During the evening, all of the hotel members were doing their usual things while Lute and Velvette sat together on the couch, minding their own business.

"...Hey Velv?"

Velvette looked up from her phone to look at Lute, letting out a hum.

"Would you want to go somewhere tonight?" The exorcist asked, looking a little nervous. 𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘥𝘥...

Velvette put her phone away and smiled in a friendly way. She hasn't been out of the hotel in a few days, so a little 'date' with Lute would be perfect with her.

"Yeah, that's fine! Do you want me to get dressed?"

Lute shook her head, letting her wings flutter gently. "We could go now, if you like.." She suggested.

Velvette shrugged and nodded. She stood up and helped Lute up as well. "So, where are we going tonight?" She asked, a spark of excitement in her eyes.

Lute looked at the fashion overlord and smiled softly. "I thought that coffee place might be nice for us?" She said. Velvette nodded and dragged Lute out of the front door.

Once they got a table outside of the shop, Velvette was just 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 to Lute about everything that has been happening lately, not noticing how much she talks to the ex-angel.

Lute just sat there and took it, gazing at Velvette lovingly. She knew this was supposed to be a friendly date, but being with Velvette... she sometimes can't help but just lovingly stare at her while also listening to her distracting voice, and-

"Uhh...Lute? Are you there?"

Lute snapped out of it and quickly shook her head before laughing nervously. "Sorry...must have been dozing out." She lied.

Velvette shrugged and continued to talk to Lute about everything that came up in her mind.

Once the 'friendly' date was over, they  started to walk back to the hotel, both hands clinging together.

"Well, wasn't that fun?" Lute asked.

"Hell yeah, it was fun! I love talking to you. You make a great listener." Velvette says, smiling at Lute. Which always gets Lute's heart pounding.

When they got to the front door of the hotel, they stood outside for a moment, staying silent.

"...Um...do you want to do this again, sometime?" Velvette asked suddenly, looking a bit shy (that's so out of character for her, but whatever, LMFAO).

Lute looked at Velvette in surprise before smiling softly. "I wouldn't mind it at all." She says, snaking her arms around Velvette's waist. "They make my life down here more entertaining." She teased.

Velvette laughed softly and put her hands on Lute's shoulders.

𝘎𝘰𝘥, 𝘴𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦..

Lute was hesitant for a moment before leaning closer. That got Velvette surprised, but she leaned in closer as well.

Just as they were about to kiss...

"Aww, giving her a little goodnight kiss before you turn in for the night?"

Velvette scowled and looked back to see Vox. "Fucking Hell Vox! I can't do anything nice?!" She sneered.

Vox rolled his eyes and snickered. "You're a disgrace to Hell." He says, smiling cruelly.

Velvette rolled her eyes and snarled. "Piss off, you Samsung TV..."

Vox shrugged and backed off, teleporting back to the VEE's tower.

Lute sighed and crossed her arms. "Well, that was something..."

Velvette shook her head and went inside. Lute stood out there for a moment, a little disappointed that Vox had to ruin that special first kiss too soon.

At least, until Velvette ran back outside and gave Lute a kiss on the cheek instead, making the exorcist angels' wings flare up in surprise with surprise and having a soft blush on her face.

Velvette laughed softly and backed away. "See you at breakfast." She says, heading inside, while Lute looks back at the door and smiling brightly.
