Aphmau POV

My heart was beating so slowly. I tried levelling out my breathing but I couldn't cooperate, I could only focus on the excruciating pain on my neck as well as how my body is completely drained of movement. I couldn't feel the blood pulsing through my veins, my heart beat was slowing down every minute that I was soon to know that I wouldn't be able to make it. I somehow knew that I wouldn't be alive in this world for long, I knew that all the bad things I've done will cost a price that I need to pay, and right now is the perfect time to pay that price.

"Shad that's enough!" Laurance snarled making me use my low storage of strength to turn my head towards him,

"Oh Laurance? Didn't see you there, how've you been? Since the whole 'Me killing your mother' incident occurred we haven't been on good terms." Shad smirked.

"Oh Shad? Didn't see you there as well, how've you been? Since the whole 'Getting frozen in time by your ex' incident occurred, your huge ego couldn't take it seeing as your ex got revenge first instead of you? How've you been?" Laurance retorted making me somewhat smile, little did I know that was going to be my last smile.

"I've been great actually. You know, spending my time being frozen in some stuffy coffin. Totally great considering it gave me a lot of time to think...and plan." Laurance creased his eyebrows in confusion.

"What do you mean?" He question as Shad chuckled harshly.

Shad callously smiled. "So desperate to know I see... well don't blame me for what I'm about to do now." I was suddenly lifted me up and grabbed by the throat making me cough tremendously.

Laurance tried running towards me but Shad brought his hand out somehow freezing Laurance and the others from moving.

I was being dragged across the ground making me wince at the touch of the ground against my body.

I was suddenly held of at the edge of the cliff making my eyes widen, he was going to kill me.

"Shad What Are You Doing? Don't Do It!" Laurance shouted but Shad carried on nudging me towards the deathly rocks beneath me.

"Oh look...It's Opposite Day." Was the last words I head until,

He threw me of the cliff.

My body dropped down, everything felt like slow motion. The shouts and screams were faint since in reality I was falling down fast. The wind blew past my body as if it was trying to push me back up. But right now I knew nothing would be able to help me.

"Hi, I'm new here. My names Aphmau." I smiled shyly all my confidence down the drain.

"Aphmau Rosabell?" She looked up from her folder staring at me with her blue eyes.

"Yes miss."

"Oh don't be silly, you can call me Hyria." Mi- Hyria giggled shaking her head slightly.

"Here you go, here's your schedule and other necessary things. Hopefully I'll be seeing you around, you seem like a nice young lady." Hyria handed over my stuff.

"Thank you Hyria." I was about to leave before she quickly grabbed my wrist lightly.

"There're a few minutes before the bell rings so don't bother going to your homeroom. Make your way to your first lesson, I'll explain to your teacher why you weren't there for registration, oh! and be careful." Hyria let go of my wrist flashing her adorable smile.

"Thank you." I returned the smile, finally walking out of the office.

I stuffed everything in my bag, not bothered to carry them through out the whole day. I was closing my bag not focusing where I was walking, when I suddenly bumped into someone causing them to drop their books onto floor erupting a huge mess.

"Oh my Irene! I'm so sorry, I wasn't aware on what I was doing and I caused you to drop your books on the floor, I'm sorry-" I rambled on about how I was sorry until she cut me off.

"Don't worry, it's okay. Although you can help me pick up these books-"

"Oh! Of course." I crouched down picking up all the loose pieces of paper while she picked up the heavy books.

"Again, I'm so, very sorry. I'm Aphmau." I reached my hand out to shake hers, but her hands were occupied by all the books she was carrying, I awkwardly kept my hand by my side.

"Emmalyn." She carried the heavy books with her left hand while her right hand shook my left hand almost immediately

"Uh...So, which do you prefer, Nutella or Oreos?" Zoey dug into her spaghetti twisting it with her fork.

Now that caught my attention. "Nutella any day!" I snapped my finger sassily.

"Nuh uh!" Kiki snapped her fingers as well in a zig zag. "Oreos are literally heaven inside your mouth." She fans herself over-dramatically.

"Sorry Kiki, but I have to agree with Aph, Nutella is way better then Oreos!" Lucinda said as I Laughed.

I stood in front of the same door that held the light to my darkness. I hugged my knees helplessly on the ground as my body aches from all the pain the rushed towards my leg, I sobbed endlessly until the I heard something thrash against the door. I tried to stand up but I end up falling back down holding my leg.

The door busts open, I close my eyes from all the light that blinded my vision. I felt someone lifting me up from my feet and into their arms. They wiped away the tears that spilled from my eyes.

"Shh, you'll be alright." The male voice cooed.

I slowly open my eyes to face the same blue orbs that saved me a few days ago. He smiled down at me his hair covering parts of his forehead. I couldn't help but let the tears fall from my eyes, my saviour, he protected me from all the trauma I faced.

Laurance...

"What are you doing here Gene?" Dante growled looking like he was going to pounce at him any second.

