Excessive swearing ahead.

Oh my God I forgot about this one! OK, so I said this chapter, should it ever be written, would focus on the definition of justice, but this is way to important to ignore.

Today, I'm going to tell you a story from my 10th grade year. The story of a teacher who shall be referred to as Mr. Jackass.

Mr. Jackass, was a math teacher at my school. I heard stories, horrible stories, but I thought they were wildly exaggerated. How wrong I was. The stories were nothing compared to what awaited me.

It took me one day to see where the class was going first day, he set up a tally system. Good and bad, for the whole class. OK, bad sign, but I'm sure the whole class will be at fault for this right? He continues explaining how he teaches, and I begin to see sevral red flags.

"You don't know what this means yet, (referring to the tallies) but you are going to hate people over this." Actual quote mind you, word for word excluding the parentheses.

So, translation, "what I'm doing is wrong and leads to bullying, I know it's wrong and leads to bullying, but fuck you, I'm doing it anyway."

Eight minutes in and I already wanted to drop the class. Later he said this, "if one person doesn't do it right, it sticks out in my mind." This quote, filled me with a burning hatred, and I was only twenty minutes in. I put two and two together and saw what was happening. If he's diagnosed with OCD, fine, then that quote actually makes sense and my hatred would be unjust, but I didn't see him showing many other signs of OCD so I'm gonna assume he's just an asshole.

Basically, he used ONLY collective punishment even if it's literally ONE FUCKING KID! It only got worse as time got on, but there was no way for me to bail. I couldn't follow the advice I gave you last time and, "get the fuck outta douge." There was no way out.

So let's review, Mr. Jackass, knew the problems with the system, obviously knew the culprits, and would even punish over miss pronouncing some words so... WHY THE FUCK HASN'T HE BEEN FIRED!?!

Seriously, he still holds his job. It's a damn shame, but whatcha gonna do? Sometimes, there's nothing you can do, and you just gotta grit your teeth, smile, and vent through writing.

Mr. Jackass, if you're reading this, and realize that you are being referred to, then remember when you said, "you're gonna hate people over this?" Yeah, the one I hate is you. Just sayin.

Moving on, has anyone had a teacher worse than this? I would love to hear about it because I'm preety sure there's no such person out there, and if you've had such a teacher, you have my condolences.
