The Next Day
Malia's Pov

I woke up early the next day, I was really tired but I knew I had to get up for school.

Sighing in annoyance I got up and made my way to the bathroom. 

I took a quick shower before exiting and changing into some nice clothes.

I smiled before grabbing my bag and heading downstairs. 

When I got down there Emily was already in her baby chair eating breakfast.

Addison was there as well in her cheerleading uniform.

She saw me and smiled, "hey Malia" Addison said. 

"Good morning Addy" I said, I made my way to Emily and kissed her cheek.

"How's my little princess doing?" I asked with a smile.

"She ate her breakfast, which is good, I got worried she wouldn't eat" Addison said.

"That's just how she is, she's a little picky of what she eats, just like her momma" I said with a smile.

"Then she totally is your daughter" Addison said. 

I rolled my eyes at her but smirked when Emily giggled.

"Dad is already at work and mom is getting ready" Addison said.

"That just leaves me to take Emily to Eliza's house so her mother can watch her" I said and she nodded.

"Don't forget today is the nomination, the one Bucky was talking about" Addison said and I groaned in annoyance.

"Don't remind me" I said and she giggled.

I grabbed myself an apple before walking to Emily and picking her up. 

Emily looked at me and smiled.

"Mwama" Emily said, I smiled at her and nearly cried.

"Awwww, she said her first word" Addison said with a smile.

"Yes she did, and it's me. I'm so proud of you princess" I said as I kissed her forehead.

"Well you better get going, we don't want to be late" Addison said, "sure thing, see you at school" I said.

"Obviously" Addison said, I rolled my eyes at her but nodded.

"Let's go my princess, I have to take you to your babysitter so I can get to school" I explained.

I grabbed the baby bag before waving goodbye to Addison and walking out of the house.

At Seabrook High School

"I'm telling you Eliza, Emily said mama today before I dropped her off with your mother" I smiled.

"And I believe you, I'm just mad I missed it" Eliza groaned and I giggled. 

"I'm really thankful for your mother watching Emily when Missy and Dale aren't able to, are you sure she's alright with it?" I asked.

"Of course she is, she loves kids, and she doesn't work that often so she has enough free time" Eliza reassured me and I sighed in relief.

"Thank goodness, I was scared for a moment, I really don't want to bother others with my problems" I said.

"Malia relax, you're not a bother to any of us, we're glad to help you raise Emily. She's really cute and fun to be around" Eliza reassured me.

"Yeah she is, I love her so much, she is my princess after all" I smiled.

We soon spotted Addison and Zed playfully arguing with each other about prawn. 

We sighed in annoyance before making our way to our friends.

"Ugh, you guys even fight like a perfect couple" Eliza groaned, making all of us laugh.

"How's it going Eliza?" Addison asked.

"Oh you know, fighting injustice keeps me busy" Eliza smiled.

"And looking good while doing it zom-bae" Addison and I said together as the three of us did our handshake and giggled.

We heard Bucky say something to us but I zoned out for a while. 

I'm mostly thinking about Emily, but at the same time I'm thinking about Prawn.

I mean, do I really want to stay and take care of Emily?

Or should I go and have the time of my life?

Just then I was snapped out of my thoughts when the two ACEY girls walked over to us.

"Oh, Addison" Lacey said, making all of us turn around.

"Once I'm cheer captain, you're so off the team" Lacey said. 

Before Addison could speak I walked next to her and wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

"And when Addy is cheer captain. You, Stacey, and your other ACEY follower are welcomed to leave. Trust me, the cheer team doesn't need any discount barbies and kens with them" I mocked.

Eliza and Zed burst out laughing while Addison covered her mouth to stop herself from laughing.

The two of them glared at me but I glared back, making them back off.

The both of them dragged Addison away, leaving me and my friends.

Zed and Eliza managed to calm themselves down and stood up straighter.

"You're the literal best when it comes to roasts" Eliza said.

"I know, it's my speciality" I smirked while flipping my hair, causing the both of them to laugh.

Zed wrapped his arm around my shoulder and gently ruffled my hair.

"How's my amazing best friend doing? Along with my beautiful baby niece?" Zed asked.

I smiled softly at him and nodded.

"I'm doing alright, thanks Zed. Emily's doing good too" I smiled.

He smiled back and gave me a brotherly kiss on the forehead before pulling his arm away from my shoulder.

"You guys have fun, I need to put my things away, see you at the nomination thing" I said before walking away.

I made my way downstairs to get to my locker. I placed my bag inside and started fixing my hair.

I took out a black box that was inside my locker. 

I opened it and inside was my rose gold locket that has my name on it.

It was a few years ago, I was 12 and Audrey was 13 at the time.

It was Christmas and I was at home with my entire family, opening presents.

Mom gave me and Audrey black boxes. Inside was a locket for us.

Audrey has a gold locket with her name written on it.

I got the rose gold locket with my name written on it.

Inside was a picture of me and Audrey when we were five years old. We were at the park that day.

Me and Audrey were sitting on a bench together.

I had my arm wrapped around her waist and she had her arm wrapped around my shoulder. We were laughing and smiling. Mom took that opportunity and took a picture of us.

I smiled at that memory and wiped away a few tears streamed down my cheeks.

I quickly clipped the locket around my neck and placed the box in my locker. 

I closed my locker before walking away. I had to get to the nomination in time.

