Five and I both wait anxiously as the shaking slowly stopped, the door opening to reveal Vanya. "Five? What are you doing here? Is (y/n) here?" She asks and he nods, squeezing my shoulders before letting me go.

"Yeah, she is." He looks at me and his sister smiles brightly. She was still shaking slightly but was slowly calming down from her panic attack and I was glad for the rumbling to have stopped.

"Hey Vanya!" Five becomes my translator and she lets us inside the cabin, The Boy letting me walk in first before he did as he held the door open for us.

"I'll get you some coffee." Vanya leaves the living room to head to the kitchen and her brother whips his head around to face me.

"Spill. Now." He demands and I roll my eyes.

"Jesus Christ. Chill mate." Five glares at me and I raise my hands in defence. "Ok, ok. You don't remember this cause y'all were literal babies but Vanya has powers. Obviously. Why else was she adopted by Reggie for? Her abilities were too powerful and Reggie grew to fear it since he couldn't get Vanya to listen to him."

Five opened his mouth to ask a question but I cut him off. "Let me explain first then ask. Reggie didn't know how else to keep others safe and Vanya safe except by making her believe she didn't have powers. Wrong move by the way. Screws us all over in the end. He made Allison rumour Vanya to believe she was ordinary and got her to take pills to suppress them just in case." Vanya comes back with Five's and I's cup of coffee and leaves again to get some snacks for us. "So skip through time and Vanya meets Jenkins who is obsessed with you guys. He found your dad's notebook about Vanya's powers in the dumpster Klaus chucked away, gets close to her and gets her powers to resurface after taking her pills away."

"So what are her powers?" Five whispers, sitting down on the couch and I perch up on the arms.

"You'll find out." Vanya soon comes back with a plate of snacks and sits down on the chair in front of us, a smile on her face and a look of relief.

"So what brings you out here?"

"I believe that the person who causes the apocalypse is here." Five quickly pipes up, lying.

"In this small town? That seems a little odd."

"Well, our whole life seems odd, with us having powers and such." Five hints at Vanya. "What was happening right now, the shaking, was that you?" His sister quickly nods, worry flashing across her face.

"Uh yeah. I have powers too! I thought I was ordinary this entire time but I guess I've had them since. They were just buried."

"That's great Vanya. What are your powers exactly?" Five asks her and she rubs her neck nervously.

"Uh, when I focus on a specific sound, I can amplify it and use it to move things around me."

Her brother glances at me in shock. "So you manipulate sound waves." He mumbles out and I nod.

"Yep, she's the whole deal. If she can manipulate sound waves, she can manipulate particles, aka matter aka herself and other things and people in a variety. She's OP basically." I sigh out, trying to remember what my physics teacher taught me but coming up empty.

"Since sound waves are just vibrating particles." Five murmurs out, obviously understanding.

"I guess that is what you would call it. I haven't had time to get a hang of it or get it under control but Leonard is helping me a lot."

"Make sure to look confused. Vanya never told you about her 'boyfriend'." I whisper to Five with air quotes and he nods.

"Oh! You don't know who Leonard is! He's a guy that I've been spending a lot of time with." I get up from the couch and let Five deal with listening to Vanya talk about a guy she thinks she's in love with.

"I need to find Reggie's notebook." I walk around the cabin in search of the notebook, trying to find the bathroom and I finally find it to see Jenkin's bag gone. "Oh come on!" I groan and walk back to the living room to see Five asking multiple questions, especially about Jenkins. Vanya was beaming, seeing one of her siblings finally take an interest in her life even if it wasn't for the reason she thought.

"So he's some sort of woodworker?" I pipe up and Five translates for me as his sister spills about her boyfriend.

"In a way yes. He makes furniture but he loves to make wooden figurines. He made that one for me." She points to the tiny violinist figure sitting on the mantle and I walk up to it, admiring the handiwork.

Have to admit guys got skills. 

"It's adorable!"

It really is, I ain't lying about that.

"So where is Leonard?" I ask and Vanya shrugs as Five translates.

"I'm not sure. He was gone when I went to practice my violin for a bit for my performance."

"Oh my god, you got first chair! I knew you could do it!" Vanya grins at my enthusiasm, even though woman in first chair was murdered by Jenkins, I'm not taking that away from her. "So is your first performance tomorrow?"

"It is! I invited all of you so I got tickets for everyone!"

"I would love to come Vanya! Listening to you play is one of my favourite things to do." She smiles brightly at my words while picking up the empty cups to put them away in the sink after our conversation.

"You both can stay here until we leave. I'm sure Leonard wouldn't mind! I've been hoping to introduce you both to him!" She calls out from the kitchen.

"We appreciate that Vanya, thank you." Five yells back and then he turns back to me. "So now what?"

