"Holy shit I can't believe you did that!" I burst out laughing with Vanya, the both of us sitting together at the bar area with a drink in our hands as we took some downtime with the family after Five and I came back from our date. The boys were off mucking around at the bar, messing with the drinks and probably making terrible concoctions while Vanya and I talked about her childhood. Well, the good aspects really.

"Five got so mad! When I hid all his books and textbooks! He went into a whirlwind trying to find them!" Vanya giggles. "He eventually passed out from jumping around too much."

"Oh shit!" I gasp, covering my mouth and turning around to look at my little assassin as he yelled at his brothers to stop messing up the drinks. I turn back around to Vanya again to continue talking but she chuckles softly when she looks over my shoulder.

"What did you do (y/n)?"

"What?" I was confused and she nodded over so I turned around to look at what she was referring to.

"You have Five completely around your finger." She says and I chuckle seeing Five smiling at me so sweetly, ignoring his brothers who were yelling now. He had his head in his hands as he leaned on the counter, this big wide smile on his face as he stared at me. I blush from his stare and nod up to ask 'what's up' but he just shakes his head and continues to admire me. I take notice of the brothers doing something else and I quickly send my little assassin an air kiss while they aren't looking, his ears and entire face turning bright pink as his eyes widen. I chuckle from his reaction but gasp when I hear a whoosh and feel something soft press against my lips. I melted into my boyfriend's lips as I kissed him back before he teleported away again, leaving me confused from the sudden stolen kiss making me blush. He winked at me from back at the bar with his brothers and continued to yell at them before I turned to Vanya who giggled.

"Looks like he has you wrapped around his finger too."

"Oh shut up." I roll my eyes with a smile, sipping my drink. "By the way, when is Marcus dropping off the briefcase?" I whisper to Vanya and she looks around first before whispering to me. "Should be tomorrow night."

"I thought tonight he was gonna-"

"-he was still trying to find it."

"Oh... alright then."

The brothers finally come back and we all settle into the couches, Five snuggling into my side. Klaus was busy munching on some snacks or whatever he was eating, Luther and Diego going at each other arguing while Vanya went off to look at some of the books on the shelves. I sipped my drink and hummed with bliss as my boyfriend presses a kiss on my neck, holding his glass of whiskey while his other hand caressed my thigh beneath the slit of my dress.

I let him pull my feet over on his lap, shifting closer to him as he peppers kisses over my shoulder. "I saw you and Vanya went out yesterday," he whispers against my skin and I try to not go rigid, trying to keep calm. "what did you two do?"

Holy fuck, does he know!?

How does he know!?

He doesn't-does he!?

Oh my fucking god.

SAY SOMETHING!

"Oh, nothing much. Girl talk and all. Pretty much went for a walk together." I continue sipping my drink as Five peppers kisses over my jaw and my heart flutters from his touch.

"Where did you go?"

"To a cafe..." I stutter.

"Did you meet anyone?"

"No..." I breathe out, my body burning hot from his kisses as his hand squeezed my inner thigh. I sigh out his name blissfully, that familiar ache growing in my core as I squeeze my thighs around his hand that delved up higher before he lets me go and I almost whine in disappointment but bite back any sound.

Five holds my chin and pulls my head to look at him. He doesn't say anything, his eyes darting over me before landing on my lips as his thumb brushed over them. "Alright princess." He smiles at me, leaning down to kiss me softly. My lips meld with his sweetly, my free hand holding his shirt before I slowly pull back to breathe and calm the fuzziness in my brain. My little assassin pecks my nose once more before going back to drinking his whiskey and talking to his brothers, me glancing over at Vanya briefly before looking away and sighing in relief. I lean further into my boyfriend's chest to lay on him, downing the rest of my drink to calm my nerves.

"Five, I'm going out for a bit!" I call out as I put my sneakers on, pulling my hood up before I open the door. I look over my shoulder to see him scramble out of the bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth, narrowing his eyes at me as if to say why. "I'm going for a walk." I chuckle softly, waving goodbye to him before he could probably stop me and smother me with kisses.

I put my headphones on and head down to the foyer and out of the building, enjoying the heat of the sun and the cool breeze blowing over New York. I feel my phone buzz and I take it out to see that I got a new message from my little assassin. I had been teaching him how to use a phone but he only likes to text.

Coffee Addict 💚:

Come home safe (y/n).

I will!

Enjoy your walk sweetheart.

I smile at the text messages. Five is a simple man with the texts but it's nice to know he still reached out to make sure I was ok. I pocket my phone again and look up, curious about the lost pet signs on the pole in front of me.

"Lost puppy... Pennycrumb!" I gasped, seeing the name of the pug that the front desk guy owns.

Can't believe I forgot what his name was already.

BUT HOLY SHIT THEY ACTUALLY INCORPORATED FIVES PUG HERE!

