Scarlett woke up hearing some faint sounds. Her heavy eyelids fluttered a couple of times before she felt unusual coolness around her. She gripped the bedsheet tightly and sat up.

Her throat felt dry and her hands shivered when she somehow managed to switch the night lamp on. Turning to look around, she gasped looking at the figure standing not so far. 

"Y..you? What are you doing here?" She spoke a little loudly and her spine chilled after recognising the person. Her reaction couldn't be justified more.

"I am here because of you! You brought me here!" The figure closed the distance between them and sat besides Scarlett on the bed. She flinched back and pulled her legs near her chest. 

"I didn't. How could I?" She was backed off listening his reply. 

The room was dimly lit by the yellow tinted lamp but she could still see his handsome features. His eyes shone deep red and his soft silky hairs ruffled by the winds chilling her spine even more.

"You know what you feel for me Scarlett, and the same feeling brought me here!" He spoke calmly. She stared his lips moving slowly as his heavenly voice slipped these words slowly.

"I.. I don't. I don't feel anything!" She shuttered and pulled her gaze away. She could feel him closing the distance. She shut her eyes and tightened her grip on the blanket as his pale, cold finger crawled slowly up her arm. 

"Wh..what are you-" 

"Shhh!" He cut her and his finger landed on her trembling lips. He bend a little to face her He whispered in her ears slowly and sensually. She felt shivers all over her body as his soft palms cupped her face. 

"I.. I am not... I.. don't-"

Scarlett woke up with a thud sound. Her room was the same as her dream described it. Dark and noiseless. She pulled the blanket apart to unveil her sweaty body heaving loudly for some fresh air.

She glanced around but the darkness rarely met her expectations to find the source. She pulled herself together ignoring the paranoid thoughts and ones that were related to the dream, to stand and walk a few steps towards the window. 

"What the-"

An instant cry escaped her lips as she felt felt a sudden jerk. She was held by her shoulders with her aching back forcefully pushed to the wall.

"Why are you doing this?" The unknown entity almost yelled at her. 

"Leave me! Ah!" She tried to escape her grip but he was too strong in front of her. Her struggles were worth only to tighten his grip on her shoulders.

"It's all because of you! Every fucking thing is related to you and that bitch.. you mother -"

"Watch your mouth Mister!" Scarlett gritted her teeth as she glared fire right in his eyes. 

"How poor of you. You even don't know my name!" Jimin smirked while leaving her with a little rage. 

"Why would I need to?" She stopped abruptly refraining herself from splitting something very unfortunate. 

Jimin sighed and closed distance between them as he stared right through her soul.

"Wha.. what are yo-"

"Shhh!" He cut her with his finger landing on her trembling lips. He closed the distance between and let his words reach her ears, slowly and sensually. She gulped hardly trying to escape his tight, unnatural grip.

"Don't even try to do this! You still have some time to change your target!" He chuckled lightly with a audible evilness drenching his warm breaths, "Because I might love you to your death!"

Scarlett shrieked a little and almost jumped in her bed. The scene in front was shocking as well as relieving to some extent. 

"Oh! We.. we are really sorry! Did we just scare you?" The blond Taehyung, climbed the window inn before flashing his boxy smile with a little nervousness remarkable in his tone.

Scarlett kept staring him for some moment. Her breaths still uneven, owing to the nightmare that just finished.

"We.. we apologise for our unprofessional behaviour!" The guy with Red hairs, bowed slightly and proceeding him the black and the grey did. 

Now what Scarlett felt was more scaring. She asked loudly, "What are you doing here? Who.. who allowed you in?" 

The four faces fell abruptly. From the very scared and shocked tone the Alpha took the command and spoke up. 

"I.. I am Kim Namjoon." He said pointing along, "He is Kim Seok-Jin, Jung Hoseok and-" 

"Taehyung! We met before you remember? At your Dad's cabin.. you were cr-" The overexcited Taehyung took a hold of his tongue when his big brother's glare landed on him. He dropped his neck down whispering a sorry.

"Yeah so.. we are the members of Bangtan Sonyeondan." Scarlett heard carefully as Namjoon resumed, "We.. we just came to see if you were fine and.. please forgive us for we know our way was wrong but our intentions weren't to scare you. It was just that-" 

"No. It's okay! I'm fine." She sighed and sat properly on her bed when something strike her mind and her eyes widened, "But.. but why do you think I wasn't fine?"

"Eh? Because we know you weren't!" Jin's eyebrow shrinked on the weird query.

"I was fine.. from the whole day I guess!" She didn't remember anything happening to her. Everything seemed blurred and fainted.

"You don't-?" Hoseok guessed the possibility and whole pack got the idea of what might have happened.

"What?" Scarlett was confused and scared a little, "What is it guys? Tell me!"

"You don't remember they tried to-" Taehyung forwarded towards her and she flinched back to mark her discomfort. He read it in her eyes and stepped back with a hurt smile.

"Actually, we saw someone kidnapping you to the woods today. We.. we tried to search for you in the whole area but we didn't find you. We were scared for you and finally found you here.."

Taehyung nodded thoughtfully as he heard his brother explain her the incident, "We don't know how you got here.. nor could we sense you anywhere.."

"Sense what?" She raised her brows as Tae but his tongue.

"No.. nothing.. you are fine that's all!" Jin came to rescue and felt the need to change the topic, "You still can't recall anything?"

"No I.. it's all faint and I can't remember anything happening like that." She pressured her drained mind but all she could feel was a pain in the back of her head.

"It's.. its okay! Don't worry just take care of yourself!" Jin spoke while signalling something to Namjoon and the latter nodded understandably.

"Yes and if you need our help we will be around always!"

"What are you... bodyguards or something?" Scarlett chuckled but was rather confused, "Why would you guys protect me?"

"You.. will get it soon!" Taehyung spoke with a polite smile and all left through the window one by one.

Scarlett walked to the window and saw them walk away whispering something but one stopped and started walking towards her. It was Taehyung she guessed in the dark.

"Ah.. we.. we are having a small party tomorrow. Just the four of us." He stood out of the window not meeting her eyes while speaking, "You can join us with your friends!"

He stopped and glanced at her face to read the look she was masking nicely.

"Actually.. I am not quite a party person. I like things quite!" He smiled as if she misunderstood him in some way.

"No.. it's not a party actually. Just a dinner in a small restaurant.. it's.. Jin hyung's birthday actually." He scratched behind his neck as if this wasn't to be revealed.

"Oh! I see!"

"We are arranging this small dinner against his wish of course.. so if you can join.. I mean I promise it wouldn't be loud!" The excitement and tone of his wasn't easy to deny to.

Scarlett was in a trouble now. Though he doesn't seem a wrong person but something in the back of her head kept bugging her about it.

"I.. I will try to come! But please don't expect!" She tried to keep it as polite as she could but the hurt was well expressed on latter's charming face.

"Ok then.. bye!" He left without turning back.

She watched his silhouette joining others and disappearing within the bushes behind while everything kept playing at the back of her head.

The dream that felt real.

Another dream that was quite real.

And this unnatural unexpected invitation.

"What's wrong with me?"
