Darkstalker has been really strested with the threat from the Icewings. So Phantom was in charge while his father trained the army.
Phantom was patrolling the kingdom. He loved flying. Sometimes he thought he was a Skywing because of how much he flew.
Phantom huvered in mid air. He saw a Seawing run into a cave. Phantom let out a hiss. "How dare a dragon sneak into our kingdom."
Phantom dove down and landed into the cave. This was the hatchery. He saw a green tail slither into the shadows. Phantom hissed and lunged at the Seawing.
The Seawing let out a yelp as Phantom tackled him to the ground. Phantoms back talons held his wings and tail, while his front talons where on the Seawings neck.
"What are you doing!?" Phantom hissed.
"Im here to get my egg!"
Phantom tightened his grip on the Seawings neck.
"What do you mean?"
"I was taking my egg back to the Sea kingdom."
Phantom read the Seawings thoughts. He was telling the truth. Phantom loosened his grip and the Seawing sprung up.
Phantom was knocked to the ground. The Seawing was going to bite him when Phantom blew fire in the dragons face.
The Seawing hoared in pain. Phantom jumped up and tackled the Seawing to the ground. One of the near by guards heard the noise and ran in.
"Prince Phantom are you ok?"
"Im fine Galaxy. Take this Seawing to the dungon. Ill tell the king."
Galaxy noded and flew off with the Seawing. Phantom shook himself and walked out of the hatchery. His body hurt everywhere.
Phantom shook it off and slowly walked to the palace. Darkflame was flying near by and saw Phantom. He dove down and laned next to his friend.
"What happened to you?"
"A Seawing went into the hatchery and i fought him."
Darkflame looked at Phantom in shock. Phantom stumbled over his talons and fell. Darkflame quickly caught him. He put Phantom on his back and carried him to the palace.
"Dont worry Phantom."
Clearsight saw Darkflame and ran out of the palace. Darkflame landed and showed Clearsight.
"Bring him in Darkflame."
Darkflame ran inside with Phantom on his back. Clearsight pointed with her wing to a table. Darkflame slid Phantom on the table.
"You are free to go Darkflame."
"But what about..."
"Ill make sure your the first dragon to know about my son."
Darkflame noded and flew off. Clearsight began to work on Phantoms wounds.
"Man... Darkstalker is sure going to remember this..."
