Work together
I finished Valerie!!!
I know she's not that chubby in the show but I like that.
I'm going to fix it later and change it.
Huntress' shoulders should be higher because shes crouching.
Alright nvmd. Shes fixed.
Danny bit back a scream of frustration and pain as he got hit by yet another rocket. What did he have to do to get rid of these stupid hunters.
He couldn't use too many of his powers in fear of hitting someone in his own team. And his team couldn't get into the Fenton Space Craft. Guess why.... Because the human hunters had taken it over.
Danny's parents were taking care of that now. Fighting their way in and kicking the hunters out. But there were only two of them, not counting the sixteen inexperienced teenagers and overweight teacher. Fifteen actually, Danny amended as the Red Huntress kicked out another one. He wondered how she would explain Valerie's disappearance an the Red Huntress' sudden entrance.
Suddenly he heard something. The halfa turned to see a black alicorn with Chelsea on top flying towards him. Leroy jumped over hunters as he bounded towards the majority of his friends.
Danny grinned happily and flew down to meet them. He tried to keep away from his friends so they wouldn't get caught in the crossfire but right now he wanted to find out who that alicorn was and how the girls were here so early.
Danny zoomed towards Leroy and hugged him fiercely. The monster whined as he put up a paw, also happy to see his master.
Melissa jumped off and walked away from Danny's little reunion.
Chelsea landed with her alicorn, who didn't wait for her to jump off and bucked. She bit the ground and pushed herself up, sending glares at the neighing steed. "You think that's funny huh? I'll show you funny," she muttered.
The students tried to get a good look of the newcomers and especially the new addition to their ever growing group. However, the hunters weren't taking a break. Introductions would have to wait.
Danny gave Leroy one last pat before running towards Chelsea, who stomped her way to the alicorn. Melissa snickered beside her.
Students gave Danny wide eyed looks as he passed, mostly disbelieving and shocked.
Oh yeah, Danny remembered. And there's that tiny fact that they're finding out my secret.
Dorian, a constant reminder, floated next to David in full form. He made shields and shot blasts once in a while, but made sure not to waste all his energy.
"Who's that?" Danny asked Chelsea, referring to the alicorn.
She frowned at it before turning to Danny. "This is Blackjack. The one Time guy told us to pick up. Don't you remember?"
Danny blinked as 'Blackjack' growled at him. He narrowed his eyes and took a step back. "Nightmare? Huh, barely recognize him without the armor."
Chelsea nodded. "He looks so much better without it. Don't you, Blackjack?"
The stallion huffed and blew in her face. She giggled.
Danny scrunched his nose. "Alright so how did you guys get here so quick."
Melissa smiled and pointed at Leroy, who kept nudging Danny's side. "He led us through some doors and holes. Must have been shortcuts. He knows the way pretty well."
Danny blinked and looked at the monster. "You used portals? You never told me you knew them?" He asked him.
Melissa glanced around in confusion. "What's happening? Where did all these ghosts come from?"
Danny gestured for them to get farther in the circle of humans so they wouldn't get interrupted. "They're hunters. They're after me because I'm a halfa."
Melissa winced. "Oh. That sucks."
Danny nodded. He found who he was looking for and tapped her shoulder. Kim turned. She smirked. "No plan? Again? What. Who is that?"
Danny pointed at the horse. "Blackjack. Chelsea's new pet. So I was wondering if you came up with something yet."
Kim inspected Danny from top to bottom. She pursed her lips. "Are you hiding any more secrets we could use?"
Danny gave a suffering look. "Nope. They're all out. Make something out of it."
Kim's eyes rested on Danny for a few more seconds before switching her gaze to Melissa and Chelsea. "I want to know how you got here in half the time it was supposed to take."
Chelsea's eyes widened. "We got here that fast?"
Melissa explained again. "Leroy took shortcuts through portals and doors."
Kim glanced at said ghost and nodded. "Danny, when we get all the human hunters from the ship, we get all our classmates in. We send Leroy ahead with the friendly ghosts as we use a distraction for the hunters. Leroy takes us to a portal and everyone else follows."
Danny smiled. That could work!! Except. "The doors are too small and natural portals only open for a short amount of time. We won't be able to get everyone through in time."
Kim nodded, deep in thought. "How did your parents get the ship in the Ghost Zone."
Danny shrugged. "I'm not really sure."
"Tell them to use that method to get through the door. We could destroy the door when we're through."
Danny grinned. "Kim, you're a genius!! But..." Danny paused. "What distraction are we going to use against the hunters?"
She smirked. "That's when you come in."
Danny scrunched his eyebrows and looked at her in suspicion.
She shrugged. "I think you know what to do."
He gasped. "You- no! I am not using the ghostly wail. That could harm the humans or my cousins and so much could go wrong."
Chelsea and Melissa blinked at them in confusion.
Danny continued his rant. "They're too spread out anyways. If I miss a few, I'll be too tired to to fight them off and the whole plan will fall apart."
Chelsea frowned. "What are you talking about?"
Kim waved her hand. "There has to be a way to close them all together. We could round them up."
Danny gripped his hair. "Yeah but they'll escape. The only way to keep them close it by putting a shield. I can't hold up a shield that big AND use the whail. And no one else here has enough power for that...." Danny paused. That wasn't necessarily true. He flinched and looked at Blackjack. The unicorn could do it. But there was no way Danny was going to work with that thing? They were enemies. They had fought and neither had come out unscathed. Sure it wasn't as bad as Danny and Fright Knight but they had a rivalry.
