      At the El Talento School of the Arts in Los Angeles, California, Belleza "Bella" Del Fuego is a White/Latina newbie. Her striking appearance includes (but is not limited to): fire engine-red hair, skin that is warm - very warm - to the touch, and blazing hazel eyes. Every day she's complimented for having high cheekbones, a supermodel-like figure (height included), and having bigger boobs and a bigger butt than most girls; however, they don't know she's a Phoenix Witch, a witch with not just the powers of the average witch, but power over the elements (fire being the strongest), and the power to heal. On top of everything else, Bella is immortal.

      Bella's adventure begins when, one day, right in the middle of Biology, she becomes angry with the school's most popular girl, Tamryn "Tami" Moore. The ends of Bella's fiery hair begin to smoke and eventually burst into flames, revealing the phoenix inside of her. While some students find her fire-proof hair to be cool, her teacher and the other students, including Tami and her snobby friends, freak out. There's just a small problem: Bella has no clue what's going on either! Her parents, who have been keeping her magic a secret from her, are called to the school by Mrs. Feurig, the school's principal. What Bella didn't know: Frau Feurig is a Phoenix Witch that is protecting her from an evil creature from Fieris, a magical realm that Bella, her parents, and Mrs. Feurig are from! Bella's parents ask Mrs. Feurig to help Bella, who is shocked and confused, control her powers.

      Bella soon masters her powers with blazing speed. Her next challenge? Stopping the Fieris-born evil from attacking Earth while dealing with scrutiny from the students at her school, the United States' government, and most importantly (at least in her world), her crush. Does Bella have what it takes to juggle all of the problems she'll have to face?
