"Lucinda! Stop stabbing me with hair pins!"

"Aphmau! Stop moving, your going to ruin my masterpiece, that I took my precious time working on!"

"Ugh, fine. Only because you took your 'precious' time."

I grudgingly sat back down on the wooden high chair, letting Lucinda adjust a few strands and pieces of my hair into place. I already wore my red dress, it complemented my body really well. My favourite part of the dress was the black collar, I just think that black and red goes pretty well together as a nice colour combination, it just gives of that nice look that I was going for. Along with the red dress, I wore black see through tights with some black heels. Luckily Kiki forcefully showed me how to properly walk in heels, which actually came into good use.

Zoey forced me to wear makeup, after a whole half an hour of arguing I finally agreed, but what I didn't know was she was going to harshly dab sticks onto my face and apply all sorts of liquids to it, I mean it! She literally painted my lips with a paintbrush, it was horrifying. But I learned a few things or two.

They all got ready before me knowing that I'll cause a tantrum, which I did, but I gave in not wanting them to get late. I don't know why we're dressing so fancy and formal, it's only a party at school. I stuffed all my necessities in my bra not bothered to bring a clutch, I even got a packet of gummy bears with me...

Hopping off the chair I stared at my reflection in mirror completely confused. This is not me, I'm the type to dress comfortably; leggings, jeans, dark coloured shirts and cardigans are my thing, not; dresses, fancy shoes and skirts. I'll just probably wear them on special occasions like this one, but anywhere else you shouldn't expect me to be all fancy.

My mum dropped us all of saying we shouldn't get our clothes dirty which I declined at first, but you know I never win a fight. I opened the door as everyone else already got out. The festive lights were buzzing and the medium sized Christmas tree was sparkling with all its might. The sun was already setting making the outside scenery even better. I wonder how the inside looks. We walked around the tree entering the school corridors, even the corridor looked all festive and Christmasy.

"Wow Lucinda, y'all did a pretty good job at decorating." Kiki complemented making Lucinda harshly stare at her before snapping out of her hypnotic state.

"I know we did do a pretty good job, we stayed up all night, taking in that we were taking a sip of coffee every five minutes." We all chuckled carrying on walking towards the gym.

We stood in front a festively decorated door with two boys dressed as reindeers looking bored out of their minds.

"Welcome to the end of year Christmas party." The boy on the left said blankly doing the dramatic jazz hands, which weren't so dramatic.

"Have a great day." The boy on the right said unenthusiastically.

Zoey was the first to make a move as she dashed in slamming the door wide open nearly hitting a couple who were kissing next to the door.

"Get a room!" Zoey shouted making the couple break apart, they rolled their eyes and carried on licking each other's faces.

We ignored them and carried one strolling inside, Lucinda and Kiki walked straight towards the dance floor and Zoey mysteriously disappeared leaving me with the buffet of delicious food. Hehe.

I sat on a chair completely full. Ah, my stomach hurts. When the girls left me I charged straight at the food eating like a pig forgetting that other people were around me, I couldn't help myself the food just looked so yummy I couldn't resist, it was like a drug. I hadn't had my lunch so that explains why I was so hungry, but now I can barely stand. Emmalyn insisted I should dance with her and I told her to wait for a few minutes while digested the food.

After I felt a little better I stood up nearly tumbling over from sitting to much. I walked over to where Emmalyn was dancing blending in with the crowd who were randomly singing Christmas carols off key. The song suddenly changed into a slow dance song and Emmalyn paired up with a guy who I think his name is Kenmur.

I stood there clueless on the dance floor when suddenly someone grabbed my hand swiftly pulling me into their arms, I looked up to be met with the same blue orbs the haunted my eyes for the past few days, it was Laurance. But the question is why did he chose to dance with me? There's plenty other pretty girls dressed in slutty Santa costumes waiting to be tamed, so why is he here with me?

"Laurance?" I looked into his mesmerising eyes.

"Why suddenly dance with me? I mean there's plenty of other girls out there who are desperate to have a dance, in fact I barely even know you!" I pointed out.

He just stares at me, he opens his mouth but no words came out, he didn't glare at me like he usually does, he just stares at me with some other emotion that I couldn't identify, so I just let him slip off this time.

We were silent while other people were talking or cheering happily, but it wasn't so awkward as I expected it to be he just stared at me and I stared at him. I found it quite strange how he randomly decided to dance with me, I don't even know him at all, but from what I could tell is that he doesn't talk that much, maybe to his friends, but not to other people like me.

The slow dance song ended and 'jingle bells' started to play. We broke off from dancing and I went straight towards Lucinda who was talking to Zoey and Kiki, Emmalyn was to busy hitting it of with the Kenmur guy, but I kind of shipped it.

"Hey Aphmau, we were about to get something to eat, wanna join-" I cut Kiki off.

"No! I meant I literally ate every single thing that they served in the buffet, I'm stuffed." I touched my stomach like Santa clause when he laughs, which is really creepy.

"That's my girl!" Zoey high fives me while Lucinda and Kiki rolled their eyes.

"I'm just gonna take a breather, then go home. It's quite late don't ya think. I guess we had so much fun we lost track of the time." I chuckled.

"Anyway, you could come back to mine, my mum has overnight work so maybe we could watch some movies and get out of these clothes, I'm sure my clothes will fit y'all ." I added.

"Yeah sure, we'll meet you in a bit, we were about to leave after we ate something, so we see you in a bit.." We waved it off.

I walked out of the gym and down the corridors with a smile plastered on my face. I walked outside letting the rush of winter breeze fly past me causing me to shiver. I wrapped my arms around myself carrying on walking down the side walk. I had this bad feeling in my stomach, probably because of all the food I ate. I heard a faint noise in the distance almost like howling, but I chose to ignore it. I felt the same pitted feeling in my stomach only that it was more troublesome. Considering I had to walk past some trees that are joint to the forest and the side walk kind of did not help the fact that I'm kind of scared right now. I should've waited till they finished eating. Debating wether I should turn back or not I heard something rustle in the thick trees along with a deep growl.

I cowered in fear as the growling became louder until it was to its full extent. I could hear it move forward until it stopped moving. I hesitantly looked up and my eyes widen as a gasp escaped my lips. A wolf. It wasn't a normal wolf, No, it was too big and tall to even be a wolf. It was a monster.

My head felt faint but that didn't stop me from running, I ran as fast as these heels could take me, but the wolf was faster. He tackled me on the ground making me bang the back of my head excruciatingly hard on the solid pavement, I could feel the blood run down my neck and at that time when I thought I was going to fall unconscious, it duck its head down and bit into my leg, but immediately let go. My scream erupted the silence as immense pain flooded towards my leg, my eyes closed not wanting to bear the pain.

Before I could close my eyes I heard someone scream my name running towards me, my eyes were to blurred to notice who it was.