"Now we help Vanya keep a cool head 'cause shit is really about to go down. Especially when Allison gets here." He purses his lips and nods. "Until then, I'm taking a nap." I quickly lay down, placing my head on Five's lap with a pillow which makes him stiffen up in surprise at my move but relaxes as he gently lays his hand on my head. "Make sure to wake me up later."

"You really love to sleep." He chuckles lowly as I closed my eyes and slept on my side facing him, humming out in bliss while he ran his fingers through my hair. I fall into a deep sleep to his fingers brushing against my cheek, to such gentle touches that make me feel warm in his arms.

"You knew this whole time? That I had powers!?" I quickly sit up straight with a loud gasp when I suddenly hear yelling, wiping the drool off my face when I see Vanya and Allison fighting in front of me.

"Oh shit! I'm too late!" I quickly get up and notice Five was gone. "Where is he!? He was supposed to wake me up before this happened!"

"You are special, with or without powers-"

"-don't... Don't say that!"

"No, no, no, no, no!" I stand by the girls, unsure of what to do to calm them down when I was goddamn invisible to them!.

"You destroyed my life!" Vanya screams out as Allison scoffs and I glare at her.

"Oh, please, Vanya. Everything is out in the open. We can move on!" They keep yelling at each other and I'm frantically looking around for Five, wishing he was here.

Where the fuck is he!?

"Look me in the eye and tell me you're not threatened now." the area around us suddenly starts to shake and vibrate as things move and shuffle around, a low rumbling building across the ground as winds picked up to blow things around.

"I don't want to argue with you-"

"-then go!" Vanya yells out, her anger amplifying the sound waves around her.

Windows start to break and a sudden force pushes into me that makes me gasp out in pain. "I'm only trying to help you-"

"-I don't want your help!" Vanya yells back. "I said go!" She screams out, the lightbulbs above us shattering. Everything around us starts to move as pulses of waves crash into me. I stumble over my feet as Vanya and Allison stay standing still, another wave pushing me off my feet and I keel over.

"What the fuck is happening-" I wince out in pain as the familiar pounding headache comes back, the ringing a shrill sound in my ears and I grip my head in pain. I try to push through it and stand up but I fall back down on my knees when my whole body goes numb. "Vanya!" I scream out in pain as the skin on my body feels like it's burning and being ripped apart, my vision blurring out as the world spun. My body was vibrating from Vanya's sound waves which increased in sound and became more powerful, the frequency piercing through my head and controlling my matter unconsciously as I phased in and out of view. "Vanya please!" I cry out in agony and she suddenly turns to look directly at me, her powers coming down a few notches.

"(y/n)?" I look up to see her looking straight at me with wide eyes. "I... I can see you!" She quickly runs up to me and helps me up on my feet. "I can physically hold you now!"

"How...?" I whimper out and turn to see Allison looking at me with confusion but turns back to Vanya.

"I didn't want to do this..."

She's not going to do it.

Bitch you better stop!

Allison takes in a shaky breath. "I heard-"

"For fuck's sake-" I quickly shove her body away as Vanya slices her bow through the air. Everything finally became silent, the world becoming still and the winds calmed down but there was an uneasy feeling in my stomach.

"(y/n)!" Vanya cries with a gasp as her hands shook and I follow her gaze to look down at the slice on my stomach, my shaky hands holding onto the wound and I cry out in pain when it registers that I was losing blood quickly. I couldn't feel my legs and I fall to the floor, blood quickly spilling out through my shirt and onto the floor. "No! No!" she runs towards me, crying helplessly as she held me. "(y/n)! No! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! No! Oh (y/n) I'm so sorry!" she screams out as she puts pressure down on my wound, trying to stop the blood and I whimper softly as black dots fly across my eyes.

"I know Vanya..." Leonard suddenly barges into the cabin, a sick grin on his face.

"I didn't mean to! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Vanya continues to cry for me and I look at her sadly.

"It's not your fault..."

"You did what you had to do Vanya." Leonard says and I glare at him.

"You... Stay away from Vanya...Jenkins..." I hiss out but my voice garbles from the blood I cough up, pointing at Leonard as he tries to pull Vanya away from me. "Vanya, don't leave with him... Please... Stay here, I can explain to the others it wasn't your fault..." she struggles against Leonard's grip and I hold her arm, pleading for her to stay and she tries to get her boyfriend to let her go. "Please...It wasn't... your... fault..."

"Leonard, let me go!" She screams at him but he pulls her through the open doorway and away from the cabin.

I suddenly hear a sudden whoosh and feel someone picking my body up when my vision was getting dark. "(y/n)! Shit! Don't close your eyes! Please, stay awake for me! I can't lose you! Fuck, why wasn't I here for you!? I shouldn't have gone after Jenkins by myself! You're going to be ok (y/n)! Just stay awake!" He screams out with panic but the last thing I see is a flash of blue before I blackout.
