The Next Morning
Malia's Pov

I woke up the next day, not really sure how to feel. I sighed before getting up from my bed and heading to the bathroom.

I took a quick shower before getting out and changed.

Emily was still sleeping. 

Missy would be home all day until me and Addison return home so that's taken care of.

Addison must've already left because she wasn't downstairs when I got there. 

I shrugged it off as I grabbed a bagel and left the house.

Today was cheer practice and Addison is running it today. Cheerleading isn't all that bad, just wish it would be more fun.

I don't really like the cheerleading uniform but there's nothing much I can do about it.

I made my way inside school. I made it to my locker and found Bree standing by hers.

I smiled and made my way over to her as I opened my locker.

"Hey Bree, how's it going?" I asked.

"Hey Malia, it's going well, just a little upset" Bree said sadly.

"Why, what's wrong?" I asked, "it's just, Bonzo still hasn't talked to me that much or asked me to Prawn. I'm scared he might not like me anymore" Bree admitted.

I smiled softly at her and placed my hand on her shoulder.

"Don't think like that Bree. Bonzo loves you and you love him" I reassured her.

"Really?" Bree asked, "of course, there's no way he would stop loving you, he cares too much about you to leave you" I explained.

Bree smiled and hugged me. 

"Thank you so much" Bree said, "anytime Bree" I said.

We pulled away from the hug and she walked away.

I quickly grabbed my things and headed to my first class which was English.

Luckily the teacher was running late so I still had some time left.

I sat down on my seat and took out my notebook and pencils. 

I turned around and noticed Wynter next to me.

I didn't know she was in this class.

I smiled at her and waved, she smiled back and waved.

"Hey Wynter, I didn't know you were in this class" I said.

"Neither did I, but once I got my schedule this class was the first one on the list" Wynter explained.

"Well that's awesome, finally something good in this class" I said and Wynter chuckled.

Just then an idea popped into my head. "Hey Wynter?" I said, getting her attention.

"My best friend is running cheer practice today and I'm on the team. If you want you can invite you and your friends to come, I'd love to see you guys there" I offered.

"Really" Wynter said, clearly excited. I giggled and nodded, "yes Wynter, I mean it" I said. She squealed and pulled me into a hug.

I laughed before hugging her back.

"Thank you, thank you, I'll let the others know" Wynter said, "awesome" I said with a smile.

Just then the teacher came in and told everyone to be quiet and take out our books. I sighed in annoyance before taking my things out as class started.

After Classes

Finally classes were over and it was time for cheer practice.

I made my way to the locker room and got changed. I still didn't like the cheer outfit but I can't really make the decision.

I just hope that once Addison is cheer captain she changes the uniforms up a bit.

I got myself changed before heading into the gym.

I made my way over to Bree and gave her a side hug as we started chatting with each other.

Just then Addison came in and we all got into position.

She smiled at us and blew the whistle.

"I'm so fired up to be running cheer practice, together we can do anything" Addison announced.

I smiled at her but everyone else looked nervous. Me and Addy were confused.

Bree pointed behind her. I looked and saw the werewolves, minus Willa, sitting at the bleachers.

I smiled and waved at Wynter who smiled and waved back.

"Sorry, but this practice is for cheerleaders only" Addison said and I looked at her in shock.

Wynter stood up and let out a laugh. "Ha, just try and get us to leave" Wynter challenged.

"Wynter, some respect" Wyatt scolded as he sat up.

I quickly made my way over to Addison and placed my hand on her shoulder.

"Addy, I invited them to watch us cheer, please don't kick them out, they're my friends" I begged her.

Addison looked at me confused before smiling.

"No, I don't want them to leave, I want them to stay" Addison reassured me.

I sighed in relief while the werewolves and the other cheerleaders looked confused.

"Show us what you can do, the cheer team is for everyone" Addison said.

I smiled and motioned them to come and join us. 

They looked at each other before deciding to join us.

I smiled and ran to Wynter and hugged her as she hugged back.

"I'm so glad you came, I was worried you weren't going to come" I said as we pulled away from the hug.

"I would never do that to you, I just had to ask the others if they wanted to come and luckily they all agreed, except Willa of course" Wynter explained.

I giggled and nodded in understanding.

"Well come on, show us what you wolves can do" I cheered.

The wolves smiled at me as they all got into position.

Wyatt stood next to me and smiled, I smiled back at him.

"Five, six, seven, eight" Addison announced.

When I landed Wyatt caught me and I smiled at him. He smiled back and put me down as everyone cheered.

