Mahir's POV

Next morning I don't know what got in my mind...I just straightly woke up , get bathed and left for the café again .

May be somewhere in my heart , I was keeping the hope that she will come today again there, and that hope lead me to that café.

As usual I took my fav seat near the window in the café but this time my face was not facing the hills but the door . I was noticing every single person entering the café in hope to see her angelic face . For a moment I thought to go home ,but that single pinch of hope didn't let me do so ,I tried to work on my novel ,but couldn't .

In evening around 7 , after finishing like 15 cups of latte .I finally lost the hope to see her again.

and my way towards my car......I wasn't in mood of having my dinner because so many cups of latte made me loose my appetite today , god knows why I had them in plenty .

I started driving towards my house feeling dejected , all my hope scattered after not finding her .

I was driving silently but my heart was screaming "bela" out loud .

I m in love with her ,without knowing her... And I want her .

My thoughts got disturb by some high pitched sound, which seems to be screams of someone that too from inside the forest . I immediately applied the breaks and step out of the car .

I started following the sound of the scream . soon I reached a tree and see in the forward direction only to see some goons holding two girl who are the source of those screams and an another girl standing , her back facing me ..an another man having gun in his hands pointing towards the third girl .

it took me some moments only to realise that these girls are bela's friends whom I saw in the café with her that day....that means the girl is .. is Bela shit I have to save her.....

Without thinking , I immediately pick up a stone and throw it in that man's direction only to hit his hand making his gun fall down . all those goons looks in my direction including my bela and the two girls .

I run to them and pick up the gun immediately before that man could do so .

the two girls immediately runs to bela .

the goons were five in number ,and soon all five were down on ground , thanks to my daily gym exercises.😅😁..while bela and her friends keeps standing there .

I put the gun in my pocket and signal them to follow me ..

once we reach to my car , I immediately made them sit in my car ...all three of them were just following what I was telling them .

"why they were behind you all" I asked the girl siting on the shotgun .

" not us but particularly bela , they were after her " she said pointing towards bela

I didn't ask any other question for the sake of her private matter .but my heart was telling me the opposite..

"I m mahir seghal " I introduced myself to initiate the conversation after 10 minutes of straight silence...

" I m vish " the girl beside me introduce herself

" I m anu " another girl introduce herself.

" well , I m bela" finally I got to listen her voice ,despite her giggles in café

" where I can drop you guys " I asked

" me and anu have a train after an hour , bela need to be here but in some safe place" vish told me .

" safe place " I asked out of curiosity

" safe from that woman " she said in disgust.

" if you guys think it to be okay ,then bela can live in my house , I live alone ,my house is outside of the city ,so these goons will never be able to find her " I immediately offer them my aid .

"yeah that's sounds good " vish said while bela was expression less .

" how can be trust you with our friend , in fact we have not even seen your face " anu said only to remind me that I was wearing a pollution mask...

I smiled and immediately remove it while still driving . I found bela staring at me from the mirror

" now ? " I asked anu with a warm smile .

" now I think we can trust you" anu said with the same smile

" what you think bela " she asked her . I can see the confusion on her face clearly through the mirror

" you can trust me , I m not a criminal " I said to light her mood so that she can think clearly .

she simply nods may be because she don't  have any choice to save herself I don't know from what .

" great then , let me drop you guys first on station" I told them taking U turn towards city

first we went to the hotel where they were staying to pick up their luggage ..then we dropped them on railway station .bela cried saying bye to her friends I don't know the exact reason behind her tears but I need to know because I can't see her in tears .

After that we both sit in the car and headed our way to my house

Bela was looking nervous...or I should hell nervous and some afraid .

" don't worry bela , nothing gonna happen your are safe with me , think me as your friend " I said to make her comfortable with me .

she just look at me and pass me a small smile ...a small smile but gave me a large relief .

Soon we reached my home , she was looking surprised seeing my house ...I know its kinda beautiful

" follow me let me show you your room " I told her as we enter the drawing room .

once we reached the guest room I gestured her to open it as I was caring her bag ...I placed the bag in the room while she was observing it ..

" go and get fresh and meet me in the drawing room " I told her with a warm smile ,then left to room to go to my room .

I immediately take out my clothes and head my way to my washroom .

I let the warm shower take out what I experienced today , I let my brain admit about today , I let my heart admit that my love is nowhere but in the next room to me ,now I have to protect her .. first I need to make her comfortable with me so that she can share her problem with me .

with determination to protect her I stepped out of the shower , wear my clothes and then made my way to drawing room only to see her sitting there in a simple night dress of her with mickey mouse printed on it ,such adorable

I passed a smile when she noticed me , she did the same

" follow me " I told her making our way to kitchen ..she just simply nod and follow me .

" sit here " I told her pointing towards the stool in front of kitchen slap ..she did that .

" well bela, you can talk ,there is no tax over it " I said giggling .she smiled brightly .

" coffee " I asked her

she nods .....but then I looked at her ....

