Todays lesson.....

I'm really bad at explaining it in words and all my friends could tell too, so i got pictures!!

1. Open Photoshop

On the top column click File then New or Command/Shift N

Then this will appear.

Add the width as 512 and height 800 then press Ok

which is for a cover.

This will appear

2. Getting good quality pictures and resources.

Where I get my pngs, textures etc are either from

Deviantart.com

weheartit.com

pinterest.com

or you can even find some on wattpad like @grahicshit they have good resources.

3. Type in a models name you prefer and beside the name type PNG

4. Select a PNG you prefer and download it.

5. Go back to your PS page and click File again, then click Open. Search for the PNG at the folder you saved it in.

6. When it appears drag the png to the other page

7. Earse any extra things on the png by selecting the Erase tool or simply free E

8. At the bottom right corner of your page click the circle and select Solid Color

9. Select the color you prefer

10. Then drag the sheet below the png

11. Chose the Text tool or just T and write the title of the book. Press the check mark at the top after you're done.

12. Then, double click the title sheet.

and this will appear.

13. Press the Gradient Overlay check box and it will turn blue

Then adjust the opacity and angle

14. Click on a new sheet at the bottom right of the page.

Then select the brush tool and choose white color.

Draw lines like these.

Then adjust the opacity at the middle at the right of the page.

And there you have it! One bomb cover with amazing quality!