"Where did he go?" I pout that the puppy was missing, shoving my hands into my pockets and going for that walk, just mindlessly taking a random path in front of me. I made sure to pin the hotel on my phone so I could get back, just looking for a park to walk around.

With a bit of a skip in my step, I walk through the park as music plays through my headphones. It was a nice afternoon and it felt refreshing to just do something simple instead did worrying about work or my studies.

That nice bright walk suddenly made my stomach churn as I walked down the path, a cold shiver making the hair on my arms stand straight and I knew something was wrong. Something definitely didn't feel right.

Something is very wrong.

I looked around warily without making it obvious, gradually increasing my pace and broadening my shoulders to look bigger in my hoodie.

My feet suddenly started taking me down the path without my brain comprehending the movements, the shadows somewhat becoming blurry and fuzzy as if they were beckoning me. I tried to blink away the darkness of my vision that suddenly dropped, looking at the shadows and fearing the claws that were somehow forming from the shadows of the light posts. They were reaching out for me, pulling me along and making me turn which way and that down the long winding path. They were manoeuvring me and making me walk faster to run away from whatever was behind me, pulling me like a puppet on strings to avoid being taken. I suddenly got grabbed-no pulled-and my feet turned me to take a sharp right and I managed to find a large tree in the middle of the park surrounded by tall shrubbery, hunching down and breathing hard into my hands. I tried to be quiet, ripping my headphones out of my ears to listen to whatever it was that was making my body panic. I turned my phone on silent and shoved it into my sneaker to hide it, trying to calm my racing heart when I heard someone walking over the ground.

Leaves and twigs snapped beneath their feet until their voice rang out. "I know you're here (y/n)." I didn't move, didn't make a noise, hoping whoever it was would leave. The footsteps got louder, closer, and I panicked.

Do I stay!?

Do I move!?

Do I try to make a run for it!?

I looked around, hoping for something to help me until I heard the voice next to me. "You were always so good at hiding." I jumped and saw that it was Ben, crouching down next to me and I scrambled up on my feet to get away from him but he grabbed my hand and pulled me back.

"What do you want!?" I yelled out, the words blurting out before I could stop them as I slapped his hand away. His eye twitched as he looked at me, grabbing my face painfully tight and pulling me close. I hiss in pain, grabbing his wrist but he squeezes me tighter.

"Once a brat, always a brat." He tsks, the frown on his face turning softer before he lets me go slowly and I shake his hand off. "But you knew I liked that." He smirks at me and I grimace.

The fuck he mean by that!?

"Why are you following me? What do you want?"

"For you to come back to the Sparrows. We missed you." I hide back my confusion, just sneering at Ben and he rolls his eyes at my lack of response.

"I'm not going back." I quickly say, trying to figure out if I should try to run and call for Five.

"Oh, I know you will. You may say you would leave for good but here you are, back again. Back with us."

"What do you want Ben." I hiss softly in annoyance, growing worried when he summons his tentacles.

This is where I die.

Just grab a damn branch and skewer him!

I was getting ready for a fight I knew I had no way of winning but I yelped when I suddenly got grabbed by the tentacles and pulled closer towards Ben, wincing from the pain as they squeezed me, my breath shortening. "Let me go!" I wheeze out but Ben just smirks, flinching away harshly when the tip of one of his tentacles taps my cheek and I turn my head away.

"Come on, I know you like this." I physically felt sick, looking at Ben in disgust when his tentacles moved beneath my clothes.

"Stop it! STOP IT!" I yelled at him, screaming out for someone to help but that made him mad and he dropped me to the floor. I wheezed for air but it was cut short when one of his tentacles wrapped around my throat, the others binding my hands behind my back.

Shit!

"Jayme." Ben nods to his sister who creeps out from behind the trees and I struggle to get free. "Do it..." he sighs out, a deep frown on his face as he looks at me and I sneer at his change of behaviour. He looks away with pursed lips and I flinch when his sister spits at me, gagging in disgust at whatever liquid lands on my cheek.

"Fuck you, you're disgusting!" I yell at Jayme and she rolls her eyes. I blink with fear when my vision suddenly starts to fade away, slowly turning black and I panicked when I lose my sight. "Ben, what did you do!?" I exclaim with a gasp, my fear of the dark haunting me when I couldn't see anything. "Please!" I begged him and I panicked when I suddenly lost feeling in my limbs. I couldn't feel anything in my arms or legs, couldn't do anything. I couldn't move. "Please..." I tried not to cry, feeling fingers stroke my cheek so o knew I could at least feel from the neck up.

"Let's take her back and question her." I hear Ben say softly next to me, feeling his arm on my back.

Was he carrying me?

Where are we going?

I feel Ben brush my hair back, him leaning my head on his shoulder and I close my eyes to try and pretend that I didn't lose my sight.

So much for a peaceful walk...