I laughed before hugging Wyatt as he laughed and hugged me back.

"That was amazing" I said, "yeah, you are all natural cheerleader" Addison complimented.

"We wolves work well together" Wyatt said. 

Me and Addy looked at him weirdly, "but I'm not a wolf" Addison said.

Wyatt just smirked and shook his head.

Just then we heard coughing, we looked and saw Wynter coughing really badly. 

Her necklace turned green and she fell to the floor.

Bree doing her best to hold her by keeping her arm around her.

"Wynter?" Wyatt asked in concern. 

She kept coughing for a bit before finally calming down.

I looked confused and worried, 'what's going on' I thought.

Just then Bucky came in and started clapping. 

"Well done Addison" Bucky praised.

"With werewolves on cheer this election is so in the bag" Bucky said with a smile. 

I scoffed and crossed my arms at him.

"Bucky this isn't about politics. I always felt like cheer could unite" Addison explained.

"You're going to make a great cheer captain" Bucky said, ignoring what she said before.

Addison smiled and her eyes lit up, "i'm going to be cheer captain" Addison said.

Everyone clapped for her as I ran and hugged her. "I knew you could do it sis" I said as I kissed her forehead.

"I was thinking the team could move beyond trophies and we can start an outreach program" Addison explained.

I smiled and laughed. 

"Great idea Addy" I complimented, "woah. Cheer is about what I say, and it's about winning" Bucky said before walking away.

I rolled my eyes at him and scoffed, "look I love Bucky but he can be an ass sometimes" I said.

Addison nodded before she hung her head, clearly upset.

I frowned and hugged her.

"Don't listen to him Addy, you're going to make a great cheer captain, I just know it" I reassured her.

Wyatt came up to us and smiled. 

"Malia is right, you are a leader Addison, but something a lot greater than cheer" Wyatt explained.

Me and Addison looked at him and smiled. 

Though I was a little confused by what he meant by that.

Then I spotted Zed by the door and he looked mad.

I nudged Addison and she finally noticed him. 

"Zed" Addison yelled as she ran out the gym to catch up to him.

"Well this is going to end well" I said sarcastically.

Wyatt just smiled and laughed, making me smile.

"You know, I never really seen you wear a skirt before" Wyatt said.

"Yeah, they aren't something I'd wear everyday, but I would wear them a few times" I said.

He gently caressed my cheek and I felt my face turn red.

He smirked at me and scanned me up and down.

"Well, I think you look really pretty in this uniform, or any other clothing for that matter" Wyatt said, still smirking.

At this point I was redder then a tomato.

I frowned and gently pushed his hand away from me cheek and just looked away.

"Malia, are you ok?" Wyatt asked in concern.

Just then my insecurities came running back to me and I shook my head. 

"I'm not pretty, don't tell me lies" I said, not wanting to face him right now.

He grabbed my chin and made me look at him.

"Don't say that, you're beautiful" Wyatt said. 

"No I'm not" I argued, refusing to look at him.

I guess you can say that after Ben left me for Mal I started thinking that I wasn't pretty enough for him.

Maybe that's why he left me, because Mal was prettier than me.

Wyatt once again grabbed my chin and made me look at him.

Just by his facial expression I can tell he was mad.

Honestly seeing Wyatt mad is both scary and hot.

"Don't ever say that you hear me" Wyatt said in a serious tone.

"You're beautiful, more beautiful then anyone in the entire world. Don't ever say you're not beautiful because you're wrong, you hear me" Wyatt said.

I stared at him with wide eyes and jaw slightly dropped.

'He really thinks that?' I thought.

I got over my shocked state and smiled at him and gently pulled him into a hug.

"Thank you Wyatt" I said, "anytime beautiful" Wyatt said.

After a few minutes I pulled away from the hug. 

"Hey, how about you go get changed and we get out of here. I want to show you something" Wyatt said.

I looked at him confused before nodding. "Meet me outside once you're done" Wyatt said.

I nodded. I quickly grabbed my bag, said goodbye to Bree and the others and left the gym. I made it to the locker room and changed into my regular clothes.

I quickly left and made it outside. I spotted Wyatt waiting for me at the entrance.

He saw me and smiled. I smiled and made my way over to him.

"Ready to go?" Wyatt asked and I nodded.

"Great, let's go" Wyatt said. He grabbed my hand and we walked together.

We were heading into the forbidden forest. I was confused as to why we were going there but shrugged it off.

As long as I'm with Wyatt I'm fine.
