"Love...?" I mumble out and Five hums softly against my shoulder to let me know he was listening, his lips pressed against my neck as he stood between my legs in front of me while I was still perched up on a counter.

"Yes sweetheart?" He whispers, his hands stroking my bare thighs blissfully.

"I was just wondering..." I start and he leans back to look at me as his hands run over my hips to pull me closer to him, nuzzling his nose against mine. "about my Doppel..."

"What were you thinking about?" He presses a kiss on my forehead and I blush.

"Her name was (y/n) Hargreeves in Reggies journal right... and she was the 8th superhero kid he apparently adopted for the Sparrow kids-"

"-and Fei apparently recognised you as her sister but she said you died so I guess they knew about the explosion somehow?" Five says and I nod.

"Did he actually buy me off from my parents who aren't actually my parents or..." my brows furrow, my mind reeling at the single possible question I had. "Was my Doppel Reggies actual daughter? Like was she actually his blood-related daughter?" Five raises a brow at me, looking away in thought.

"That old bitter man? No way. Who would even dare to have a kid with him?"

Wouldn't he like to know.

"Even so, it's still a possibility. We still don't know anything about my Doppel and how to stop losing bits of myself to Her every time I get angry."

"We'll find a way (y/n)... we just need to try and get to the Commission, figure out the missing people and why the suitcases aren't working. Maybe that way, we can watch the Infinity Switch Board and see what your Doppel was like." I nod and quickly peck Five one more time before shuffling his hands off me gently.

He frowns at me when I gently move him back so I could jump down from the table. "We got work to do." I chuckle and he sighs.

"Yeah I know."

"Where is Lila anyway? Is she still mad?" I open the door, the both of us walking out into the empty hallway. "I'll go look for her." I say.

"I'll try and see if I can do anything else to fix the suitcase." My greedy boyfriend leans down to peck my lips one last time and I smile against his lips before stepping back and walking off, yelling goodbye to him over my shoulder as he grins at me and I turn around the corner.

I jog down the stairs, getting confused when I hear singing and spot Luther and Diego talking in the foyer, skipping over to them. "What are you two arguing about? And what's with the glass bottles?" I peer into the crate Diego was holding and he moves it away from me.

"Big man here is making a lovey dovey mixtape for the enemy and these bottles are for Molotov cocktails." Diego says and I narrow my eyes at Luther, snatching the headphones off him and listening to 'Lady in Red'.

"Luther! What did I bloody tell you about the incest! Stop dating within the academies!" I exclaim and Diego bursts out laughing.

"Oh that's a good one!" He laughs as he walks off continuing to collect glass bottles while Luther frowns at me.

"But I love her! We could get married, buy a dog, grow old on a porch." He says dreamily.

"Ok go off delulu, I guess." I shrug, walking away as well to continue looking for Lila and head to Diego to ask him.

"Oi, where's the baby mama?" I ask him and he blinks at me.

"Beats me."

"Who?" Luther asks when he joins us.

"Lila." I explain and his eyes widen.

"She's here!? What else did I miss while I was kidnapped!?" I shrug at his words, not sure what he was caught up in.

"You know about Viktor?" I ask and he quickly nods.

"It's a pretty big deal, right?" He asks.

"I guess, for him. It's whatever." Diego answers nonchalant. I just follow the boys along in between them.

"Well, should we say something?" Luther sounds so clueless. "You know? I mean, make a formal gesture? Welcome him as brothers." I laugh in my hand at that idea.

He's so cute but so... lost.

"God, no. Just roll with it, man!" Diego grimaces. "Don't say anything, and don't be weird."

"Ok. But not saying something feels weird, right?"

"You just wanna throw a party." Diego stops and looks at Luther.

I raise a brow at Luther as he throws his hands up in the air. "It's a special occasion for him! We should show him that we accept him... I mean... Shouldn't we, I don't know... mark the occasion somehow?"

"I agree. I want to throw a party cause why not." I grin and Luther pats my head.

"See, even (y/n) agrees! Don't hate on tiny sandwiches."

"Hey, what's up?" Viktor suddenly pops up next to me and I step away in fright from the sudden scare but I smile at him.

"Luther wants to throw you a big, stupid party so you feel loved." Diego blurts out, ruining the surprise and me and Luther glare at him.

Viktor just smiles brightly, looking at us three. "Oh."

"Do you feel loved?" Diego says and I smack his arm making him flinch with a quiet ow.