"Shit!" I gasped as I shot up, breathing hard and blinking away the haze as I looked around the unfamiliar scenery.

There's no fucking way I actually fell asleep.

"Sleeping beauty's awake." I flinch and turn to see the Sparrow Academy kids surrounding me, me sneering at Ben who sat at the end of the couch I was lying on by my feet. He relaxed back and stared at me with an unfamiliar look in his eyes and I shuffle back away to try and get some distance between everyone. I wriggled my feet and I felt relief that I still had my phone in my sneakers, able to finally feel my limbs too.

"What do you want." I hissed softly at the kids, noticing that someone was missing. Their leader.

Where's Marcus? He promised us that he wouldn't send his team after us!

That fucking liar!

"To just talk." Ben says and I narrow my eyes at him.

"You know, I mourned for you when you passed away but now that you're back alive, you're just a fucking asshole!" I snap at him and he throws his hands in the air.

"Why does everyone keep saying that!?"

"Whatever." I roll my eyes, not bothering to answer him. "Where's Marcus? I have a bone to pick with him." I cross my arms.

"That's what we'd like to know." Fei scoffs at me.

"The fuck you mean by that?" I furrow my brows.

"We know you have him! Whatever game the Umbrellas are playing, you're gonna lose." Alfonso says.

"We didn't take him. That's such a dumb idea." I roll my eyes.

"Then why were you the last to see him with that little Umbrella girl of yours?" Ben asks, his voice unusually soft compared to the others.

The fuck does he want!? What's with the constant change up!?

Also, how did they know?

I look over at Fei as she strokes her crow and I realise how. "Look, we don't have him. I don't care if you believe me or not but the Umbrellas just want to live a free life now. Got it. They're done fighting. So now if you excuse me," I get up, trying to play confident but Ben pulls me back down on the couch with a tight grip on my arm, moving to wrap it around my shoulder and pull me close to his side.

"Stay. Let's catch up. The family has missed you." He smirks and I just shudder in fear.

"Where's the bathroom." I blurt out, Sloane getting up.

"I'll show her." She says softly, taking hold of my hand gently and I was shocked at how nice she was being with me. She doesn't say anything else and pulls me away from her family, looking around warily before taking me up some familiar staircase that led to the old part of the house where the Umbrella's rooms were. "Quick, get out of here." She whispers to me with wide eyes, holding my shoulders and looking around with fear. I scramble to get my phone out from my shoe, sending a barrage of messages to Five of where I am.

Please, please see the texts!

I hear that familiar whoosh and a flash of blue and relief instantly fills me, holding back my tears as I run towards him. "(Y/n)!" He gasps softly, holding me tight in a hug as he holds the back of my head.

"Go go go!" I exclaim to him quickly and he nods to Sloane before I close my eyes and we teleport away. I peek my eyes open over his shoulders to see that we were back at our room in the hotel and I drop my head against his shoulder in relief.

"(Y/n), what happened? Why were you with the Sparrows!?" My little assassin asks as he holds my cheeks to have me look at him, his eyes filled with worry. "Are you ok? They didn't hurt you? I shake my head, holding his hands and letting out a shaky breath. "Hey, it's ok, you're ok." He coos softly, brushing his thumbs under my eyes like he knew I was trying not to cry.

"Ben jumped me on my walk and took me back to the Sparrows. They wanted to know where Marcus is." I breathe out.

"Know where their Number One is? Why would we know?" My boyfriend asks, brows furrowed but I could see him getting angry when he heard that I got jumped.

"They thought we have him. He's missing apparently."

"That's not our problem." Five hisses softly. "And certainly not yours since you had nothing to do with their missing leader. They should never have touched you." He was furious and I held his pj shirt to keep him from teleporting away.

"Five don't."

"They took you, god knows what else they could've done to you!" I shudder at that and my boyfriend narrows his eyes at me. "They did do something." He seethes. "What did they do to you sweetheart." he wasn't asking, he was demanding now.

"Five just..." I shake my head and he breathes out, trying to stay calm. "I don't want to think about it anymore. Please." He nods and kisses my forehead before pulling me in a tight hug.

"How about we go up to the rooftop pool... warm you up a bit."

"Is it empty?" I mumble out, leaning my chin on top of Five's chest and he smiles down at me softly.

"It is. So you can swim around as much as you want." He chuckles when I beam at him in contentment. "We can order in and watch whatever you want at the lounge theatre." He leans down and pecks my nose, my heart fluttering from his affection as he strokes my cheek and I lean into his touch happily.

"We have a theatre in here!?" I gasp and he nods, amused by my excitement. "Let's do it!" I jump out of my boyfriend's arms in a hurry but he quickly grabs my hand and pulls me back against his chest, a flush of heat spreading through me as he entwined our fingers together.

"Don't stray too far. I don't want you away from my side again princess."
