Aphmau POV

I trembled in my arms, I didn't feel this scared and angry in such a long time, when two of my emotions clashes it's never a good thing. Normally I would've given up by now, but something is keeping me here, in not a complete mess. I know that everyone is still conscious, their pale bodies laid still, sitting against the wall while chained up, Aaron and Jason were standing up their whole body chained against the wall in distraught. There was a coffin laid at the end of the room and I was scared to take a peak. What if it was Shad's body?

Ignoring my clattering teeth and my shaky hands, I walked towards the coffin cautiously. The coffin was chained up, but within my presence it burst into dust. I shakily sighed as I began to lift the lid of the coffin. I screamed in surprise as the person laid in the coffin was not the person I expected.

Ivan laid still in the coffin, with no signs of breathing. There was a stake through his heart left untouched, there were cracks in his skin looking like they would burst any second. I dropped the heavy lid on the ground and stood back. Who could kill him so easily and just leave him to rot in a coffin?

Footsteps trailed from behind me making my whole body freeze stiffly.

"Like my surprise?" I whipped my body around as I immediately recognised that voice, Lillian.

"To bad I couldn't do that to you instead. Unfortunately I need you for something, but who says I can't harm you." Lillian sent a powerful blow to my guts making me fly through the air and crash into the wall.

I screamed in pain as I felt a few of my bones crack, but I felt myself slowly healing and the pain subsided. I stood back up glaring fiercely at Lillian who was smirking evilly.

"As I expected, I didn't assume that you'll easily go do-" Before she could finish she held her throat choking herself, I was making her choke.

She fell to the ground in agony and I felt somewhat relieved that I'm not so useless. But all that relief soon vanished as she got up and dashed towards me, she tried biting my neck with her elongated fangs, but I quickly dodged while pushing her to the ground. She quickly recovered by grabbing a stake from the side and tried gushing it through my heart, I reacted by grabbing a wooden stick and attempted hit her with it, I succeeded but she grabbed the end of the stick making me flip through the air and land besides her. She straddled me while I struggled to push her off, she was about to stab me with the stake, but then I grabbed the end of the stake and burnt it with my flames making it disappear, Lillian as well got affected by the flames as it looked poisonous to her. I bring my flames towards her as she cowered back, just before I was about to strike her, I fell to the ground.

My whole body was burning up and my legs were giving up on me, my body was crying in pain feeling like it was getting chopped into a million pieces, I tried fighting the force that was pulling me down but I was unable to succeed. Someone else entered the premises making Lillian smile maliciously and in defeat as my flames were still surrounding her. I gasped as the poisonous air sucked out of my throat while it was closing up, I shrieked so loudly it could been heard outside, what was happing to me?

The clicking of shoes against the ground grabbed my attention, a man who looked like in his early twenties, was grinning deviously walked into holding his hand out while increasing my pain and bringing me up from the ground.

"What did I say about playing around with our new toy Lillian? We actually need her this time." He smashed me to the floor making me cry out in pain, I couldn't handle it no longer even if I was healing.

"Whatever Gene, but she's going to heal anyway so why not toy around with her, maybe I can get a little taste of her bloo-"

"No!" Gene screeched, he walked towards Lillian who got kicked in the stomach painfully.

"Her blood is for our master, never forget that." He growled sending another blow to her stomach knocking her unconscious.

I tried getting up, but even then my ability to heal weren't coming in useful right now, right now I lost faith, the faith I built up to keep myself strong, the one built to support my emotions and keep in place. But now everything is tumbling down, I've been defeated, if anyone saw me they probably thinking I was dead besides the small beating in my heart. My body was paralysed, each and every single part of my body begged for me to stop this pain, even I was begging myself to stop the pain, but I didn't know how.

"Seems I broken you a little bit too much." He shrugged, before I could at least whisper an answer, I felt like my life was knocked out of me.

I couldn't even scream to express how much pain I was in, all I knew was that I wasn't going to survive this.

Laurance POV

I tried to scream out for Aphmau but my voice didn't seem to work, I tried ripping the chains out of the wall but it was useless. I saw Aphmau get beaten up before my eyes, I also witness her powers which I couldn't even care a shit about now. All that matters is that she's safe, I can't believe that Lillian would do this, betray us. But I could say I've expected this, I knew there was something about her ever since she joined Phoenix Drop High, so I became her boyfriend to get the truth out of her, but I couldn't find any dirt on her, until now.

Anger built up in me, how dare she do this. I felt my fangs pointing my lips readying to bite the flesh out off Lillian and Gene. I had enough if this. I angrily tear the chains of the wall causing the bricks to rip out of the wall as wall, I bashed the bars that was separating me from killing Gene, I hissed in pain as I stared at my hands, fucking Vervain.

I banged my arm on the rail in frustration causing it to burn more, Gene appeared in front of me grabbing my arm and slamming my face onto the railing causing it to burn, I hiss in surprise. When I was about take a chance to attack I was too late, Gene already stabbed me with a vervain laced stake making me to drop to the ground and scream in pain. The others looked at me in misery while I slowly lose my conscious. N-No, I won't give up,

I have to survive for Aphmau.
