"I Live In Sadness"

I live in sadness

Do you live here?

I live in the city of fake smiles and fake happiness

None of my friends live here but in the city of happy

The street I live on is Stressed I live in sadness

Do you live here?

In this universe, it seems like kindness is rare

Watching some receive it with ease

No way for me to receive it easily as others

For me to be constantly compared to my brother 

I live in sadness

I Remember Poem:

"I Remember My Aunt's Eyes"

Because they were a nice chocolate color, welcoming and warm, caring, and it was like she was welcomed you home 

Because her eyes always lit up when she was with her family,even when she was just out with friends she welcomed them like family 

Because she always was happy when with the ones that she loved,how they always showed kindness even in the darkest times

Because after my other aunt lost her mother she stayed with her the whole way,she put her shaking hands around her waist and reminded her that she's in a better place

Because she was our light even in the darkest times, she found a way to comfort us while looking us straight in the eye

Because she would look you in the eye when you're sad and ask you what's wrong,she would say it with a gentle tone but with caring eyes

Because she remembered to look at the light and not the darkness,her eyes are where you could always find the light you need to smile

Because she would always say family's first even if not biologically related, she would always put others before herself even if she was in pain

Because when I remember her I see the light in her eyes, I know that she will be looking over me, and I'll remember the light she brought to my world.

"Loneliness is like"

Loneliness is like having no shoulder to cry on when things get hard,

Everyone is slowly leaving you on your own,

When you feel like you can break down without having someone there for you,

Blending into the shadows and you can't be seen no matter how hard they try,

Having darkness inside your head,

Having no one to talk to,Being alone while people are in a crowd.

"I am"

I am sad and fake 

I wonder what is the meaning of life 

I hear my mom yelling

I see the ocean during a sunset

I want to be happy

I am sad and fake 

I pretend to be happy 

I feel sad constantly 

I touch something rough

 I cry when my brother is in trouble 

I am sad and fake

 I understand that life isn't fair

I say hello children cause I wish life was that simple 

I dream that the world is a nice place

I try to make others happy when I'm not

I hope one day I'll be happy again I am sad and fake

"That girl"

Do you see her, 

That girl they think she's strange,

Only to get compared to her brother,

They say that she needs to change.

Her black hair covering her tears. 

Trembling because of the sight,

All her fears in front of her for years.

Crying till midnight. 

Pretending to be ok,

Faking a smile.

Her life is like a sad play,

People know to stay away once and awhile.

They say 'she's fine',

 She feels like she can't shine. 

Random:

Trying to keep my head held high

but it's hard because all I'm saying is I'm fine

they're pushing me down

and I'm trying to not drown

all these insults coming at me like bullets

trying to make them see that I'm not really ok

All I want you to say when I say I'm fine is to respond with

"I know you're not."

All I want is for someone to notice someone to help
