I put the finishing touches on one of my new photographs as I waited for class to end. A couples of minutes later, my professor dismissed the class and people rushed out of their seats, heading for the exit.

My hand reached to close my laptop just as my friend approached me. "How's the senior project coming along?" Marlene asked me.

I looked up to meet her gaze and let out a sigh. "Its more-or-less coming along. How about yours?"

She shrugged in response. "Not nearly as badass as yours, Angeline."

A proud smile tugged at the corners of my mouth. My project needed to be the best, and for that, only a limited amount of people could know what it was about. The rest would find out what I had been doing during my senior seminar presentation.

Getting back on my feet, I quickly gathered my things and followed her out of the classroom. That was our routine. Our class ended just before lunch hour and we got lunch together and talked for an hour before heading off to our multimedia designs class with Professor Tucker.

Today I would need to post my weekly photograph on my personal blog, as I always did on Mondays.

We were sat in the university cafe when Marlene spoke up. "But like, you're so good, that even you're parents believe you're dating this guy." My parents and so did the rest of the town. Nothing happened in my town without everyone hearing about it. Everyone murmured about the pictures on social media of me hand in hand with a footballer. The only other thing more curious that people talked about were why he wasn't posting any of the pictures on his social media sites. My cover was that we were trying to keep our relationship a secret, and the photos had been leaked by anonymous sources.

"Sh." I told her, leaing in to whisper, "No one can know about this."

"Its not like you couldn't get a boyfriend." Marlene snorted in amusement. "You're so pretty and talented. I bet that guy would fall for you in a second if he met you."

I crinkled up my nose. "I'm not interested in dating yet. I have too many things planned."

After the incident in which Thomas found pictures of me with a girl I have never met, I decided to search for the girl in the pictures. Maybe she had answers for me. But for all I knew she had no idea this was going on.

I hired a private investigator. I couldn't just let this go.

Two weeks later, he had information for me.

Angeline Vivanco Tordecillas was a media arts major at the University of Munich, but was originally from Toledo, Spain.

According to the information gathered, she had been able to study in Deutschland thanks to a scholar ship, and was one semester away from getting her degree in media arts. But there was nothing that the investigator could gather which tied her to the creation of the supposed pictures.

Now that I knew where to find her, the next thing to do was to pay her a visit.

I arrived at the university cafe where she had lunch with her friend everyday, but was unlucky enough that she rushed off before I could get out of the car. Still, I thought I could get something out of her friend.

I approached her a bit hesitantly, but she looked up at the sound of my voice. "Hey, I wanted to ask something about your friend." I told her. At my words, she went as white as paper, all color leaving her face. It seemed that she had recognized me. It meant she had surely seen the pictures too.

Gulping, she said, "Oh, you mean, Angeline?"

I nodded, "Ja. The pretty blonde girl that just left."

"I don't know much about her." She said, trying her very best to sound convincing. I quickly caught on that she was lying. That's the thing about some people, they can't act to save their lives. Actors are just good liars, and this girl was very bad at it.

"Someone's been photoshopping pictures of me and that girl together." I began to explain to her as though she didn't already know why I was there. "I just want to know if your friend knows anything about that." Truthfully, there was a possibility they had nothing to do with it, but her friend's reaction told me otherwise.

The girl gave a shrug of her shoulders, but I could see it in her eyes. She was nervous. That meant her friend knew something about the pictures, or she knew something about them. But it was more probable that she was covering for her friend. "I don't know anything, and I wouldn't be able to tell you if Angeline knows anything."

"Thanks anyway." I smiled at her and turned to return to my car.

I knew I would need to return to see Angeline Vivanco and ask her for myself.

I was getting out of my last class of the day when my phone rang in my pocket. It rang a few times before I got it out and hit the answer button. The moment I did, I heard Marlene's panicked voice booming into my ear. "Angie, that guy you're using for your project approached me after you left the cafe. He was looking for you."

My heart dropped in that moment, as well as the smile on my face. My heart pounded against my chest while I asked her, "What did you tell him?"

"He wanted to know if you know anything about those pictures." Marlene explained what had happened after her friend headed off to class. "I told him I didn't know anything, but I was nervous. I'm sure he's onto you. Angie, you could get in trouble for this."

"Its for my senior art project!" I half-yelled into the phone. "He'll understand."

Sighing, Marlene said, "I don't know, Angie. By the looks of it, he'll be back soon. So maybe you shouldn't hang around the cafe for a few days."

"Yeah." I agreed.

For the next few days, I would be playing a game of hide-and-seek with a world famous footballer. But getting found was not something I was looking forward to.
