~Emi's P.O.V~

Ino just kept coming at me. I blocked attack after attack, waiting for an opening that wouldn't come. She stopped for a moment, and I took my chance. "Phoenix Fire Jutsu!" I exclaimed. The fiery bird flew towards her, and completely consumed her. She gasped in surprise, and stumbled back out of the flames. 

I fell to my hands and knees panting. Every part of me hurt. "Alright you two." Asuma says. "You've been at it for almost four hours. Time to take a break." I looked up at Ino, who was also on the ground, and smirked. "That was fun." I say breathlessly. "Nice job with that last attack." Shikamaru commented looking at me. "Thanks." I reply. I sit back on my heels wincing as I do so. 

I had a large bruise on my shoulder from Ino's attacks, and it stung. I could barely move it. 

~Time skip~

Asuma had left a while ago, leaving us to talk with each other. "Hey, Emi?" Ino asks. "Yeah?" I reply. "Can I ask you something?" she says. "You just did." I point out. "But you can ask another one." "Ha ha, smart ass." Ino says. I just smirk.

"How's your relationship with Sasuke?" Ino looks at me with genuine curiosity. "Umm..." to be honest, I hadn't had ANY time with him, not since we found Clay anyways.

But Ino, Shikamaru and Choji don't need to know that. "Its been great." I finish. "We spend lot of time together...doing random crap." "like...?" Ino persists.

"Stuff that's classified. it's only to be between me and Sasuke." I reply. "oooohhh." Ino teases. i sent her a glare. she smirked. I stood up. "Going home?" Shikamaru asks. "Yeah, im tired and sore..." I say. "Okay." Ino replies. "Come back and have bbq with us." Choji says. "Sure." I reply. 

I walk down the street on my way to The Uchiha compound. I really needed to see Sasuke and Clay.
