When the tree folks of E'Allean faced an unnamed enemy for the first time in many centuries, Chief Eochagan sent out the best warrior to get aid.

The mist rose above the tree village's thatched roofs. Old Eochagan watched it linger while leaning his good leg on the hut's door frame.

"Go and don't come back without Adalbert's answer," he sighed.

Osgar grunted a response before stepping over the threshold with his wings tucked in.

Chief Adalbert of Gaalune made a decision.

Adalbert twirled the blade in his hand, watching Osgar's spit fly. He already made up his mind before the winged warrior stepped foot in his tent.

After the tree village, they would be next, swallowed in the smoke of destruction.
