Prom. The time to have fun, dance the night away, maybe even. Candace Flynn knew that Prom was all that, maybe more, but it was also the time for girls to be asked by theirs guys, as a sort of a declaration of love. Now where she stood in Jeremy's eyes was a mystery to her, but she knew that, if she wasn't asked by the Johnson boy, she probably wouldn't go at all.

"I mean it's like this Stacy," Candace explained on the phone, "It's the guy's decision to ask the girl and if he doesn't want to then I don't think I could manage going alone"

"You know, most guys are just too scared to actually ask, maybe if you switched it up and asked him. You never know, he might say yes."

"I guess... Stacy, gotta go, I'm asking Jeremy to prom."

Lucky for for her, she had already planned to go to the park with Jeremy today, and had told her mom that she'd be there. So, off she headed to the park, a girl with a motive, but free of a plan.

The she saw the blond boy sitting on the bench, twiddling his thumbs, almost nervous. Candace took no notice to it, as she was wrapped up in her own worries of what to say.

"Hi Jeremy!"she waved to him

"Candace! I'm so glad you came!"  Jeremy exclaimed

"Why wouldn't I?" Candace wondered

"Oh, uh... I don't know, paranoia I guess?"

"Heh heh heh... Well, I wanted to ask you something..." Candace played with her hair

"Oh? I wanted to as well, but..." He sighed "You'd probably say no..."

"Same here, I'm just so....."

"Scared" they both said at the same time. Then they turned to each other and it suddenly dawned on them. They both wanted to go to prom with each other.

"WILL YOU GO TO PROM WITH ME?!" They both blurted. They shared a laugh and eventually ended in a, "yes"

A/N: wow, been so long since I posted anything... Had this one saved cuz I try to have one or two other chapters completed before publishing, but I've been having major issues with this certain one-shot, so this is the very reason why I have saved up chapters. Just wanted to let ya few guys that actually read know, I'm still here, and still trying.
