   The wolf growled and squirmed. It turned its head this way and that in blind confusion.

Maddie's eyes widened. "Kids. Get back here." She strangely felt a sense to protect not only her son but also his clone...no, cousin.

Leroy was about to jump at the other ghost but Danny quickly grabbed his horn. The humans were surprised he could hold back such a big force with one hand. "No boy. It's just scared. We need to calm it down. Cujo stay here." The dog was in big furious bulldog form and growling at the new ghost. Danny held him back with his other arm.

Dani frowned in concern. She took a careful step forward. "Hey. It's ok. Calm down. We're not going to hurt you."

The wolf caught sight of the girl and blinked. It said something unintelligible and paced in circles as it inspected its new surroundings with a wary frown.

Mikey whispered: "What did it say?"

Sam shook her head. "It isn't Ghost or any other language I know."

Tucker pointed at his Fenton phones still in his ears. He hated them but he'd completely forgotten to take them off. "It's asking, more like demanding, where it is. And who we are."

Dani halfturned. "Can you give me that for a sec?"

Tucker shrugged and chucked it to her. She caught them and put them on.

Danny frowned. "Be careful. Last time a ghost reformed in front of me, it attacked in wild rage."

Dani nodded but looked at the wolf closely. "I think it's sentient. Hey boy. I'm Dani."

The wolf snapped its eyes in her direction. It seemed to scoff. "I'm a girl. Who are you? Where am I? What happened?"

Dani smiled and made a face. "Sorry. I already told you. My name is Dani. You're in the Ghost Zone."

"What?" The wolf's blue eyes followed everyone. "The Ghost Zone?" She started panting and Dani didn't know why.

The halfa girl stepped closer and held her hand out. "Hey it's ok. Calm down."

The wolf glared at the hand with mistrust and smelled it. Dani slowly let it rise and rest on the other ghost's head. She started petting her.

The wolf growled but quickly stopped. She closed her eyes in pleasure. "Oh that's good."

Dani giggled and patted her back too. Her green fur seemed to bristle like a fire. It was fluffy and full. "What's your name?"

The wolf opened its eyes and frowned. "My- my name?"

Danny blinked. "It said that in English."

Dani scowled at him. "It is a she." Then she stopped to consider. "She did?"

"I did what?"

Sam thought it over. "Well she is kind of a newborn ghost. And children learn quickly."

Jack's eyes glittered. "So this is how ghosts form?"

Dani had her attention back at the ghost. Danny yanked Leroy and Cujo back swiftly as a warning. Cujo lay down and Leroy lessened the threat. He still sent evil looks at the shewolf. Danny let go of them and approached his cousin. "So what's her name?"

Dani looked at the wolf expectantly but she didn't say anything. "I don't think she has a name."

The wolf lowered its head. "I don't remember."

"Well we should give her a name."

Dani pursed her lips. "How abouuuut Lollypop."

Danny laughed as the wolf frowned. "Original but I don't think it fits."

The wolf shook her head.

"Ok ok. Partypoopers", Dani grumbled. "Stephanie."

The wolf blinked at the name. She stared at Dani intensely. The girl in front of her smiled and petted her head again. "Her name will be Stephanie and you can't talk me out of it."

Danny chuckled. "Sure ok. Stephanie."

The wolf was still staring at Dani when she stepped forward. She started sniffing her legs and arms. Dani giggled. "Hey. You're tickling me."

Stephanie pressed close to her. She huffed as if coming to a decision.

Danny waved his hand at his pets distractedly when they growled. He smirked at the interchange between Dani and her new found friend. "Wellll seems like you don't need Cujo anymore to keep you company."

Dani looked at him. "What do you mean."

He gestured at the ghost. "She doesn't look like she's going anywhere anytime soon."

David groaned suddenly. "We don't have place for someone else."

Dani grabbed Stephanie's head and held her close. "I'm not leaving her."

Tucker shook his head as David spluttered. "Forget about it, David. She doesn't have Danny's genes for nothing. He even convinced his mom to let him keep Leroy."

David's eyes widened. "He did?" He turned to the woman, disbelief evident in his voice.

Maddie nodded begrudgingly. "But now I hear he has another pet. And his cousin has also gotten a pet and we are not keeping ghost pets in our house." She frowned.

Danny pouted.

Dani frowned. "Stephanie isn't a pet. And why would I leave her in your house?"

Maddie turned to Jack and he smiled. They knew what they were thinking. Jack talked excitedly. "Danny, we want to invite your cousins to be a part of our family."

Danny's eyes widened. Dani gripped Stephanie's fur tightly. David gasped. Damien made a strange gurgling sound and Dorian dropped out of the air.

David stuttered: "Really?! All of us?" Surely they meant only Dani. They wouldn't want someone like me or Damien or Dorian.

