The Next Day

Malia's Pov

I'm not sure what to think nor what to feel.

The factory was destroyed, the moonstone is gone, the wolves are close to dying, and zombies and wolves aren't allowed to come to prawn.

So yeah, life right now sucks.

Right now I'm in Emily's room, waiting for her to fall asleep so I can get ready for prawn.

I really didn't want to go for two reasons.

1 was because I wanted to stay home and take care of Emily.

2 was because if Wyatt, the wolves, or zombies aren't allowed to come then there's no way I was going.

But as always, Addison and Bree always find their ways to make me come.

Emily still won't fall asleep, all she's doing is playing with  her toys in her crib.

"Princess I really need you to sleep, mommy has to go to this dumb prawn soon and I need to get ready" I begged.

Emily just giggled and continued playing.

I sighed in defeat and hung my head.

Just then the door opened and Missy came inside.

"Malia sweetie, go get ready with Addison and Bree. I'll watch Emily" Missy said with a smile.

I sighed in relief and smiled.

"Thank you so much Missy" I said, "of course sweetie, now go on, go get ready" Missy ordered.

I giggled and nodded before leaving the room.

I grabbed my dress and shoes from my room and went into Addison's.

Addison was already in her prawn dress but she was fixing her hair.

Bree was in her prawn dress as well but she was doing her makeup.

"Finally, you're here" Bree said.

"Yeah, hurry and get changed, we need to leave soon" Addison said.

"Sure thing" I said.

I went into Addison's bathroom and changed into my prawn dress and shoes.

(Pretend the rose isn't there)

I smiled as I looked at myself in the mirror.

'Mom, dad, and Audrey would've loved to see this' I thought with a sad smile.

I shook my head and left the bathroom.

"Well, how do I look?" I asked.

They both turned around and smiled. "You look beautiful Malia" Bree complimented.

"You look like a real princess" Addison said, "well technically I am but not anymore" I joked and we all laughed.

"Come on, I'll do your hair" Bree said, I nodded and sat down.

Bree got a few things out of her bag and placed them on the bed.

She took out the curling iron and started working on my hair.

Addison finished her hair and smiled. "How do I look?" Addison asked.

I smiled and nodded, "beautiful as always girlie" I complimented.

Addison smiled and laughed, "thanks" Addison said.

She grabbed a black shoe box that had her high heels inside of it and took them out and began putting them on.

"I wonder what the place will look like?" I said.

"Maybe something bright, beautiful, and amazing" Addison said.

"It still won't be the same without the others" I said with a sigh.

"I know, I really wish Bonzo would be there" Bree said while putting the curling iron down.

"I wish Wyatt was there, going to prawn without my boyfriend just sucks" I said.

"He still wanted you to go, if I remember correctly he said he wouldn't talk to you for a week if you didn't go to prawn" Addison teased.

I rolled my eyes but nodded in agreement.

'It's still not going to be the same without him' I thought in annoyance.

"Alright, you're done" Bree said. I stood up and went to look at my hair in the mirror.

"Thanks Bree, you did an amazing job" I complimented.

"Thanks" Bree said, "let me do my makeup and then we can get ready to leave" I said.

Addison nodded and looked around her room for something.

I sat down at her vanity and took out my makeup.

Just this once I decided I would add some sparkle to my makeup.

I quickly started doing my eyelashes and put on some blush.

I took out some lipstick Addison had that would work well for me.

I wanted to go with something simple yet amazing.

I just hope it looks good.

"Alright, how do I look?" I asked.

I stood up and faced them, wearing my new makeup I just placed on me.

The girls smiled and squealed.

"Oh Malia, you look beautiful, I absolutely love it" Addison complimented.

I giggled and nodded, "thanks Addy" I said.

I sighed and looked down. 'Wyatt would've loved this' I thought.

Bree came up and hugged me.

"Come on, we should get going" Bree said.

I smiled and nodded.

I quickly made sure I didn't leave anything before leaving the room.

I said goodbye to Missy, Dale, and Emily as the three of us left the house.

We walked to school for a few minutes.

Talking and laughing with each other.

Finally we arrived at the school and went inside. Once we got inside we were in complete awe.

The place was beautiful, everything was set up perfectly and beautiful.

'This is way better then the prom's back at Auradon' I thought with a smile.

Me and the girls walked over to the snack table and got a few things.

I grabbed a cookie and ate it, I didn't feel like talking to anyone else minus the girls or dance.

"I mean, this is nice and all but it would've been more fun if our friends were here, the ones that make things more fun" I explained.

The girls nodded and sighed.

I can tell Bree wanted to be with Bonzo.

Even though Addison and Zed were either broken up or taking a break from each other I can tell Addy really wanted him to be here.

Same with me and Wyatt.

It's not the same without him, without his hugs, without his kisses, everything about him is making me miss him even more.

I don't even know why I came.

I'm not going to have any fun if my other friends and boyfriend aren't here with me.

Maybe I should just leave.

Just then we heard footsteps, multiple footsteps.

I turned around and my eyes widened.

Zombies and werewolves were here.

They were actually here, they were all smiling and wearing their formal wear.

Bree squealed and ran to Bonzo.

I smiled at her before walking up to Willa and Wynter.

"You guys came" I said and they smiled.

"Of course we did, no dumb law is stopping us from having our fun" Willa said with a smirk and I giggled.

Just then someone touched my shoulder, I turned around and saw Wyatt.

He was wearing a nice suit that made him look 10x handsome.

I smiled and hugged him, he chuckled and hugged back.

"I'm so glad you came" I said, "of course we came, I'm not leaving my girl here alone" Wyatt said.

I smiled and pulled away from the hug, "you look handsome" I complimented.

He smiled and looked at me from head to toe.

"You look beautiful, red is a nice color on you" Wyatt complimented.

I smiled and blushed.

He extended his hand for me and smiled.

"May I have this dance?" Wyatt asked.

I giggled and nodded, "you may" I said.

I grabbed his hand and he pulled me onto the dance floor.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Let me guess, Zed persuaded you guys into coming?" I asked.

He smiled and nodded. "He came to the den and convinced us to crash the prawn" Wyatt explained.

I smiled and shook my head, "that's the Zed I know and love" I said and we both laughed.

Wyatt caressed my cheek and I melted into his touch.

He spun me around a few times and wrapped his arms around my waist as I laid my head on his shoulder.

Wyatt kissed my cheek and I giggled.

We went back into our position from before and smiled at each other.

I looked at Wyatt with love and admiration in my eyes.

He smiled softly at me and leaned down.

I closed my eyes and leaned up as our lips touched each other.

Just then the ground started shaking and everyone screamed in fear.

Wyatt held onto me and growled a little.

"Come on" Wyatt said as he dragged me away so we could get to safety.

What the hell is going on?
