Aphmau's pov

I didn't know how to answer.

"Say yes!" People from the crowd yelled as my face grew hot.

I looked down and nodded. "Yes!" I yelled and Aaron smiled as he lifted me off the ground and spun me around.

The crowd were all cheering and clapping as I hugged Aaron. After that we went and got ice cream.

"You didn't have to pay Aaron." I said feeling a little guilty about letting Aaron pay for my ice cream.

"It's fine Aphmau. I have plenty of money to spare so I don't mind paying things for you." Aaron said and I smiled as our fingers entwined.

I felt so happy. I finally got my wish. It almost feels too perfect. I shrugged my shoulders and Aaron and I walked hand in hand down the street.

"Aphmau! Is that a boy!?" I heard my moms voice and I groaned.

I immediately let go of Aaron's hand feeling disappointed that the warmth faded.

"U-um...yes?" I said not knowing if it was a statement or a question. My mom frowned and looked at Aaron.

She never knew Aaron. Even though we used to play all the time as kids we would always play when she was at work.

"Is that your boyfriend!?" My mom yelled and a few people gave her a strange look and I bit my bottom lip.

"Mom! Quit yelling! It's embarrassing." I said but my moms eyes never left Aaron for one second.

"Get in the car little one." My mom said and I looked at Aaron.

"Why? I'm a teenager mom. Don't you trust me?" I asked and she parked the car and got out and walked over to me.

"Of course I trust you. I just don't trust him." My mom glared at Aaron but he didn't do anything.

Then, Aaron grabbed my hand and looked at my mom.

"Yeah, Aphmau and I are dating. You got a problem with that?" Aaron asked a hint of irritation in his voice.

My mom looked shocked and looked at me. "Yes I have a problem with it. You are rude." My mom said glaring daggers at Aaron.

"Guys, guys, calm down. Mom, Aaron is my boyfriend and I wish for you to accept him. He makes me so happy." I said and my mom looked at me with sadness in her eyes.

"Aphmau, we will talk about this later. Get into the car." My mom said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me away from Aaron.

I frowned and tried to pull away but Aaron shook his head telling me it was fine. I felt bad about leaving Aaron alone but I really had no choice.

I opened the car door and got into the nice soft seat. I slammed the door behind me clearly showing my irritation. My mom sighed as she shut her door and she turned to me.

"Aphmau, is he the same boy that broke your heart three years ago?"

I looked down at my hands and nodded. "Yeah, but he's back now and I want to date him. I still love Aaron after all these years." I said and I felt tears in the corner of my eyes.

My mom sighed and cupped my face and wiped the tears that were about to fall. "I guess if it's enough to make cry." My mom muttered and I was confused at what she meant.

"What do you mean?" I asked and she smiled sadly.

"What I mean is if just talking about not being with that boy makes you cry it means you really love him.....right?" My mom asked and I nodded.

My mom started the car and we drove in silence and I hadn't even noticed that we were in town.

"Mom, why are we in town?" I asked and my mom smiled.

"I'm going to buy you a knew dress so you can wear it to your first date. Now, if he breaks your heart I will never let you date again." My mom said and a smile formed on my lips.

"Thanks mom." I muttered and she ruffled my hair.

We arrived at the mall and we went inside. "What color do you want Aphmau?"

I thought for a minute and my eyes scanned all the different dresses.

"This one!" I said excited and grabbed a long purple dress with a black sweater and belt.

My mom smiled and I tried it on in the dressing room and it fit perfectly!

We went home after paying for the dress. Who knew I would be so excited to go to school the next day? A smile broke out on my face and I let out a breath of relief.

I am so happy that mom is giving Aaron a chance. I thought.

Next Day

I was stumbling over my own two feet to get ready for school. I was so excited to see Aaron today. Maybe we could go to that new arcade that just opened.

I hurried to school and saw Aaron at the gates. I smiled when I saw him and I ran up to him.

"Aaron!" I yelled excited as I waved at him.

Aaron gave me a small smile and I ran up to him. He had a plastic bag and he held it out to me.

"What's that?" I asked as I took the bag.

"You forgot your Manga at the park yesterday." Aaron said and I looked in the bag to see my Manga. I blushed and looked down.

"Thanks." I muttered and felt Aaron grab my hand. I looked up and Aaron's cheeks were pink. I smiled and stood on my tiptoes and kissed Aaron's cheek.
