How does one define justice? That good felling when the bad guy on a show gets what's coming to them? That frustration when an arrogant character gets away with being arrogant? (Never understood that trope by the way can someone please explain it? Is it just a joke? I've never seen it done well. Never laughed at it once.) Nope, not quite. Justice, at least my belief of justice, is that those who harm others are given adequate punishment for the suffering they cause.

For a collective punishment based example, there are twenty students in a class. Five commit vandalism. Due to lack of evidence, everyone, including the fifteen innocent people are punished. Under these circumstances, the one inflicting punishment should aptly be dealt the punishment they dealt fifteen times over as compensation for the fifteen innocents wronged in the process. That, in my opinion, would be justice.

When you harm another, emotional or otherwise, you must either atone and hope the one you hurt forgives you, or face repercussions. If you are the cause of collective punishment, then fell no remorse. YOU have done wrong only the initial crime. The one inflicting punishment to everyone has committed a crime much worse than you.