However as he saw Chelsea standing next to the alicorn he thought: The friend of my friend might as well be...my friend...even though he used to be my enemy.
He groaned. "Blackjack can make the shield. But there's still that problem about the human hunters. They could just phase out...although." Danny brought a hand up to his chest, where Nightmare had shot him. "Maybe his magic can hurt humans."
Chelsea hesitated. "I think it can but I'm not sure. Anyway what do you mean by 'ghostly whail'?"
Kim nodded. "We could test it. Chelsea, tell Blackjack to shoot at human hunter."
Chelsea's eyes widened. "There are human baddies?!"
Danny nodded and pointed at one out. "Nightm- uhh. Blackjack. Shoot that guy for me?"
Blackjack snorted at him and shook his mane, as if saying: what if I shoot you instead?
Danny gave him a suffering look and Chelsea patted him. "I don't know either, buddy. Just do it please."
The horse sniffed like 'whatever' and his horn glowed.
"Hey you!" Danny shouted. "The ugly human with the cyborg arm!"
The guy looked at them and saw the blast coming. He smirked and went intangible. It was wiped from his face when the shot hit him square in the chest.
Danny and Kim nodded as the guy yelled in pain and was thrown back. Danny turned away from the smoking hunter. "So it works. I guess we could do this. I'll ask the Red Huntress for help. You tell the others the plan and get them in the ship. Chelsea.."
The girl tore her gaze away from the unconscious guy and looked at him.
"Tell your new...pet...that we are going to round up all the hunters. He has to put a shield around them-"
"You can tell him yourself. He's right here and he's not my pet." Chelsea crossed her arms.
Danny clenched his jaw and glanced at the alicorn, who was glaring at him intensively. He took a breath. "Blackjack? We're trying to get everyone out and me and you have to work together to get out alive."
The alicorn growled and Danny held up his hands. "This isn't fun for me either, ok? But please just help...me..with this."
He fluttered his wings and shot at the boy, who was barely able to dodge.
Chelsea jumped in between them as Danny glared dangerously. "Whoa whoa there you guys. I don't know what has gotten into you but now's not the time for an argument. Blackjack. Common just help alright. We need to save my friends. Please? Do it for me?" She pouted.
Blackjack looked down at her and nuzzled her. She laughed. She turned around to see a gaping Danny and looking as if the craziest thing happened. Chelsea smiled. "He'll do it."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~π~~~~~~
Danny picked up another hunter and threw him the ever growing circle of bodies.
Valerie was flying around on her board and herding the last of human hunters out of the ship with the help of Jack and Maddie.
When the last of the human hunters were out Valerie inspected the ground. She flew down and picked Medusa up.
"Red human girl!!" Medusa's snakes waved. "Is your friend safe?"
"Ummm." Valerie pursed her lips and moved her head from side to side. "You could say that. Anyway thanks for the help. I think you stoned half of them. Which is half of how many we need to worry about later."
They landed in the Greek temple. Valerie smiled at her. "Want me to help bring all the staues here later?"
Medusa's eyes glistened. "Oh it's quite alright. They look fine just where they are. Will you visit Medusa?"
Valerie hugged her, surprising even herself. "Of course I will. See you later." She flew off.
Medusa smiled. "Medusa hopes so."
Blackjack was shooting away and keeping the collectors from escaping. Chelsea on his back to keep him in line. He seemed to have a soft spot for her.
Danny grinned as he highfived Valerie.
"That's the last of them," she said.
Danny nodded and looked at Blackjack. "HIT IT."
A big dome surrounded the HUNT. It was light green and seemed to be cracking with life.
Danny whistled. Nice shield. Then he sighed as he remebered it was his turn now.
He checked on his cousins. They were all close to the edge. Leroy at front and ready to leave.
"Go when you hear it."
They nodded and wished him good luck.
Danny nodded and flew back. He landed in between his classmates. They gave him worried looks.
The halfa glanced around. "Are we sure everyone's here?"
Maddie smiled. "Yes. Are you ready?"
Danny kept flinching when his parents looked at him. Waiting for the moment when they would jump him and dissect him or even look at him with disgust.
But still nothing happened.
His mother approached him and kissed his forehead. "Go kick their butt, my little hero."
Danny almost got tears in his eyes. His voice cracked. "What?"
Jack put a hand on his shoulder. "I'm proud of you, son."
"But-" he stammered. "I'm halfghost! You hate Phantom! I- I'm a freak of nature." All the pent up fears came out.
Maddie furrowed her eyebrows in sadness. "We love you, sweetie."
"Wether you're a boy, ghost...or something in between." Jack smiled. "I thought we already established that."
Maddie chuckled. "We always tried to get you into ghost hunting. But you already had a business all of your own."
Jack grinned. "We can go ghost hunting together. I'll let you be my sidekick!"
Danny smiled and wiped the tears from his eyes. "Thank you guys. I uuh..gotta go now." He backed away.
His parents smiled, nodded and he ran towards the shield.
He stood in front of it. He could see inside.
The hunters ran around screaming and trying to break open the barrier with no success. The thing that worried Danny was...he couldn't hear them.
And if it he couldn't hear them, would they even be affected by the ghostly whail? It being destructive completely thanks to loud sound waves?
He would have to try.
Danny planted his feet on the ground, not noticing the people behind him, staring at the scene.
Danny balled his hands into fists. "GOING GHOST."
Wassup mah people.
Schools starting tomorrow yay.
So yeah im starting up with them cliffies again hehe😎