Danny choked. He crouched down, not being able to contain the excitement and hope out of his voice. "Are you being serious. Please don't tell me it's a joke. Because it is not April Fools. You guys always get that wrong and almost gave me a heartattack when you said I was adopted on September," he rambled.

Maddie nodded with a smile as Jack grinned. "Yes all of you. We want to adopt you. You are family in a way after all. We don't want you wandering around and digging your own house in a random island like homeless beggars."

David frowned sadly. "But. But I.." He looked down at his hand in disgust.

Jack put a heavy hand on his shoulder. "We'll help, boy. We are ghost scientists after all. You'll be walking around looking like a handsome teenager before you could say 'the fudge is in the fridge'."

Damien grinned as he clapped a stunned David on the back. "You hear that, David. They can help stabilize us!"

Sam's eyes widened as the word reminded her of something. She looked around to see Dorian still on the ground. She looked down at the still half full syringe an pursed her lips. She slowly got up and made her way to him. She was careful to pick him up. The goth looked back to check that everyone was still focused on the Fenton parents and swiftly walked away from the group.

When she had put a reasonable distance between them she lay Dorian on the floor. "Common Dorian. You know I can't inject you if you're all tiny like that. I could cut you in half."

The green light flickered once before brightening. It got bigger and soon Sam had a full sized ghost in front of her.

He was the only one that looked like Phantom but he was also the most unstable one. Half of his body's liquid had melted. He dripped from the ground where he lay and looked at her with tired eyes.

Sam frowned. "Why didn't you contact me sooner you idiot. You're almost dead."

Dorian chuckled. "I am a ghost, Samantha." He was the only one who could call her that. Not even Danny would risk it but for some reason, Sam didn't mind with Dorian. He wasn't one for nicknames anyways.

"Congratulations. Now you look the part." She slid the liquid in what was left of his arm.

She breathed a sigh of relief when his glow brightened and his ectoplasm hardened. His body regrew and now he looked like an exact replica of Phantom.

He grinned and floated up. He stretched. "Ah yes. I feel much better now. Will you thank Daniel for me."

Sam raised an eyebrow. Dorian also called Danny 'Daniel', much to the boy's disgust. He still tried to get him to call him Danny. Sam had rolled her eyes. If she let someone call her 'Samantha' then he had to be called 'Daniel' and not make a fuss. Besides, people are not going to call him 'Danny' when he is thirty. So he might as well get used to it. "Why don't you tell him yourself."

Dorian gestured to his appearance. "Daniel asked me to keep his identity a secret. Although the humans seem awfully close to the truth. And his parents want to adopt us. They will find out how I look soon enough."

Sam sighed and plopped on the ground. "What do you think of that. Being their son. Being Danny's brother."

Dorian sat next to her with a hopeful but also sad smile. "It would seem amazing. Daniel is a great cousin and I am sure he would make a better brother...but if they are successful in stabilizing us...I would rather want to go out there. Be the hero. Help not only in Amity park. I have heard many stories from Dani and Damien. Of other countries."

Sam stared at the distance. She could just make out Danny's form as he jumped around his cousins. "You could help Danny with ghost fighting. You know, stick around. I guess you couldn't go to school given how you look." Sam laughed. "Imagine that: Phantom sitting in class next to Dash and Paulina and listening to Mr. Lancer."

Dorian snickered, although he didn't know those people much. "That would be amusing. But you are right. Daniel has a life. I don't. I want to help people. Safe the day." He puffed his chest out. "Crime is not only committed in Amity Park!"

Sam shook her head at the boy. She smiled fondly. "You are a true hero. I guess it's in your ectoplasmic DNA."

Dorian inspected her. How she stared at the ground smiling at a memory. "You should tell him."

She snapped her head up. "What?!"

The side of his mouth rose. "You should tell Daniel of your feelings for him."

Sam scowled. "Are you crazy. Why would I do that??"

Dorian looked at the distance. "We both know you are harboring feelings for him. He is too."

Sam couldn't contain the blush. "He is? How can you be so sure?"

He snorted, a weird sound to come from him. "Samantha, I do not need to share his DNA to recognize the lovestruck eyes he keeps sending your way."

Sam still seemed unsure so Dorian played his last card. "Besides. He is a handsome young man. Who knows someone will beat you to it. I have noticed a certain redhead ogling him once in a while."

Sam scowled a dark goth scowl. A scowl you would not want directed at you because you would have to lock all the doors and sleep with one eye open. "Melissa," she growled.

So yeah this is shorter than usual but remember my limit is 1000 (im uppjng it to 1500 words) but i keep updating around the  2000 lately.

And what did you think of the fentons revelation of adopting the clones!!! probs too soon but they already kind of know them since they have parts of their sons personality. The fentons get attached quickly too.

ANYWAY

its officialy one year that my life changed drastically and i left my homeland Bolivia to live in europe. Yep. It was also Around then that i found wattpad. i guess i used it as a copimg mechanism.