Luther couldn't stop beaming and Viktor laughs happily. "Yeah, I... I do."

"Good. You are. Can we all get back to saving the world now?" Diego smiles at Viktor before walking off and I yell out to him.

"Thanks for ruining the surprise!" I roll my eyes but then to Viktor and I glomp him in a hug cause I wanted to. "Ya know, we all love you. You're one of my babies!" He laughs lightly as he squeezes me back. Luther then suddenly joins in, picking us both up. "Luther, I love you but you're gonna break my bones here!" I wheeze out and he quickly apologises before putting Viktor and me down.

"Sorry!"

"Ok, it was nice catching up with you both but I have to go find Lila. Bye guys!" I run off, waving goodbye to Viktor and Luther. I head back to where Five was waiting for me in the electrical room after trying to find Diego's girlfriend to see her already with my boyfriend setting up the suitcase. "Girl, where the fuck were you!? I was looking around the whole hotel for you!"

"Sorry, went to grab some lunch while you two were snogging it up in here." Lila smirks as she passes Five pliers to hold and I blush. She holds the pliers with him and I take a quick stepback as the wires spark dangerously.

"That doesn't look safe." I mumble and Lila nods.

"No, it doesn't! Enough foreplay!"

"This is so stupid...." Five sighs out and I watch anxiously as he looks at me once more before closing his eyes to gather his powers.

"Power up, shithead." The two hold hands and I cover my face as Five's powers pulse around the suitcase, him groaning in pain as it grows bigger.

"Let me in!" Lila hisses out in pain, trying to help.

"I can't! It's too much!" Five yells back and I quickly move away when the power between them grows larger.

"Don't bitch out on me now!"

"I hate you so much!" Five yelps out in agony and I purse my lips in fear. I know I couldn't do anything to help, I had no way of helping them with this.

"Then get this right, or it's you and me in the Stone Age forever!" Lila screams out, the both of them straining and they try to control the jump. Five looks at me as I hold the necklace for reassurance.

"Come back to me Five!" I call out over the electrical crackling and he nods.

"Now! Do it now!" Lila screams out and I close my eyes as the blue light almost blinds me, the crackling and the heat of the bubble zapping and warping until the two time jumpers who were screaming in pain disappear. I slowly look up and purse my lips, holding my arms to see the room empty.

For the love of God, please be safe Five.

I was walking towards the foyer to try and get my worried mind to stop thinking about Five, needing something to relieve my stress. I was worried about him but I knew I didn't have to be. He always comes back. No matter what, no matter how long it takes he always comes back. If not for me... then for his family.

I shake my head as I head down the stairs, suddenly hearing mumbles and gasps so I peer over the second floor banister to see the front doors spin around to let the Sparrow kids-in their little stereotypical superhero latex suits-into the hotel. "Oh, shit..." I purse my lips when I see Fei glare up at me and I cross my arms as I narrow my eyes back at her. She flinches lightly and quickly looks away and I raise a brow at that.

Are the Sparrows afraid of Her?

Fei clearly is. And maybe for good reason too...

I quickly walk down the stairs to stand with the family opposite the Sparrows, an even 5 on 5 if you count out the 3D geometry shape named Chris. People were taking pictures of the Sparrows since they were famous, and I let the families hash it out in sarcastic comments.

"Where's our brother?" Ben looks at me and I frown.

I told him already back at the house!

"Maybe we should try this again before I lose my temper." Allison hisses and I glare at her.

"Like I said back at the mansion," I turn back to face Ben who was actually listening to me. "we don't have him." I speak up, Allison sneering at me.

"And you have the briefcase you wanted." Jayme rolls her eyes. "So I guess deals off."

I look over at Sloane and she's trying to mouth something at Luther and me. Sheena was looking at me desperately and I realise she was begging me to run.

"Oh 'run'!" Luther says when he understood her.

"Molotov this, bitches!" I quickly turn around in confusion when I see Stanley running towards us down the hallway with a lit petrol bomb.

"Stanley! Not now!" Diego scolds him and I facepalm as the kid literally just drops the bomp onto a banner, causing it to burst into flames.

"Great parenting Diego..." I mutter out, people screaming and yelling out about the fire as they run away from the foyer and outside for safety from the flames. My head was starting to pound from the noise of the screams and the yelling, the fire alarm ringing piercing through my head and I grit my teeth in pain from the noises. The screaming and the blaring in my ears was making my head hurt worse.