Zoey, Kiki, Emmalyn and Lucinda all had a looked of distaste on their face.

"I'm here for her!" The man growled looking at me with hungry eyes.

Dammit! It's always me.

"Give my mum!" I tried to wiggle out of Laurance's grip but he wouldn't move a single bit.

"Hand over yourself, then I'll give you her. I'm sure your vampire boyfriend wouldn't mind, after all you're just a bi-" Before he could even finish his sentence Zane and Garroth already tackled him down while Travis, Dante and Katelyn handled the other wolf. Taking us by surprise Ivy grabs my mum reaching out her knife against her throat.

"Don't make any sudden movement, otherwise the women dies." Ivy gripped the knife harder against her throat, silent tears fell down from my cheek as I struggle against Laurance's chest.

Everything happened so fast, one minute everyone was fighting then the next minute Kawaii Chan and Cadenza threw some type of flower at the wolves making them hiss in pain, I heard someone scream as Ivy slices my Mum's threat leaving her head rolling against the ground.

"NO!"

"Tell Me What's Wrong?" Laurance commanded.

"N-Nothing's wrong." I troubled with my words.

"Don't Play Dumb With Me, These Past Few Days You've Been Ignoring Us." He looked like he was keeping himself from shouting.

"I haven't been ignoring you!" I tried to defend myself.

"Cut With The Crap, Why Are You Ignoring Everyone?" He shouted.

Okay, yeah, I admit, I was ignoring them. Only because I was afraid of them. I know they're my friends but I didn't know them completely to know if they're going to hurt me or not.

I stayed quiet not knowing what to say next. Laurance eyes flashed a dark red colour making me scared to death, is he trying to control his hunger?

The next thing I know that I was running towards the front door trying to unlock it, the same tears from yesterday rushed back to my eyes waiting to be shed. I was about to unlock the last lock but Laurance leaned against the door, not budging a single bit. Stupid strength!

I rushed towards the window which was a few centimetres from the door, I started twisting the handle having a hug panic attack inside my head.

Laurance grabbed my hand pulling me towards his chest, I pushed him away not wanting to be near him. He let go of my hand leaving me stand there sobbing while he just stares at me.

Everything happened so quickly I couldn't catch what was going on. Laurance pushed me to the wall straddling me between his arms. He planted his soft lips against mine leaving me in shock on what was happening. I slowly started moving my lips against his wrapping my arms around his neck, tangling my fingers in his fluffy hair.

Using his speed, he ran towards the table settling me down on it while we continue kissing. I don't know what made me kiss him, it was like I was compelled to this spell that I had no control over. I just wanted the feeling of his lips against mine and our bodies melted together, it was like I needed this, I wanted this.

We stopped kissing since we needed to regain our breathes. I just looked in his deep blue eyes as he looks into my hazel ones. We were leaning against each other panting helplessly.

"What's wrong?" Laurance said with his tired husky voice.

"I-I know w-what you are." I tried to keep my voice as strong as I could.

"What?"

"Yesterday, I overheard your conversation with the others..." I looked away from his eyes.

Laurance stood straight back up.

"Irene dammit!" He mentally cursed under his breath.

He stormed outside breaking the door lock down. I stood straight back up trying to concentrate on what just happened.

I was kissing a vampire...

"Welcome Everyone." The crowd cheered and clapped.

"Today we honour you the privilege to see the actual death of Laurance Zvhal!" The crowd cheered even louder.

"Christopher, bring Laurance up here, where everyone can see him." Laurance walked out still walking normally.

Christopher pushed Laurance against the cross, everyone booed at him, but even though Laurance was weak he still urged himself to roll his eyes.

"Does anyone object to this obligation?" No one objected.

"Then we shall-" Before I could object someone already screamed the words right out of my mouth.

"I object!" A girl ran out on the balcony taking Laurance from the grasp of Christopher and hugged him to herself.

"Who are you?" The man spoke angrily.

"I'm Laurance's girlfriend, and I have proof that Laurance is innocent." My eyes widened.

He has a girlfriend?

"Who's she? Is she new?" A voice spoke making me stiffen.

"You could say she's new, she's my old friend who just moved here after a long while." I could visibly feel the smirk from Kiki's voice.

"What's she doing? Did you make her upset already?" I blushed, I probably look strange now since my face was inches away from the table, luckily I had my shades on.

"Upset? No. Really nervous because of y'all's presence? Yup." I slowly lifted my head of the table, glaring at Zoey.

My eyes widened tremendously, the whole gang was sitting on the table. My eyes scanned around the whole table until it landed at the person who was sitting down at the end of the table. Laurance was chatting next to Lillian, who I assume is his girlfriend. I think I may need a burial for my heart

I could feel tears swell up in my eyes, right now it's no time for crying. But I couldn't help myself. The tears slipped down my cheek and more swelled up in my eyes. I could feel the person sitting next to me, who was Lucinda, rubbed my arms comfortingly.

"Zoey, I really think you did make her cry." Travis looked at me panicky.

