think it would be crazy sweet! I know the Nutella one would've been hell after the first sip! Hold on, where's the cheesecake bits?" I spin the straw around, trying to drink the milkshake but the straw was clogged so I pull it up to see a giant chunk of cheesecake lodged at the end.

"There's your cheesecake bit." My boyfriend teases. I roll my eyes and pass the glass to him to try. He loves the milkshake and we share the late night treats together, just enjoying our time.