" sure " she said smiling

" good , keep talking " I said

soon I prepared the coffee pour it in two mugs .

" so tell me about yourself " I asked taking seat beside her on the other stool

" u know my name already , I live in Mumbai , just finished my studies " she said

" why those mans were behind you " I asked hesitantly.

her expressions changes .

" its okay if you don't want to share" I told her

she took a deep breath .

" actually they were behind my life " she said with a heavy voice .

" why ?" I asked out of shock

" my parents died in an accident leaving a business and six year old me , all the business get transferred to my name but I can't take the power in my hand until I m 25....I was raised by my uncle and his wife . He loved me like his own daughter but his wife has greed for my money ...my uncle passed away last year . after his death my aunt keep showing her fake love on me ,but I knew her intentions , she send me on a trip to celebrate my 25th birthday with my friend .I celebrated my birthday  with friends yesterday unaware of her intention....today in our way to café when we three were going there ..those goons forcefully made us sit in van . then took us to the place then they pointed the gun on me telling me that they were send by my aunt to kill me ,but before they could you saved us . thank you so much mahir ." she explained the whole .

" how could your aunt be so greedy and heartless at the same time " I said in disgust .

" Then why didn't you went back with vish and anu " I asked further .

" because I don't want to , I don't want to go to the place where I m unwanted " she made her point clear .

" but what about the business , without you they wouldn't be able to use it, plus how u would survive " I asked

" they can use it after one month of my missing , its a kind of point in the papers ,,that if I didn't accept the property after I m 25 within 1 month , then all the property will transferred to my caretaker and his family ,who was no one but my uncle, she will be happy " she said

" what about your future ,your things at that house " I asked

" well I was suspecting something like that , that's why brought everything important to me , soon I will get my degree so I can get job here , there I have nothing to go  back ,nor I wanna go " she said smiling sadly .

" important things, you have only a suitcase ,how your all important got into it " I asked

" come let me show you " she said getting up from the stool .

we go to her room ..and she started opening her bag

"see these are my heart and soul " she said pointing towards the things inside her suitcase after taking out all the clothes .

" they are photo frames , baby girl dresses  and a dairy " I said pointing them

" yeah ,that's all now I have from my parents " she said getting emotional .

" you are so strong bela "I said with respect for her in my voice

"nevermind" she said with a bright smile

"well thank you so much for letting me live here, its just a matter of one month "she said thanking me

" enough of this thank you , you can live here as much as you want ,I live here alone its really feels nice to see someone here "I said smiling

"what about your family" bela asked me

" well I have no one " I said sadly

she understood what I meant

" I m here na , your new friend " she said comforting me by holding my hand

" thank you so much " I said lovingly

" you must be hungry right, come " I said the moment when I felt that she was withdrawing her hand from mine, I didn't let her and made our way to kitchen ..

" what would you like to eat miss " I asked playfully to make her laugh

" anything u have mr " she said with the same tone

" well for now Maggie will be saver for us because f I don't have nothing to cook now , although I m a great cook " I said praising myself

" okay chef let me help you with chopping vegetables " she said

" why vegetables , I like simple one " I told her and she started laughing

" you are still kid who eats simple Maggie " she said still laughing .

" no ,its just like that I like them that way more " I said making my point clear .

" okay then today I will also eat the way u like them " she said smiling .

" okay " I said childishly.

soon Maggie got ready and I served them in two bowl.

" so what you do mahir " bela asked taking the bite from her bowl

" well, that's a secret" I told her smiling smartly

" come on tell me please " she whined like a small child

" okay I m telling you what you are suppose to keep it secret , promise me " I told her

" don't tell you are a secret agent or some shit " she said laughing

oh how much I love it when she smile .

" promise me ,or else forget that I m telling you " I told her faking my anger

"okay promise , I will not tell anyone whatever u are gonna tell me "she said

" good girl , actually I m a novelist , or u can say secret novel "I said and suddenly her expressions changes to serious .

"you are an secret novelist , like you haven't shown your face as a writer to anyone right " she asked .

" yeah " I answered

" but I haven't listen your name ever " she asked

" because I never mentioned my real name , my pen name is different "I answered her

" what is your pen name " she asked out of curiosity.

" Mihir ...."I couldn't complete my words

"Jaiswal "she said before me with  in her words

"yeah Mihir Jaiswal " I confirmed .

"oh my God you are mihir " she said jumping over her seat ..

" you don't know,i m your biggest fan " she said smiling yet almost screaming

she is my fan , that was something make my heart skip a beat .

" I have read all your books ,every line is my favorite , its like dream come true for me ,I always used to wonder what you are  , u never disclosed yourself ...I always used to wish to meet you once and see here u are in front me " said being excited

" okay okay calm down and finish your dinner its not a big deal " I told her normally

" off course its a big deal for a fan opps dieheart fan like me " she said joyfully

" okay ma'am its a big deal , now finish your meal , I m here only , in fact u are also not going anywhere " I said pointing towards her bowl which was still full

" okay. sir " she said still smiling ...