"(y/n)... are you ok?" Viktor mutters out in concern and worry as I grip my head with a loud grunt.

"No!" I hiss out and the Sparrows flinch back when I look at them.

"Ben... we shouldn't..." Alfonso gulps, looking straight at me and I feel something drop down my cheeks. I touch it and look at my fingers to see black ink and I panic when I start hearing Her.

"Diego, get your kid out of here!" I snap at him and his eyes widen. "Now!" he quickly picks up his son and takes him somewhere safer.

"Now, Chris!" Fei calls out. "Do it before she turns!" I turn back to them to see the cube warble and pain as it starts to glow bright red, this piercing ringing suddenly killing my head. I shriek out in pain from the ear-splitting feedback in my head, from the noise that deafened me and I scream as the frequency turns higher and starts to make my ears bleed.

"(y/n)!" I hear Viktor faintly call out to me when I crumble to the floor but all I heard was the feedback and the painful screeching of pain in my ears, my head twitching as I felt claws dig into my scalp.

"Kill them!" Jayme hisses and I scream out when my vision darkens again, panicking knowing I was losing control to Her as I felt her claw her way out.

"NO!" I shake my head, trying to keep her away but all I could hear were Her screams in my ears and I looked at my family to warn them. But Chris was hurting them too as they fall to the floor, the feedback making them cry out in pain and I snarl, Her anger boiling from the agony and mine from the Sparrows hurting my family.

"They Will All Die!"

"No, I can't!" I gasp as I shake my head, knowing I can't let her take over or She'll hurt everyone. But my vision fades as I lose to her and I fall into darkness, suffocated out and losing to her.

"You're Pathetic."

"Ben... it's her! I told you we shouldn't!" Fei hisses out in fear.

I scream out loudly as I reach a hand out for my family to help them, my eyes rolling back and I fall into the depths.

No...

Darkness seeped from my body, crawling over my arms as claws sink into the ground, turning my head to face my wretched family with a sick twisted smile.

"Long Time No See, My Family..." Ink dripped from my black eyes, ripping my claws from the ground as I slowly stand up. Ink pooled around me and I raise my hand, the pool bubbling and gurgling in an angry rising tide before I flick my wrist. The darkness race across the floor in seconds without anyone able to comprehend what's happening before it shoots up to encase Chris in a dome, him shrieking and fizzing as the feedback releases the other people from the floor behind me. I roll my shoulders, tilting my head as I see the fear in my family.

"Someone tell me what the fuck is going on here!?" the knife man screams out when he runs back to join the strangers behind me, him looking at me with wide eyes as the others slowly get up from the floor in fear.

"(y/n)... please..." the smaller male next to me begs but I focused on the traitors I used to call family.

"They Will All Die!" I step forward and rip my jaw open to screech at them, the frequency making them all scream out in pain as black spikes rise up like a wall behind me and fly forward to snap around their throats, them choking as I slowly closed my clawed fist.

"(y/n) stop!" the big monkey man behind me yells out and I snap my head to look at him without turning my body, them scrambling away from me from the loud cracking.

"(y/n) please don't do this!" the smaller male begs, his eyes lighting up white as his powers glowed around him. "I don't want to hurt you!"

"Pathetic." I move my body around to face them, hovering above them to rip their heads off their bodies when someone yells out.

"Duck!" everyone screams again when a burst of energy suddenly erupts from in front of me. I quickly bring up a wall to protect myself from the light but I screech out from the burning blast, the lights blinding me as it rips through my wall and through me. I wail out in pain, covering my eyes as I get thrown back and skid across the floor.

"Jayme! Alphonso!" I hear someone scream out before another yells to fall back.

"(y/n)!" I cry as I blink away the burning light, curling into a ball as Klaus runs up to me and falls to his knees to help me up. "You're ok." He looks terrified for me as he held me to his chest, holding my head gently against his shoulder as he hugged me.

The same way I comforted him when he came back from the war...

He tried to comfort me as I cry in pain, him calling out for Five. My head was pounding in and my whole body hurt, the feeling of claws in my head subsides.

She took over again...

I look over Klaus' shoulder as I held him tightly, seeing an old man I didn't recognise as the family stood up and walked over to him.

"Hey! Don't you dare pass out!" Klaus shakes me, holding my face but I was too tired and slumped in his arms.
