Laurance's POV

"Where Is She!" I shouted completely enraged.

I pulled my hair in frustration. I woke up strangely on the floor with everyone else who looked like they woke up as well. The front door was open and Aphmau wasn't here, so we assumed she went out. We searched the house while the guys checked outside the perimeter, in case she was close by.

Now we're all here, sprawled around the living room like we're done with life. I heard the front door creak open, but I couldn't careless. All I could focus on was Aphmau. She is probably sobbing in the streets not knowing where she is going. Someone walked into the living room, but I was too focused in my thoughts to pay attention.

"Guys, hurry up and get ready! You don't want to be late for school!" Aphmau scolded but I kept my head down, I could only focus on Aphmau....wait Aphmau!

My head flew up immediately looking at Aphmau, who was already dressed wearing a red dress with a denim jacket and black flats. Something seemed different about her, I just couldn't put fingers on it. I looked at her staring directly at her eyes. They weren't Hazel or brown, or Hazelish green or even brownish green. They were blue.

"Oh, yeah, Zoey do you remember what our Science homework was?" She looked at Zoey....She Looked At Zoey?

The others has seem to notice the Change of colour in her eyes as well as she can see. It's not a bad thing, in fact we should be celebrating, but it's the matter of fact that how did she get her eyesight back?

Laurance: Don't question her about anything, let her be happy.

I mind liked them so they won't bother interrogating her. Aphmau sat on the couch, she plugged her earphones in her ears, listening to music.

"Get ready quickly." She commanded as to get dressed.

I got changed in a matter time and so have the others. The girls took a little longer but we didn't mind. I just stared at Aphmau, not in a creepy way, watching her move her head to the beat of the music. It amuses me so much how she just forgets about everything moving on from all her worries, looking straight forward to her bright future. The girls has planned to take Aphmau on a trip in the last minute, they informed Hyria about the whole situation, but she took easily saying something about Aphmau needing to have some sort of holiday. We already packed our bags along with Aphmaus, we quickly put them in the car so she wouldn't suspect anything. Zoey and Lucinda were already outside waiting, but Kiki and Emmalyn said they were meeting us in the living in a bit. We're planning to take her out of town to Okhasis another town near the country side with beautiful buildings and landscapes. Aphmau somehow got her eyesight back so she would be able to enjoy the experience with us, we told our good friend Kenmur to look into the whole situation, Zane is going to meet up with him later since he is coming with us as well.

But we have to be very careful though, we are going out of town meaning more danger for Aphmau. I suspect the witch that Travis killed, has come back for revenge by going into Ivy's body. Ivy never used to have any sorts of Majicks or witchery and the proof that she easily tried to kill Aphmau and made us glue to the spot showed us how powerful she could get. She would try anything to get revenge. I also asked Kenmur to dig in any information about the lost wolf and the witch, to see if we missed anything important that we needed to know, we're only going for a week since we have no time to spare. Me and the guys had some bad feeling these pass few days including the girls, we've been very over protective of Aphmau, but we somehow left our guard down because of our foolishness.

Kiki and Emmalyn entered the room looking clean and ready for the day, Aphmau was busy listening to music to notice their suitcases. Snapping out of her mystical music world she eyed the two bags that they're holding unplugging the earphones from her ears.

"Uh, why do you got three huge suitcases?" Aphmau stood up wiping imaginary dust of her beautiful blood red dress.

Kiki smiled brightly." I think you should let Laurance answer that question." Aphmau turned to look at me like a lost puppy.

"Um, well we phoned the school begging them for a small break and we somehow convinced them to let us have a few weeks off, we're going to go to O'khasis." Aphmau's eyes lit up brighter than the stars.

"I've always wanted to go to O'khasis. I guess I didn't have the time, but right now it's perfect." Aphmau stuffed her phone in her pocket suddenly a troubled look made a way to her face.

"I need to pack!" She nearly rushed out of the room but I quickly stopped her.

"Kiki and Emmalyn already packed for you." I said sheepishly scratching the back of my neck.

"Oh, then thank you, Kiki and Emmalyn. Can We Go Now?" She asked eagerly.

"Yes." I laughed.

She squealed excitedly, running out the front door towards the car like a little kid. I smiled knowing that she's happy, during this past month she wasn't really happy like the time before she lost her eyesight. Running my fingers through my brown hair I walked after her while Kiki and Emmalyn followed. Everyone was already outside loading the bags and luggages. Strangely the weather in O'khakis is very warm comparing to the cold weather over here. Vampires hate the sun light, luckily we have chains around our necks that keeps us immune to the sun, sometimes I forget we're even vampires at all. Places like Phoenix Drop are located with a ton of humans, so we have to keep a low profile, but recently we haven't been doing as such. O'khasis is swarmed with witches, fortunately witches are allies with vampires and hate any types of wolves for an personal matter, making me extremely confused as to why the powerful witch that Travis 'killed' has gone against us. Witches have nothing against humans but if someone gets on their bad side accidentally or purposely, then they could risk exposing the supernatural secret, which is part of the immortal law controlled by the council.

The sun was setting, the skies were settling into their night forms. I sighed closing my eyes leaning against the window.

Why can't it always be this peaceful?

I've been very bad lately, with my habit of not updating with longer chapters. It's not like I have writers block it's just for intensifying the next chapter, just to create the suspense that's about to arise.

Also sorry for not updating like I usually do, (sometimes...I think?)

But I got some news, I'm writing a new book!!! I think the book would come out in a few days, so yeah. Or maybe it'll be coming out sooner then you think.😉