At The Nomination

I was able to make it in time before being late. 

I made my way to Addison and Bree. 

Addison noticed me and smiled but that was soon changed with a frown.

"Are you alright?" Addison asked in concern.

"Eeah, why?" I asked in confusion.

"It looks like you were crying" Addison said.

My eyes widened in realization and I just shook my head.

"No don't worry, it's nothing serious" I reassured her. 

She narrowed her eyes at me before nodding and turning her attention to the front.

I zoned out most of the time since things were boring and principal Lee made a fool of herself.

I was snapped back into reality when Bucky made his dramatic entrance.

"Great news, we have a brilliant and cheer tested candidate running for president this year. Me" Bucky smiled.

Everyone started cheering and clapping while I just smiled and clapped.

As annoying and rude Bucky is he still is really nice to me and Emily so I don't want to be rude and not cheer for him.

But once again I zoned out and just stared off into space. 

That was until I was snapped back into reality once again when I saw Zed fall off the bleachers and land on the floor.

He pushed Bucky out of the way and smiled.

"ZOMBIE STRONG!" Zed shouted and I smiled even more.

"Hello, my name is Zed and I'm running for president!" Zed yelled.

Me and the girls looked at each other and smiled.

"What, Zed can't steal my spotlight. What about the whole anti-monster thingy?" Bucky said.

"Anyone can run for president Bucky" Addison yelled and I nodded.

"She actually has a point Mr. Bucky" Principle Lee said before walking off the stage.

"A zombie president" Lacey said.

"Ew" all the ACEY'S whined. 

I rolled my eyes at them and turned my attention to my best friend.

"Ok, if you vote for me I will bring you prosperity and awesomeness!" Zed yelled. 

This time everyone cheered louder than before.

I smiled and cheered for my friend. He needs a little work on his speech though.

"As your president I will make Seabrook a place that embrace zombies and-" Zed said but was cut off.

"Werewolves" Bree said, pointing behind us. Me and Addison looked at her confused.

"No, why would we want...werewolves!!" Zed shouted in fear while pointing towards the door.

We all turned around and soon a bunch of werewolves stormed inside. Everyone started panicking and screaming in fear and ran away from them. 

Addison screamed and ran away as Bree followed behind her.

I looked at everyone, completely confused. 

Why the hell are they scared?

"There she is" a girl with curly black hair said.

I looked at her in confusion. They tried running up to us but Zed ordered the football team to form a defense position.

"Where's the moonstone white hair?" the same girl asked.

"I think you've got the wrong person" Addison said in fear. 

I just looked at her, still completely confused.

"Sorry but she doesn't know what you're talking about, find this moonstone somewhere else because it certainly ain't here wolfie" I shrugged.

The same girl looked at me in annoyance. She snarled loudly at me, expecting me to flinch but all I did was glare at her.

I glared at her and pushed her away from me.

"Don't snarl at me wolfie!" I growled in anger.

She stumbled back a bit and her eyes widened as she stared at me in shock, along with the other wolves.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes and just looked at each and every one of them.

Until one particular wolf caught my eye. 

It was a boy who was standing next to the girl with black hair. I saw his cheek was bandaged and that's when it hit me. 

That's the same werewolf I kicked in the face that day I got lost in the forest.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by another werewolf girl.

"Our razor sharp claws will gut them and splatter their blood."

Everyone flinched in fear, and once again, I didn't flinch. 

Instead I did the complete opposite, burst out laughing.

Everyone, including the wolves, looked at me weirdly.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry. It's just...that was so funny and unreal" I said as I clutched my sides to prevent myself from falling.

"Too much?" the werewolf girl asked nervously. 

The black haired girl, which I'm assuming is the alpha, nodded her head before looking at us.

"Wolves, on my command" the girl ordered. 

All the wolves eyes flashed and they snarled at us, making everyone more scared then before. 

I just stared at them as I crossed my arms. Just then the werewolf boy next to her placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her.

"Willa, we can't go to war with the whole town, we'll never find the moonstone if they're on high alert."

Well I have to admite, he's smart. 

Whatever this moonstone is that they're looking for they'll never find it if so many cops are watching them 24/7.

"I hate it when you're right. Wolves, stand down" Willa ordered. 

Soon all of them calmed down and their eyes returned to normal.

"Sorry, we werewolves so admire your town and we just came here to...join your school" Willa said with a fake smile.

I know fake smiles when I see them. 

Plus Mal had the same fake smile when she first arrived at Auradon with her friends.

I felt my anger rise up when I mentioned Mal but I calmed myself down before I could do anything.

"What, they can't join our school!" Bucky yelled.

"Technically the forbidden forest is within the school district" Coach said.

"So welcome to Seabrook" Addison smiled. 

I smiled as well, at least there's new people to hang out with.

Me and Addison pushed our way to the front and waved at the wolves.

The wolves waved back nervously and smiled awkwardly at us..

"Nice to meet you, I'm Malia Rose" I smiled. The werewolf boy walked up to me and shook my hand.

"Nice to meet you Malia, I'm Wyatt" Wyatt smiled. I smiled back and nodded.

His hand was so warm, when I let go I was a little upset but I didn't show it.

Addison must've noticed because she smirked at me and nudged my arm.  I rolled my eyes at her and playfully smacked her shoulder.

Today was going to be interesting.