"I don't think she's crying because of me."  I took of my sunglasses revealing my full face.

"Miss me?" I chuckled.

"Why Did You Leave Me? Remember You Promised Me You'll Never Leave Me! You Broke That Promise, w-why?" I remember clearly, that day when I was taken by Aaron I nearly missed out the part that Laurance whispered before he fell unconscious.

"A-Aph?" His voice came out raspy, I quickly looked his way.

"P-Promise me, that you'll never leave me." I looked down, I couldn't promise anything right at this moment.

"Promise Me!" He pleaded weakly.

I looked at his face, it was unbearable to see him in pain. "I-I Promise." I managed to speak before Aaron pushed me against him and sped away.

"And I did fulfil that promise, I never left you as long as I was in your heart." He pulled away looking at me.

The sound of the waves crashing against the shore brought me towards the cliffside, I admired the beautiful view of the blue waves crashing against the ragged rocks that escaped the sea level, I took a small step forward knowing if someone pushed me forward I was sure not to survive, but I took the risk anyway.

My hair swivelled to the right as the wind sudden arrival caught me off guard. I felt the cold fingertips of someone touching my upper back, I whiplashed my head around. Laurance stood there grinning evilly, making me look at him in confusion, before I could say anything my life flashed before my eyes as I was pushed down the cliff;

I screamed, but it wasn't like anyone would've heard me...

"Z-Zoey, was a great friend, a great sibling, a great sister. We had our laughs and we had our c-cries, sometimes I-I remember people telling u-us how much we act like s-sisters making us all end up in hysterics. But t-that fun had to come to an e-end, we couldn't always be t-together, it wasn't possible, b-but it wasn't impossible. S-She will always b-be in our hearts, and s-she'll always be remembered, no matter what." I walked in front of the closed coffin that decided to steal my sister away from me. Zoey always loved the colour red, she had some sort of obsession with it, so I got her red flowers knowing she was staring down at me with a smile.

As I was walking down the quiet corridor, an ear piercing scream made me gasp in fright, it was coming from the kitchen. I fearfully tiptoed towards the kitchen, completely scared about what awaits me in a few seconds. I slightly peaked my head through the kitchen door to only gulp in fright, I covered my mouth so no words escapes my mouth.

Molly was wiping blood from her mouth holding a knife ready to strike, while Teony was sucking the blood out of the maid that looked lifeless and pale. T-They were vampires.

I began to let my violent side take over, they hurt her, they killed an innocent person who was brought into all of this in a blink of an eye and she ended up having a slow and painful death. Before I could move someone softly griped my shoulders from moving. I took a deep breath and turned around, it was Laurance. He shook his head quietly gesturing me to not make any movement. His stoic expression caught me of guard, he seemed to be restraining himself from doing something. I turned back to Teony who looked like she just had a good feed.

I feel so stupid! I have this tendency to easily let people in so at the end they could just betray me. But maybe, it's because I don't want to be alone, but little did I know I was hurting myself even more. Only if there was one way this all could end, the feelings, the lies, the betrayal. It's like an never-ending road, but I guess that's what keeps us going.

Miguel walked in with his cold eyes darting towards Teony and Molly who seem to be too distracted to even know either of us was here. In a flash, Molly ended up unconscious on the ground with a broken neck while Teony was quickly injected with a dart that made her slip onto the dream world.

"Aph-" Laurance tried saying something but I tiredly cut him off and walked away.

"Hey, uh-" I stopped, I didn't really need to say anything.

"Oh! Uh... We have a guest." They walked to the side clearing the space.

A boy who looked the same age as me stood there looking at me as if I'll just vanish into fin air. He had green eyes, like the ones I have. I couldn't help but notice our resemblance, we both had the same features except for the fact that I had white hair while he had brown. Besides that, we look like each other a lot...

"Woah." I mumbled stupidly while walking slowly towards him, I was amazed by the fact that he actually looked like me.

"Hi, A-Aphmau..." Malachi seemed very nervous, I wonder why?

"This is Malachi, our old friend." Dante spoke making me look at him for a quick second before looking back at Malachi.

Malachi... Why did it sound so familiar? Who is this guy?

"Who are you? Why does your name sound so...familiar?" I question making everyone look at me confusingly.

He smiled, as if he was expecting this. "Miss me sis?"

"I dare you to make another move, I. Dare. You." Kole sneered while grabbing Malachi that was tossed on the floor in his human form, Kole grabbed his chin with his right hand and his head with his left one twisting it to the side.

I could hear the cracking of his neck making him wince, Kole started to tighten his grip making me gasp out loud. I froze as my mouth moved.

"Oh look! You moved." He whispered the last part loud enough so I could hear, Kole snapped Malachi's neck making his pleading eyes widen before slowly closing.

"N-No..."

I gasped as I opened my eyes and was brought back to reality, it was like I was frozen in time yet I was still there pondering about the good and bad memories I made,

But when I reached the bottom my body touched the water,

Where I forever drifted asleep.
