Push and Pull

People just love to say how they were in just the right place at just the right time. What a coincidence! But I beg to differ. Nothing in life is simply a coincidence. There are subconscious pushes and pulls, like those of magnets, that paint life and its series of following events in just the right place. The way in which our stories are written are quite perfect 一 no holes or fraying plotlines. It's as if the weavers of this tapestry are perfectionists. All three draped in cloth of white while knots of red thread adorn their fingers as they weave life together.

They intertwine plotlines, add new ones as old ones begin to finish. Some might be shiny, others dull, some fat, others thin. But what matters is that nothing is ever a coincidence when life is created by three divine weavers that keep time moving slow and steady. They foretold your engagement years before you were ever born, your death before you were conceived. But life is funny like that.

People don't like to think that we are trapped by our fate and destinies written by those who see us as merely a string or thread. They like to believe in options and free choice and that those fate driven events are merely coincidence. But no. You are a string in a tapestry that you cannot control, whose design is the big picture we can never see.

Magnets, whose pulses push and pull. Polar opposites that attract and intertwine, like red and yellow to orange, like how water and seeds result in plants and life. A legacy with roots to take hold forever and ever, endlessly woven into the tapestry we call life.
