A Year Later
Malia's Pov

Hey guys, it's me Malia. So much has happened since I came to Seabrook.

First things first, I've still been living with Addison and her family and they've been really nice to me.

Me & Addison do basically everything together, she's like my second sister. 

Addison & Zed have been doing really well in their relationship. They're a really cute couple.

Same with Bree & Bonzo, they're a really cute couple, I love seeing them together.

Me & Eliza have gotten really close and we're best friends. She gets me, she is like me, I love it.

Sometimes we both feel like third wheels because the couples are always hanging out together and act all lovey towards each other.

It's really cute but gross at the same time.

Eliza doesn't mind being single, she says that it gives her more time to focus on coding.

Me, well, you know after my relationship with Ben I'm not interested in dating anyone, at least not yet.

I'm just scared I'll get my heartbroken again, and I don't want that.

Besides that, I met another family member of Addison.

It's her cousin, Bucky. 

When I first met him and we explained my situation to him he was shocked, but supportive.

We hang out then and there but he can be annoying sometimes, he reminds me of Chad.

Speaking of family, I threw myself a gender reveal party. 

Addison and her parents recommended it and I decided why not.

I invited all my friends to come and celebrate. Well, only the ones that knew about my past.

I found out the gender of my baby, and it's a girl.

The girls were so excited they were squealing non-stop, the guys were smiling and congradulating me.

A few months later I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl Emily.

She looked exactly like me.

She had my hair color and she even had my smile.

She did have some of Ben's features in her, like the eyes.

But even so I love her no matter what. 

When I first held her in my arms I promised right then and there I would protect her with everything I had.

Addison wouldn't stop squealing. Bree, Zed, & Bucky fainted because of my daughters cuteness.

Eliza & Bonzo were smiling non-stop, I swear I saw a few tears in Bonzo's eyes.

Missy & Dale were smiling. Missy was the first one to hold my daughter and she nearly cried.

After being released from the hospital I found a nice baby room set up for Emily when I returned home.

Missy was kind enough to set up the room, along with Addison's help.

I couldn't stop smiling and thanking them. 

They have done so much for me and I really don't know how I'm going to ever repay them for taking me into their home and supporting me all the way.

I thought having to take care of a baby would be hard work, but it wasn't,.

Emily was a really easy baby to take care of.

She hardly ever cried at night, she would quietly eat her food and go straight to sleep, and giggles whenever I do something funny.

I loved being a mother, even at such a young age.

When I had to go to school Missy was kind enough to watch Emily while Dale was at work and me and Addison were in school.

And if Missy couldn't take care of her Eliza's mother would offer to take care of her since she hardly worked that much.

My life here in Seabrook is really really amazing. 

I'm so grateful for my friends supporting me through everything, along with Missy and Dale for taking me into their home.

It's been a year since all of that has happened.

I'm now 16 years old and Emily is 1.

Me, Addison, & Bree are at cheer camp together. 

Emily is back at home, being taken care of by Missy.

I wasn't going to come because I wanted to take care of Emily. 

However, Missy reassured me that she will take care of her and that I should go and take a break.

It was true that I really needed a break from being a mother and have fun, but Emily is my number one priority, she's my daughter after all.

But after begging from Addison & Bree I finally gave in and decided I would go.

I just hope Emily is doing alright. 

Yes, I'm an overprotective mother, but that's only because Emily means the world to me and I would die for her.

"Malia, come on" Addison yelled out to me.

"Coming Addy" I yelled out with a smile and ran to catch up to her and Bree.

Here I am now, at cheer camp with my two best friends.

I smiled and made my way to my best friends. I stood in between Addison and Bree.

"Split up" Bucky yelled.

We parted ways and Bucky came running. 

He did a cool flip and landed perfectly while smiling. 

Everyone cheered for him while I smiled and just clapped.

"You've all heard of the stories of bloodthirsty monsters who roam these woods, feasting on innocent cheerleaders" Bucky said. 

'Seriously dude' I thought in annoyance.

I swear I'm going to murder him, whether he's my friend or not.

"Boo" the two ACEY girls shouted from behind us. 

They startled Addison and Bree while I just rolled my eyes and glared at them and they quickly looked away.

I'm not scared of anything, I've went through a lot and learned to get over my fears. 

If anything they learned not to mess with me.

"But those stories are just make believe, but you better believe we're going to break you guys down into cheer machines. Like Lacey, Stacey, and our most recently ACEY Jacey. Long live the ACEY'S" Bucky said.

Everyone cheered while I just rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

"You three will lead the veterans, you're team A" Bucky said.

He then turned to me, Addy, and Bree and smiled and handed us green vests.

"You three will take the newbies, you'll be team Z" Bucky said.

I smiled and sighed in relief.

I didn't want to be on the same team as him and those damn ACEY'S.

I smiled and turned to the zombies, "let's show those idiots that we can do this" I said and they all smiled.

"The ACEY'S always win the cheer camp cup and they will again" Bucky said.

I smirked at him, "we'll see about that" I said in confidence.

The ACEY'S walked up to us and smiled, "watch and learn snowball" Lacey said.

"Say that to my bestie again and I'll shove my fist up your ugly face" I threatened.

Addison, Bree, and our team giggled while Lacey looked at me in shock before walking away, the other two following behind her.

Me and Addison walked up to each other and wrapped our arms around each other's shoulders.

"Let's show them what we can do" Addison said and I nodded in agreement.

"We got this everyone" I yelled and they all cheered.

"Yeah, with pride and cheer we can win" Addison said.

"Team Z on three, one, two, three, Z-team" everyone yelled in excitement.

"HECK YEAH" I cheered as me and Addison rang the bell together. Z-team won and those dumb ACEY'S lost, it's amazing.

"Z-team wins" Bucky announced and we all cheered.

Me and Addy high fived each other for our victory.

"ACEY'S, disappointing. You can't be afraid to get those jazz hands dirty" Bucky said, making them look at him in confusion.

"Fine, cheer cup is yours" Bucky said as he handed the cheer cup to Addison and we all cheered again.

"There you go, now let's make this victory about me" Bucky said and I rolled my eyes at him.

"I've decided to be school president this year, now there's technically but come on" Bucky said with a smirk.

"Who the hell would vote for him?" I whispered to Bree and she giggled.

"Which means we'll need a new cheer captain when I'm ruling the school, whose worthy to lead?" Bucky asked.

"Me, me, me" the ACEY'S said together and I rolled my eyes.

I walked up to my Addison and wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

"If anyone is going to be cheer captain it has to be my best friend Addy" I said with a smirk.

"We need someone who can build a united squad, who better than Addison" Bree said with a smile and everyone cheered.

"Thanks Malia, thanks Bree" Addison said with a smile and I smiled back at her.

"Anything for my bestie and second sister" I said with a smile as we both hugged each other.
